Alright so a few things have happened since last time, i've spend quite a bit time with a girl i started seeing about 2 month back, really excited for what the future brings, she is a very amazing person.
Life I've been offered a job, which im currently considering, which would be a full time position as a PT, it pays less than construction work, but it's with alot of freedom, and it will allow me to actually have full hours, and still play poker due to me planning my day as i like it. So i can still do construction work for the bigger projects, the job offer is not ''final'' - As in i've been approved by 2/5 who need to approve me, got a meeting sometime in the next 2 weeks, where im gonna have my last interview. Still not sure if im actually gonna say yes, but im atleast gonna follow though, and hear what they have to offer in the entirety.
Work been nothing, and there is no more work this week either, might be some on Monday 31th (this is a big part, why im considering the job).
Poker:
had things to deal with yesterday, so i didn't get any grind in, and today aswell, that said im free now and the rest of the evening.
Feeling super good about my game, even though we are still in early stages, and keep on building our GTO understanding. Brick by brick, day by day, doing a few solves everyday, and crushing the sims. At a point where with most sims, i ''turbo run'' play vs, and is rarely making any big mistakes, so im feeling quite confident that im for the most part by default somewhat close to GTO, still messing up a bit with how we mix our checkin range with broadways on a few board structures.
I decided to
take the loan early june, meaning im gonna get a +$5k roll to play around with. Im 100% a winner at NL25, NL50, and most likely also at NL100, that said im by no means complacent, still putting in way more off table work than table work, and i will continue to do this, for the rest of my poker life. Even at the top, the one who slacks will rapidly not stay there.
BRM Plan:
0 - 1k = NL16 -> NL25 in peak hours
1k - 2.5k = NL25 (from 2k im playing NL50 for peak hours)
2.5k - 3.5k = NL50
3.5k - 6k = NL50 -> Shots at NL100 in peak hours (only while above 3k)
6k - 8k = NL50 + NL100 mixed (mainly NL100 at peak hours).
8k - 10k = NL100 primarily.
10k - 12k = NL100 primarily -> Shots at NL200 from 10k (only while above 8k)
12k - 15k = NL200 primarily
15k - 20k = NL200 primarily -> Shots at NL500 (only while above 12k)
Basicly this is a fine setup i feel, i will rather be a bit conservative since it's a loan, than do a ****tard move and be overly confident, im gonna start out with atleast 5k, hopefully bout 5.5k if this week goes well. Looking forward to grind stakes that can slowly start to make a dent in my debt, and im excited to work even harder for this, atm im at like +20 hours study weekly, we are gonna up that to 25 from june, until game is rock solid. In all honesty, i would actually prefer to be slightly more conservative, but i already feel like a BRM nit XD.
No MTT Rules, since it's not really on my mind atm, im not opening my self up to the added variance.
So still gonna push for the 17.5k hands this week at NL16 (the bigger roll i can build, the more my total roll will be when i toss in the 5k in early june).
Was kinda tilted about hand2note just working like ****, so i ended up using the last of this month's food money, and the reserve i had for PT4. Not too worried, im gonna be fine with what i have in the house for a week. Poker can't / rarely tilts me even the slightest, but software malfunction is like gasoline on a fire, it puts me over the edge in a second.
So since i couldn't figure out how to take my DB with me, we are starting fresh with PT4. Bout to get the grind on, and finish the +17.5k hands this next week, so no graph porn, or anything.
Roll sits around $170 (not counting the shot money, since i decided not to deposit them.)
