What's your reasoning behind the river fold with set of 7s? Basically thinking the flush got there plus 66 which villain donked his straight on the turn with?

ha well that's quite the compliment, thanks.. wrt 77 I think its a trivial fold when everything arrives, people bet linear not polar in the micros sizing on riv is going to be 6 nearly all the time, some flushes.. expect people to x/f x/c weaker sets and 2pair.. fold button is your friend vs aggression

yeah I definitely prefer a less aggro line with the Ks in my hand. villain was a perceived fish so I don't think it can be awful, but vs his sizing I think a xc is better, stack sizes are a bit awkward

my 2 cents is that you make an unecessary raise otf that puts you in a tougher spot later on. If you feel you are ahead of his bluffs and have enough bd and overcard equity vs his value then flatting should be a more +ev play than raising/folding.

turn overbet is unecessary as well since his range is uncapped and you will fold out a lot of worse drawing hands that would call to a normal 70-75% bet. Id rather villain call heart draws that we beat at showdown when he misses than fold them out but lose a larger pot to his value.

I think calling flop and calling/betting when checked to ott in a smaller pot will get you the most ev overall though.


gl on the grind! it's a long process but if you study hard and stick to it good things can happen

I wouldn't bluffraise river in first hand w QT vs a recreational, don't see many people b/f a flush there at all.

AQss is just a flopcall and take it from there imo. Turn could go either way between bet and check but I'm prob mostly checking back facing that donk/call otf, wouldn't use that sizing when betting turn. Also, not sure we're even calling turn raise, implied odds are poor with that small stack left, Ace river won't be good and he could even have 54ss/5s4x/5x4s etc. which makes our outs even worse.
