i know right

Had to really work for it today, started off getting coolered a bunch. Heading out for a birthday hence less hands. A wins a win

Still adjusting to the regs at 50nl, I found quite a big difference in terms of aggression compared to 25nl.

2h study, 3.5h poker

Played A game today, 3h grind and 4h working on my game. Had RIT on and nearly all my 80/20s chopped with lower pairs today. There's a few things which I am trying to get my head around in relation to river spots hence more study.

heres my month too, something like 14 days since I started on PS.

How many tables do you play? Your hand/hour ratio seems really low, so i am guessing 4 reg tables? That winrate is sick though, keep crushing!

2nd hand I like b/f river way more. He prob wont bet KJ, KQ, AQ OTR but can call bet. And flop I would bet bigger because of board texture.
              Thats just my opinion.

Put in four hours today and 30min warmup in the morning. Played B- game at best couldn't find the fold button in some questionable spots. Also lost every single pot vs the whales, they just kept getting there.

Thought id make a slightly longer post today since its usually only a brief daily poker update.

First lets get the poker for the day out of the way. Decided to take a day off since I am quite over trained from the gym combined with not really taking a day off for a while I am a little fatigued mentally. Fail, saw some juicy games and jumped in for an hour. Also put in three hours of simplifying my strategy even more.

My overall 50nl since moving up - 1,330 minutes so far. Honestly assessing my game I think I have definitely a 3-4bb more in there. There have been a couple of sub-optimally played sessions where I was fully self aware of my poor decision making process and taken a little too long to quit the session. I am working on this. I really hope I can start taking 100nl shots by 30k hands of 50nl.

Away from poker I have been on the Godfather 1,2 & 3 grind. Really enjoy the classic gangster films. Got Goodfellas and Casino lined up next. Have also been doing a fair bit of reading. Past few months iv finished the Alchemist, a Man's Search for Meaning (highly recommend it) and a property investment book by Oliver Newland.

I am also a class car enthusiast, and I do think they offer much better returns than property in a mid-long term perspective. Although its more of a niche investment/collector market I find it really interesting. It has been a family business for a long time and iv been helping out over the past 5 years and therefore learned the ins and outs of the industry.

I dont really use any of the above. In terms of simple strategy development I am looking at it from a macro perspective, as a multi street betting game where I need to have a clean thought process and plan of action for all streets. I am trying to approach the game from a more exploitative framework. I was stuck for quite a while using things like fzilla and analyzing hands with no real productivity.

Nice, but just to be clear, solvers are the best exploit tool available. Many people think it "teaches" GTO strategy, but if you node lock you actually get the biggest ev lines vs the tendencies of the players you are playing agaisnt

A decent amount of my off the tables work is around Nicks suggestions. I will probably look in depth at PIO stuff when I move up to SSNL and go from there. Are you using PIO for this?

I don't own PIO yet, but I plan on getting it in the future. I have been watching nick's videos too, and they are really helpfull, especially considering how much free content is available.

Damn dude, feel bad for these horrible days just hang in thight and playing your best

                                              H1: sick cooler.

H2: before seeing the results I was much more inclined to call the turn 3bet (even versus a fish I think call>4bet), but seeing what he is capable of can see why you decide to jam.

H3: I think you forced agression pretty hard in this spot, as nick likes to say. I mean, raising getting it in otf is def profitable, but I would go for the call, eventhough we are OOP. Although we have a pretty strong hand here, it is not a slam dunk getting it in on the flop, unless he jams AK or something. Think playing this hand slowlier is best, even vs a fish.

H4: No way this guy is a reg wtf. Vs a normal player I might find the fold here, though this an incredibly weird spot.

For H3 totally agree with the FA, just a weird turn spot after he calls flop raise. Think call is better too.

H4 is reg lol, i actually tanked there wondering wtf but i had a volatility note so whatever

Thanks for looking over the hands!

Gl man, subbed. How do you find the reg tables vs zoom, if you have tried zoom? I'm a bit put off because every table seems to have like 5 eastern euro grinders in the waiting list lol.
