Hello reader,

To make a long story short: I am being lazy in a time when I can not afford to be lazy any longer. I need to improve on my work ethic and I need to do so urgently! As I can not turn into someone else overnight I shall start with one to-do list at a time.

Goals for 13th of January:

[ ] Play 5000 hands.
[ ] Go for a long walk (at least 1h)
[ ] Take care of the most urgent bills.
[ ] Do chores in and around the house for 30 minutes.
[ ] No gaming in spare time.

I know this may not seem like much for the most of you but I intend to build on this. Currently my avg. daily volume barely hits 1000 hands/day. Instead of grinding I am wasting hundreds of hours playing videogames. Physically I am in a worse shape than ever. I need to lose at least 15kg, - ideally 20kg (44lbs). I have already made an attempt to change my eating habits, but my fitness needs attention too. Its embarressing but I find it hard to run for 5 minutes straight and to do more than 10 push ups. Having mastered the arts of procastrination and neglect - maybe, just maybe it is time to learn something useful.
I hope this blog won't end before it even started. Don't shy away of sharing your own experiences and advice. Ill try to set goals and update daily, then ideally move on to weekly/monthly updates. Before I forget: I'll be playing fast formats 6tabling 25nl-50nl-100nl depending on how I feel, how I run and how the pool seems. I will post results and the occasional odd hand.

Thank tou for your time. Now wish me luck or even better - kick me in the as*.

Thanks for the support guys

I can not be overly happy with what I have managed to do but it definitely is a
step in the right direction.

[x] Play 5000 hands.
[x] Go for a long walk (at least 1h)
[x] Take care of the most urgent bills.
[x] Do chores in and around the house for 30 minutes.
[x] No gaming in spare time.

I did not manage to grind 5k hands mainly because I "lost" four hours making the transition from HEM2 to PT4 and building/figuring out how to build an appropriate hud. I tried to chase the goal but found out quickly that my game has become very poor - along with a bad run it seemed like a very costly decision to continue grinding just for the sake of completing the volume. Intended to do the bills aftar the grind but chose to go to bed and get more sleep instead. I was off to a flying start but got killed in the process. Tonight ill grind again - today I have other priorities so the new goals are:

[ ] Grind 3k hands
[ ] Finish the bills from yesterday
[ ] No gaming
[ ] Spend at least 20 minutes doing something useful in the household.
[ ] Find some indoor workout for beginners and work out for 15 minutes
