Welcome to my first of many posts. I have been playing poker semi-seriously for about two years as a college student and I am pretty close to break even with a steady incline initially then some huge swings recently. I have ran up 100 to 2600 in two days playing online and 200 into 850 live one night but recently have tilted off about 1000 online and 2000 live in only 3 days culminating in a 4k pot that I lost really destroyed my confidence. I have decided to give myself a generous online and live roll for a final chance at making poker a serious part time job or maybe one day taking it full time.

Initially I will be grinding 10NL and 25NL 6-max on ACR along with my first use of a HUD. The main goal is to practice my mental game so that I will able to safely play 1/2 at a local card house this summer. I am making my deposit now and will be continuously updated my results and interesting hands/ mental game progression for anyone to be entertained or to learn together,

Day 1:
Played about 2.5-3 hour session 4 tabling 10NL 6-max. Had a up and down session but mostly up. Realized that 50% of the player pool seem to be multi-tabling "regs". Here are some stats from my day-
Hands Played: 939
Total Winnings: +$9.28
Only one all in hand affected equity and I got sucked out on. I had KK in the BB villian had AQo I three bet, he 4-bets, I 5-bet jam hoping to get called by AK or QQ and he calls light with AQ. not too interesting but I ran $-10.50 under all-in EV.

Definitely had some great hands to win big pots ex. Full House over Nut Flush. also lost some big pots Flush over Flush, Nut Flush to Full House.

Will likely review session tomorrow and post a few hands with my thoughts and questions before jumping into another session

I review a few tendencies that may be emerging after only 1k hands. The big pots/ big swings are hands that stick with you the most after the session but I feel like most of the edge is gained in smaller pots and situations that occur much more often.
The first statistic that somewhat concerns me is that my VPIP/PFR is 28/17. this seems somewhat wide and passive and I think the main contributor is my defending range. In the BB I am only folding to a steal 52% (66/116) which means that I am continuing with a large range OOP. I am 3-betting ~5%(8/116). I would like some opinions on whether a more Tight and polarizing defending range with a higher 3-bet frequency may play better in the long run. I am somewhat comfortable with making decisions HU OOP but also feel like I call down too light, not believing c-bets and turn-barrels as much as I should. I am going to jump into some 25NL and focus more on my play from the BB hoping to improve or at least see how a slightly different strategy fairs,

Day 2:
Short(er) session with quite a few ups and downs about 1.5 hours playing 25NL
built up to 6-tables which was the most I have ever played at once but I feel like I was able to make somewhat well thought out decisions and could not have played close to as well without starting to use a HUD. I have not yet delved into the more advanced functionality but as of now use villians VPIP/PFR to help decide how my hand might play against his range.

I know I ran very well today and will never sustain a 48.55 BB/100 win-rate but it is encouraging to know there at least is a chance ( I would like to think 70% ) that I can beat 25NL hopefully for 5-10 BB/100. Still haven't done too much hand review but I know discipline in studying especially since I have so little experience doing hand history reviews will be the best way to improve
