Studying some preflop ranges against 3bets early on in SNGs against specific regs that like to play ball. Additionally, trying to develop a calling range against these 2 specific regs that will 3b jam @10/20 blinds when I 3x to 60 chips it is really annoying.

I rarely have postflop spots but this was one I wanted to review;
What you guys think?

$10 SNG 9-Handed (Blinds 15/30 @2000 chips eff stacks)
Hero TT Small Blind

UTG1 folds, UTG2 limps 30, MP1 folds, MP2 raises 165, CO+BTN folds, Hero 3bets $508, UTG2 calls, MP2 calls.

Effective Stacks $1,462
($1,584): Q43
Hero c/f

- In this spot my plan was to either shove for slightly less than PSB or check fold. If they both checked I would most likely jam turn.

1st session done today.. started off LOOKING like a scrub right out of quarantine losing 10 straight sngs in a row but ended up aiiight.. 2 more to go just a spot to see how wide/tight a reg would be here.. He's been minraising every hand for a while now i have him tagged as a reg who has a solid shoving range..

Heads up $10 sng effective stacks at 8,000 @200/400/50 blinds how wide would you put villain at?

Edit: He opened jam 8k

Was this against a known reg/fish or simply unknown?

I struggle with this as well, but generally take the more patient approach and call very narrow range like AQ/AK and TT+. Most of the time they have it based on my experience so not worth calling light vs someone who appears competent.

actually i think alot of time is low/mid pocket pairs. Not sure exactly tend to think its weaker holders mixed with AKo/AQo but not TT+ AJs+. Not folding 55+ tho

Put in a quick study session.. Called up Wsop and found out how to track my bonuses thought it was located under my rewards but its under my account. Additionally I made a list of quick notes that I use to help multi-table feel free to use them if you see fit. I know a few sng grinders look at this. Hope it helps.

First session today variance starting to hit.. As expected, no biggie. Got 2 more today and trying to hit 75 sngs for the day today and tomorrow. Thats pushing the limit for me so can't slack off on my 30 min breaks and make it 1.5 hours like yesterfday. Had a bunch of 2nd place finishes in my $10 games today gonna review a few of the games and see if I can find any spots to share.

So did some numbers and since I won’t be able to return to work for some time now my plan for May is to get to Elite Status which is 1500 points. If I hit Elite that would be 12.5x mult which equates to 25% Rakeback + deposit bonus 20% + weekly promo $20 for 15th place is attainable = 55% rakeback

If anyone is interested in the WSOP Leaderboard system I did the numbers and this is how it works. Top 4 place finishes count organized by 1st/2nd/3rd/4th point system;
$1.00--> 9/4.5/3/2.25
$5.00--> 45/22.5/15/11.25
$10.00-> 90/45/30/22.5
$25.00-> 225/112.5/75/56.25
$50.00-> 450/225/150/112.5

Soooo if you trying to get top 15th don't play $1.00 games ha

Overall graph.. Upswong of pce
Trying to hit another 75 sngs today and play some nightly $25's lets go. Goal is to get 9th place this week for $50 in promos. That would tack on another 25% in RB for the week so that would be huge. You would be surprised how much you can earn back on this site looking at the numbers if you put in the hustle.

Good luck!

Mtts and sngs are something I can't crack. Always manage to make mistake at some point or being too careful during bubble.

thx man. ICM can be quite difficult even for players who play regularly.

That's a pretty sick graph, you deserve it for all the work you're putting in. Keep crushing.

I've never had a graph like that before but doom switched myself. Haha, it was bound to happen but time to make some buy ins back tonight!

Def didn't play my A game wasn't feeling it. My second session was good clear mind and playing well. Third session wasnt bad deciison wise just ran into top of range like AJ<AA 12bb eff etc etc no big deal ill bounce back its only a -7BI swing. Heres to another day of grinding. Additionally 81 games marked the most games I ever played in a single day.

Feeling much better today, got some good sleep and feeling recooped. Ready to play. Yesterday was one of those days I was just dragging ass. Starting this sesh about 30 mins before my usual 430p start time. Trying to hit 85 games today. Then next 4 days ill be off from poker. After tonight session ill do my weekly recap.

Played a monster first sesh got in 45 games and got destroyed. Variance hitting a bit but i got mad buy ins for $10 limit so Its no big deal ill bounce back. Some spots just suck like fish limps LP I jam 17bbs from big blind w/ AQo and get snapped off JTo and hits. It's gonna happen part of the game. I was in for $345 for the whole session so it def could have been worst my last 5 games was ITM in 4 of em helped limit the damage. One of positive things I'm doing is im still updating this thread even with negative results and got a clear head knowing I was having a bad session. Still was able to finish the session strong and did not tilt any.

Only got to play 1 more session tody opposed to my regular 2 due to time restraints. Probably for the best my last session was terrible. You know its bad whenever your flipping or dominate someone saying to yourself I know he will get there. JJ<JTo on the bubble Q24KA after turn i said hes getting there. You already know how it goes when your running bad. So im off from poker next 2 days gonna continue bak up on Tuesday try to grind full schedule of 70-80 games.

My goal for the rest of the month is simple. Win back 20 buy ins that I just lost and hit Silver status for the additional rakeback. I'm not shooting for more than that b/c doctor thinks ill be back at work soon.

Going to put in a few sessions today I'm not sure if ill have time for my full day grind of 3 sessions of 75 games but at minimum im shooting for 2 sessions at 50 games.

Took another $20 in promos this week which helps a bunch for rakeback

Only gonna be able to play 2 medium size sessions today if I hit 45-55 sngs that will be good. Today I was able to do some yard work and resume my physical activity did a shoulder workout in my garage and felt really good. Will be reswabbed end of the week and hopefully negative so I can go back to work and get back on the fitness grind.

Aside from all of that, focused on studying a bit today went over basic shoving and calling ranges. I notice I have been getting sloppy in some spots playing 10 tables its easy to auto jam or auto fold in simple spots where there might be a 5-10% difference of shoving or folding against certain villains. What I mean is against some regs you might have a more solid shove range in late position but if a fishier/incompetent player is in the blinds you should extend your shove range to the max which I haven't been doing in some spots. It's gonna happen regardless because lets face it sometimes we might be in 3 different HU matches ending a SNG match and also playing 7 regular tables so it's going to be action heavy but limiting it is important and makes a big difference in these turbo games.

Additionally I have been working on bvb with 12-17bbs against regulars. I've noticed I have been getting jammed on with what appears to be quite a wide range when I minraise with these stack sizes.

I have heard there is no concrete evidence as to whether a minraise or shove is more optimal in general with 12-15 bbs but if you plan to go with a mixed strat make more its balanced.

Getting in 2 sessions today. First one I played I did a monster session of 48 games played opposed to the 25 norm. One small session to go, new goal for today is 65.
