What's up 2p2!? I have wanted to make a goal for myself for quite some time now so figured now is as good of time as any
I don't get to play very often, due to the fact I work quite a bit. But I try to get in at least 2 tournaments either before or after work most days.
When I first joined RPM I was trying the sit and gos with no luck at all.
So I switched to the cheap MTTs late last month. Here's my giraff as of today :


Not the greatest I know, but I am quite proud of it myself I'm semi-new to the tournament game and I know I have a lot of improving to do.
My goal is going to be very simple as of now. I plan on winning more next month
As of now, that's all I've got. I just want to try to continue getting better and make more every month. I will update daily(hopefully) and say what I am up or down for the day and the tournaments played/results.

All I can say is monetary goals are nice and all, but in practice volume goals are better imo.
As long as you aim to play good poker at all times

I wish I could make a volume goal, someday I hope I can get to that. I just don't have enough time as of now, and I don't think I have the heart to sit and put in those crazy 10+ hour sessions I read about on here. I'm not just hardcore enough I guess... yet

Here's a little info on myself, non poker related:
My name's Justin. I'm 23 years old. I live in a small town in Wisconsin (population less than 1.5k people). After graduating high school I was lucky enough to luckbox a job at a sweet job at the Mayo Clinic. Worked there for about 3 years before getting laid off. Was unemployed working on the family farm for about 1 year before I finally got into the Post Office, which is where I am working now. I am an RCA (rural Carrier Associate). It's basically a part time mailman. I work every saturday and am on-call during the week. I have learned 8 different routes so I get called in almost every day of the week. Hopefully the post office doesn't go bankrupt real soon before I get in their full time since I really like the job. I just got married to my high school sweetheart and bought a house early this summer. So yeah things are going good and I am very content with my life...
So yeah, sorry for rambling there, but there's a quick intro about myself If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot!

Well no luck in the 4k. Played a few others as well, none worth mentioning though since I did not cash in any, almost, but nadda... I played a little too loose and wasn't focused enough since I was at the same time trying to help the wife study for a test lol. I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. Tomorrow is crushing time.

I need to not play some days after work. Like today lol. Playing some now but I am just too tired to play my A game. I need to work on knowing when I'm too exhausted to play. Hopefully I can still make a little money tonight. I think I need to find some good music to listen to while playing or something....hmmmmmmmmmm

Sadly I got 7th for $130 But I am happy with that considering I went into the final table extreme short stack. Got up to 2nd in chips but made a donk call and spewed away most the chips with AJ vs. KK. sigh. Oh well, at least it's a + night.

Should be able to play one or two more tomorrow night after work since the wife will be working late. But I need to reg right after work because I can't miss UFC 135 Jones Vs. Rampage Come on Jones!

That reminds me though, has anyone ever played UFC poker? The games are so incredibly soft it's sad. Not much for prizes but there are a few decent prizes occasionally...just throwing that out there for any US residents afraid of putting money on a real site these days... gl everyone

Played a handfull of games after work. Couldn't cash in anything if my life depended on it. Did get a few bounties in the one. So ended up -$40 the night. Hopefully I can get in a decent Sunday session tomorrow and bink me a good one!
I am also eagerly awaiting for my check to process so I can go buy a new python. I don't know if there are any snake fans on 2p2 but if there are I'd love to hear it. I've got a few, but my pride and joy is my 18 foot, 200+ pound albino burmese python

Whew. I put in my longest session ever playing poker today. About 9 hours. I had 3-4 tourneys running the whole day. Ending $-20 Had a few min cashes but just couldn't get deep in anything. I almost had 1 ft but finished in like 14 for $60.
So, basically a worthless day lol. I never play all day like I did today but I had the house to myself and had a feeling I would run good, shows how much I know. It could of gone worse though so it's all good. One thing I hate about playing for so long is my eyes begin to bother me from looking at the screen so much and I start to get headaches. I dunno how you mad grinders do it
I'm not scheduled to work tomorrow so if I don't get a call by 9 A.M. I am gonna play one or two in the morning before I go find something more useful to do I have better luck playing in the mornings it seems like so we'll see!

I'll post a new graph sometime tomorrow. Hopefully the "mountain" continues a gradual hike upwards.

Last night was needed as you can see by the graph. Did play 3 games this morning but didn't get anywhere in them. No work today either for me, so I am gonna get some work done around the house. Hopefully play a late game later tonight.

haha. I could, but goats are expensive and hard to come by. I feed it rabbits and chickens. I like to switch it up to give her a variety.

She's about 18 feet, 200ish pounds. I bought her as a hatchling, only about a foot long. That was over 9 years ago. She's puppy dog-tame. You open up her enclosure and she slithers out to you on her own. Unless she's hungry, then you leave her the f*ck alone lol

Thanks a lot Urajerk. Glad you stopped in, your thread has been one of my biggest inspirations on 2p2 since you play the same games as I do and you crush 'em, hopefully I can catch up I'd love to skype it up, but I don't have skype. Might have to download it sometime now though.

I'm in the $2.20 $1,500 rebuy now. This and the $16.50 $1,500 are the two I like to play every morning i don't work since they start at 9 and 10.

haha yeah I know the schedule is pretty pathetic. Those are pretty much all I have time for though most days. Then usually a couple more towards the night (8-9 pm). Hopefully someday I'll be able to get a few full days in a row in.
