I want to think of a better goal for this thread, or some way to spice it up a bit but I'm drawing blanks...any suggestions would be appreciated.

Its not an easy time for those of use who grind mtts here in the good ol USA. If i could give you any adive it is this:

Get a roll on as many networks as you can: Merge, Bodog, Everleaf, Enetpoker and if you can get a VPN and get on ipoker. You might need to find backing for Enet and ipoker. These days its important to scout out and play the most +EV mtts and just say hell with the breakevenaments. (Unless your Jdawg ) In other words, avoid filling in merge's wack ass mtt schedule with games that dont bring value to your bank roll. If your content with little volume, staying soly on merge is fine. but if you want any type of decent mtt volume, while maintaining max value, other networks must be involved.

Boom!! We got rained out on the farm today. So I regged in two tournaments right away. $2.5k guaranteed and $3k guaranteed. Just got 2nd in the 2.5 for $500 and i'm 4/16 in the other. First for $700! Let's do this boys!

Plus I'm having some good luck here now so I would hate to ruin it But if I can keep doing well maybe I will check out another site if it's got a good sign up bonus going on or somethin, who knows I guess we shall see

I played a handful of games yesterday, not winning anything big, went deep in two but just missed the ft and ended up breaking even for the day, or down about $25.

I have a question though, I was like 90th on the September board Tourney King so I should be in the Tournament for Tourney King, correct? I think I've heard its the 2nd Sunday of each month, is that right? And will I just get a entry ticket into it or do I just gotta remember to go register for it? Not sure how it works, never been in it before.

Well I went to the bar tonight and got much more drunk than planned. Tomorrow the wife will be gone all day visiting her sister in Duluth so I have the whole day to play some tournaments. Hope I'm not too hung-over and can manage to bink at last one good one! gl on the sunday grind everyone! Woot Woot!

I am running god awful today. I feel like I am playing well, just getting my ass kicked by luck I guess. I'm still alive in the $8,750 right now and this will be my last game for the day since I'm sucking so hard. Hopefully I can make up some losses with this one

As soon as my last post I busted out of the tourney. Definitely my worst day since I've been on Merge. Down about $100. I shouldn't of played as much as I did today, too tired and a little hung-over. Gonna just blow today off and start fresh tomorrow or Tuesday.
I requested my last check on 9/16 and its still pending approval. Thinking about canceling it and cashing out a larger amount but afraid it will be even a longer wait then so idk. I'm going to take a nap. gl everyone

I feel like I played very good in this tournament. I feel like I should have won it, I was dominating going into the final table but I got a little too spewy with the chips. I really need to work on my final table game, and especially when it gets 3-4 handed. My heads up game is horrific as well. I don't usually play the shorthanded tourneys because I'm not very good shorthanded so going this deep in one felt great. Not a huge win by any means, but feels awesome after sucking so bad yesterday

Gonna play my morning "sesh" tomorrow (consisting of a whole two games, possibly a knock-out thrown in) then heading back to the farm.

Sooo I played a few games today. One final table. 6th for $120. Made up for a shot I took at the 10K $33 1 rebuy and add on the other night, which I bubbled ITM with 99<77. . But felt good to almost make it itm in my first "larger" tournament. I can't quite remember but I think I got 11th and itm was Ft. Meh

I have to work the rest of the week so maybe getting in one or two games in the evenings. Will let ya know if I get deep in anything.
I have decided I AM going to take a shot at the 100k this Sunday. So I plan on playing all day on Sunday in that and also I do believe the Tourney King tournament is on Sunday yet I still have not gotten a ticket for it or anything? But I finished the month in like 90th place on the low limit board. Anyone know when they give out tickets for those?

Played two games tonight after work. The $11 $3,250 and the $11 $4,000. Got 25th and 14th. Meh. Made a little money at least.
I am actually really excited about Sunday to play the 100k for the first time. Will be the biggest tourney I've played in. Well other than on stars where I played the 1 million turbo takedown with my fpps. I got 98th for $600. That was the best tournament I'd ever played in. I was chip leader like the entire time til AA<77 I'll never forget that hand lol. That was basically the only tournament I played on Stars, all I ever did was grind the 18 man turbos. Wish I could go back in time and play some Mtts on there. Oh well, hopefully someday...

Just a question, is merge or wherever you play really that soft? I've heard rumours that the MTT's and full of soft spots?

Yeah I play Merge (RPM). And yes, the MTTs are very soft, nothing compared to the handful of mtts I played on Stars. Plus, most of the tourneys only have between 100-400 entrants which I like a lot. The blind structure is different as well, so the games feel almost like turbos on Stars imo, which I also like a lot. The prize pool is really top heavy though, I didn't like that all that much at first, but I've gotten to kind of like it. It keeps me playing to win and not to just min cash since the min cashes are pathetic. I really enjoy RPM and would recommend it. I still haven't received a check from them yet. I have one pending approval from 9/16 so hopefully within the next few days/weeks I'll get it. That's the only downfall if u ask me. But hopefully that will get better in time

Hopefully I can get some hand historys in here in the near future. I tried today but I couldn't figure out how I don't have a holdem manager or any sort of tracking software whatsoever so not quite sure how to go about it. But I'll figure it when I have more time.
