6 is my std, but can play 7-8 while still ok. Tracked volume is a bit lower due to usually having 1-3 tables of few untracked sites.

yeah i have no idea haha, think it's supposed to be serious because it's advertising their company.
It's funny because not only does he not explain anything he says, but what he's advocating is mostly completely wrong anyway lmao,

Yeah so true, the fact that it tries to be promotional for the stable is hilarious.

Played a bit 1k today and didn't book a winning day, for some weird reason I had to check results and lost about 3.5k combined today. At first felt kinda bad, as now not at the magical 10k month mark anymore. But then reviewed most hands I wasn't sure about, cleared my head watching some worldcup (****you swedes). But just thinking the big picture, daily, or monthly results doesn't matter at all.

It's all about maximizing my EV during my poker career, and I'm 100% sure that sitting on 1k at the moment at some of the softer sites will just increase my overall EV, even though it might feel bad if i'd have a b-e or losing month crushing midstakes and dropping all back at 1k. Gonna take few day break off of poker going to my hometown and decided not to play at all, will probably do some studying though. Always been feeling super pumped after small breaks and already looking forward to getting back to tables after break!

And +1-2k on untracked. Soooo

LETS ****ING MIRRIONS TOMORROW!

F@K ya!
09-25-2016 , 01:37 AM
So up approx 11k for the month (2k under EV) and plan to have 7-10k buyins tomorrow at MTTs. I mean.. when can that ever be a bad decision????

That is a terrible decision.

10k in buyins, cashed prob 1k, : / So basically lost something like 20% of my BR, which also is probably my biggest loss in a day.

Not even feeling bad at all, as basically when I decided to reg for 10k, I already prepared to lose it all. Was fun while it lasted, just lost all important ARRR INS.

Basically I knew that if I brick everything, I just need to not play 1k for few weeks which is a bit of EV loss in itself, but then my EV of today should be quite high if we assume I have an ok ROI across the mtts, which I think I do, seeing the **** mtt players do and I'm far from clueless playing shortstack. And also my ability to print at midstakes isn't affected at all, so figured why not. Felt 10x worse the times my shot at higher limits goes bad and need to drop back down.

Graph of today

MTT lifetime bb graph. EVbb sitting at 8.4 at basically mostly 200$+ mtts and some 109s.

Well that was a bit anticlimactic ending for a month, was kinda pumped to put in last 2-3h session, got stacked 3 times in 10 min and decided call it a month.

All in all kinda ok with my performance for the month at cash, and looking forward to next month with really good feeling (monthly mental resets in poker is so weird lol) . Total losses for the month are like -2k, but might be a bit less actually as my bookkeeping is kinda messy with withdraws. Not too bad when taking into account of punting 10k in a single day to MTTs and being 5k under EV.

Skipped first week of the month, and then also took few other 2-3 day breaks for some reasons so volume was kinda ****. Month started slow and was a bit out of touch first week or so after having 9 day break being at barca on vacation. Then picked up decent heater, winning like 12k in a week. Then decided to yolo WCOOP ending and punted 10k on mtts last sunday, which in hindsight maybe wasn't that good of a decision. Not in a way that I am tilted for having a another losing month in a row, but because after that day I was kinda not feeling like playing and my sleeping schedule was royally ****ed, so took 2 days off and after that I've been getting crushed at tables, majority of my sessions not being on A game.

But past few days I've been able to get a proper sleeping schedule that I've noticed I really enjoy. Basically go to sleep at 9-11 pm, and wake up like 5-6 am. Starting day with 2-4h of grind or how long the late night games last and after that have a break, do stuff I need to do, do some studying etc, and then play another 2-4h session from 3-5pm -> and then go sleep early. Really trying to keep this schedule going unless I find that games at the early morning hours are just unplayable.

One thing what I'm not happy with for the month is time spent studying and I kept looking at the graph too often later part of the month, something I'll try to do better next month. I need to keep up a routine to keep going to the lab every day for a hour or so if I wanna progress to the lower highstake games in the future, but I often find myself starting to skip the lab sessions when I'm heatering or antiheatering. I feel like when I'm not consistently doing the work, my visualization of spots becomes not as great as it could be, which hinders my exploitgame and kinda makes me autopilot some spots too often. Suggestions how to schedule and keep the labwork consistent is appreciated. Maybe it's better to schedule like 1h of studying 3-4 times a week or something, never really been into this scheduling, but could try it out.

Tracked results:

Gonna go ****ing hard at it at midstakes next month and at the end of the month, hope to be shotting 1k again, also, not going busto is a good goal.

Goals for next month:

[ ] Not looking at results a single time and only midstakes even if I have a heater until 21th,
[ ] Crush midstakes
[ ] Not a single tournament
[ ] Don't lose all profit at 1k
[ ] In teh lab minimum 1h 4 times a week and keep it fkn consistent.

Nice update. GL in October!

October has started decentish, no idea of total results, but have kept the GTO sleepschedule, and study routine. Actually now also doing some planning on what I study day to day and keeping up with it. Really should've done this already long time ago, well I tried but always lost the routine.

Also played some HU past few days and peeked for HU only graph (DOESN'T COUNT), and things have gone quite well. And HU is fun as ****. Only playing vs fish and vs really bad regs. Not anyone with half a brain so far. Maybe later as I've done a bit work on my HU game. BUvBB is one of the strongest part of my game and HU is kinda similiar to that so think I can transition quite well.

lolhu results, NL400 only

Sick graph mate. I've been attracted to HU but I thought it was pretty dead nowadays and decided it's not worth the studying but now I'm reconsidering.
Do you actually find HU fish/bad regs on Stars? Can you comment on the rake structure+competition across various sites?
I know WCG said he's not even sure he could beat the 50NL rake on Stars which was a blow to my HU dreams...
10-04-2016 , 10:39 AM
Don't rly play stars, except when games are dead and feeling suicidal and go battle the midstake regs.

Had a 4 day break of poker due to things kinda got out of hand after thursdays student party and then bunch of friends came over for the weekend for Finland - Croatia football game on sunday, so that turned out to be quite of a bender.

Super excited to start playing today, as also just 30min ago fixed my shortage of snus. :3333

LFG!!!!!!!!

Hey man, cool thread! GL with your goals
10-10-2016 , 03:31 PM
Somehow managed to have a winning day despite decent hangover and running 3bi under EV, pretty cool. Also won 1.2k on untracked sites so was a decent comeback to the tables. Also got some HU action from few weaker regs and managed to win few stacks there aswell.

Now trying to get few weeks without looking results and then hopefully getting back to 1k games!!
