First, I want to start off by saying how excited I am to begin this poker challenge of going from $100 bankroll to a $10,000 bankroll. I will be updating here frequently with my progress and some hands that I think are interesting. I have been playing poker for a few years now and turned 21 this last summer 2015. I am currently a rising senior at the University of Colorado. I don't play live as much as I would like, but I do manage to make it out to Blackhawk once a week or so. This thread is going to mainly focus on my online action, but might include a live session here and there. I am excited to see where this goes and would love to have your encouragement and suggestions as we go along this journey.
05/24/2016 placed 9th out of 1200 in the 10k gtd on bovada last night for $130 dollar cash.
My goal is to make this poker challenge as interactive as possible. I believe that discussing hands here and keeping detailed track of my progress that I will have a great chance of being successful in this challenge.
you really need to consider what this challenge and money means to you cause playing 25$ tourney with a 75$ bankroll is going to lead to one thing and one thing only busto! you should be playing the 1$ 9 mans or 27 man's when they run 100 bi for tourney and at least 20 for cash games on bovada.
Yesterday was a pretty rough day overall due to the fact that I kept getting sucked out on in most of my All-ins. I would have AK and the villain would have like A 10 and hit a 10.
Cashed in two tournies yesterday on Bovada, but lost a few other games.
