Another goal of this month is to be more active on this thread. It’s pretty difficult for me due to no software on the main site i play on but seems like a good goal nonetheless. Here is the new PC set up and most recent win I had.

Today only can play during the day roughly 6-7 hours so will load some turbo mtts

Took some days off to enjoy the 4th and worked some overtime at work. Wasn't feeling poker my past off days so slacked hardcore think only 50-60 games per day which is super low. I recently bought PT4 since I am going to be adding another client to play more sngs and another leaderboard for additional rakeback. I'm going to focus on improving my game and share some HH's now that some hands will be saved on the new client. Since Late 2019 I focused on 9-man sngs turbo structure learned a lot about ICM/shoving/calling spots but now its time to focus moreso on postflop and strength my game in that area. Will be playing some on-demands and MTTs in addition to my usual grind. Once I get comfortable playing diff gametypes while 15-17 tabling will be adding tables until I can 24 table. Will also be playing the highest stakes sngs starting this month on wsop being $50 for the gametype I play. That will generate more rake and less tables/ volume I will need to put in per month freeing up some tables so I can play on acr. Let's see how this goes this month, will be a tester.

Week 1 took down 8th for $50 for the main site sng leaderboard (Raked $110 to make $50)

Results from 7/1-7/12 shaky start but my avg stake this month is gonna be around $15-$25 opposed to $10-12 so this means nothing. Swings are obviously gonna be steeper.

First week of running the wpn on-demands total rake $59 and scooping $50 in rakeback/promos while grinding wsop sngs. This should help to maximize money/hourly. I won’t be able to do this every week but next week I’ll be good to do this again. Hoping to keep the rungood going!

Got rocked today making this month about breakeven. The swings playing $25 sngs mixed with 16.50s on-demands can be heavier than what I’m used 2. I played 30 on-demands and basically lost every single one and on wsop sngs I ran like ass too. Just one of those days. First time I’ve played roughly 30 hours in a month and down money on wsop roughly 10 buy ins. Looking like a repair type of month. Goal is to make +100 profit this month and I’ll take that add in RB + bonus and I’ll take what I can get. I’m already at +$140 RB wsop and +$150 promos both sites so if I can scoop another $100 in promos for the month plus a measly +100 profit that will still secure a +$500 month.

Additionally my goal is to go to the wsop in late october and make a run at a few events and enjoy some time away from work. I’m only going to have around 2-2.5 months to save up some money and try to bink something online. One of my investors already told me he will pay for one of the $500/$600 events for me to play at 50% so that is a start. Hotel/airfare needs to be calculated as well. Might be a costly trip.

After giving the on-demands a go for the second week I decided I'm going to exclude them from my grind moving forward. I played them strictly to add tables to my grind since its difficult to continually load 18-20 tables and gets the best bang for the buck since its technically 70-90% additional RB depending upon what tier you do. However at the end of the day in a given month on average I would say I would receive $100 in RB for raking $120 but the format is 5 min blinds starting at 60bb. It's very fast pace and buying in for $16.50 at a clip can be very costly. This week im -$400 over only 42 games which makes me care less about RB if it is difficult to make consistent profit or at least breakeven most weeks.

So instead of shooting for my regular wsop $50 weekly leaderboard promos ill shoot for $75 on most weeks which is very doable with the added volume and use the extra tables for solid structure MTTs. I will play most of the MTT's on WSOP so I can still receive some RB on the games I play.

Right now I'm at about +$200 MTTs/On-demands over 165 games and -$155 sngs wsop over 450 games roughly 40 hours played for all games. Enough wiggle room to make this into a solid month.

Goal for the rest of the month is to make another $150 promos on wsop ($75 per week starting with this week), at least breakeven for wsop sngs and make $300 profit on MTTs.

Over the next few days plan to play after work roughly 2 hours each day so i can secure the acr $50 bonus + at minimum $75 bonus on wsop but really aiming for 3rd place $100 tix. Finally back to running decent, feels sweet to have fun playing after majority of this month running horrible at sngs.

Today. 7/22 (thursday)

7/24/21 (sat)- Another day on the doomswitch, cant wait till this month is over its been horrible. Seems like one of those breakeven month profit wise would be a win just to climb out with some money post rakeback. Next time im playing is tues wed thurs then im over this month should be able to put in another 100-200 sngs in depending how much I play. Its honestly super tough grinding running meh but still motivated at point. Tues morning ill know the details of week 3 sng leaderboard results, top 3 would be huge.

7/27/21 (tues)- doooomswitch continues.. i finished my session with a level head few outbursts but good all things considered. Did some **** around the house and decided to chill out since I felt on edge from my previous session. Figured the next few days I have a bunch of time to grind no reason to push the issue if I felt lack of motivation from running meh. Tomorrow is a new day. If I could somehow manage to BE in sngs this month that would be a HUGE win lol.

7/29/21 (thurs)- Got destroyed in MTTs ran like absolute garbage but ran good in SNGs and felt relieved to hold with the best hand pre and win a few flips when behind. Great way to end the month. Likely my last grind day of the month. Glad its over.

Disgusting month, glad to wrap up this ****show of a month up. Booked few hundro profit and lucky to get out of it with my head above water so ill take what I can get. Some super awful runbad mixed with tilt calls were a recipe for disaster. Moving forward this is prob my last big month hourly wise before the WSOP in October. So the goal is to work on my MTT game for the next few months study a bunch and lay somewhat low from the sngs until the end of the year (Nov+Dec).

This is gonna be a super stretch for me to hit. Based on my calc's I should only hit 315 games and $252 raked. Usually need 450 games to hit my rake requirement, ill throw a few $50 games to up the rake with my tickets but see what happens. Also need to put some study hours in. Going to Maine in a 2 weeks as well, gonna be a busy month for sure. GL.

Damn you've been putting the work in. Respect man. Hourly was still pretty sick even though you had a bad month, I'd be pretty stoked haha. It's amazing how much rakeback and promos can bring in. How much total did you want to buyin at WSOP? (summing up all your event buyins)

Just noticed this comment, just got back home from my week trip from Maine. Was a nice break from work/poker/gym etc.

Anyways appreciate it man and yea I was happy to be above $10/hour after putting in a bunch of hours. Once I put in 40+ hours thought it was a waste of time but not bad all things considered.

Wsop- I dunno it’s super tough to say I mean I know the big events I’m doing which is the $1k, $400, $500, $600 and if I cash in any of them I’ll freeroll a few other big events. Only other games I’d do is some daily tournaments if I bust out of them early so prob another 1-2k worth of buy ins thru that if it comes down to it. I would like around $4k to play with exclusively tournaments.

So I'm bringing back this thread since it fits well with my poker goals of 2022. I did give MTTs a try for a bit but its too tough to get in volume with my work schedule and balancing out fitness and social events. Back to SNGs we go and the hourly playing these aint bad at all. Haven't played much at all this year. After my Vegas trip back in Nov 2021 I took a lengthy break and focused on fitness and getting into better shape for my job being a correctional officer (endurance wise). This past week started up playing SNGs and we off to a terrible start but its standard ****. I am playing the highest stakes on wsop being $50 games so I reg for every $5/$10 game and majority of the $25 as long as its not terribly reg fested and $50 I am pretty selective.
