Also, ultimately, while your main focus should be on fundamentals, without decent micro at least and some macro, you're going to really struggle with that.

Off the top of my head, Freakonomics and The Undercover Economist are fun and easy places to start.
Raghuram Rajan is more academic but clear and concise, and also former CBI chief: I recommend Fault Lines highly.
For some micro you're mostly looking at lectures and textbooks.

Björn Wahlroos Markets and democracy (Markkinat ja demokratia).
It covers basic economic concepts and economic history in a very easily readable form. I liked it, only read 40 pages tho

Idk bout your starting level but taloustieteen oppikirja by matti pohjola is a pretty nice starter as are sixten korkman's books for basic economics and economic thinking.

For investing Marko erola's paras sijoitus is worth browsing. The psychology of investing by john nofsinger is a fun read if youre interested in behavioral stuff.

There's also a bunch of MIT, Harvard etc lectures on YouTube on econ 101 etc, def a viable option imo

If you wanna dig deeper and do some more mathy explorations macroeconomics by williamson and intermediate microeconomics by varian are nice and pretty well regarded afaik.

I'd also recommend michael crichton's and michael lewis' novels

Well month almost finished and figured I want to post results already so I don't "try to keep results good" for the result of the month.


Comeback is realll! Ended up being nice month, even though still running tons under EV, but can't really complaing having +20k month.







Also checked my NL1k results post after my last shots there, started shotting somewhere during early december. Can't really complaing running so much under EV as even the green is probably above my true EV.

Don't usually talk strat, but fish strat is kinda w-e. I mean vs fish its hard to say what is std and what isn't as you can justify prettymuch anything with reads (sounds like a live player lul).

But flop is kinda close every decision can't really say what is best here, kinda like smallbet to induce vs some and call vs raise, maybe its bad. But kinda think fish play more correctly OTF vs normal size.

Turn I just kinda read into the size being more AQ etc A2 heavy and even though it turned out to be wrong here, I'm not sure it's generally wrong to read the small size vs fish to be more mergeish range and not that many flushes, esp weak flushes. And if I can discount some flushes and maybe even 22, jam gets better if he has decent freq of AQof AJof here and calls it off. Also didn't count on high riverbluffing freq, which makes the turn jam better. And obv I knew I'm gonna bink an A!!!
