Hello Community,

I started the CFP HeadsUp program at BPC. I am(or was hopefully) a breakeven/losing player who wants now to start poker seriously and rise to the mid stakes. Some people went the same way as me before and I hope I will also be such succesfull as they have been. I will work very hard and will try to finish the program as fast as possible. I have setted my goals very high and at least I want to finish the program in 12 months (I am aiming for much lesser time, but we have to see how things will go). I will update this blog regularly and provide some interestings graphs like prior and after coaching started.
If there are any questions about BPC, the program…. just ask

Thanks

This is my first entry of my journey. I got a really bad start in the program. First of all I got very ill. Sadly it took me a lot of time to recover. I am happy that I didnt died because it was a really serious disease. Now the worst part is over and I hope I can now focus finally on Poker and on the program. I finished the starter course and will start to play soon. I am waiting to get the permission. Also I will have to work about two weeks left and then I will quit my current work to focus 100% on Poker. Besides that nothing really changed in my life. I will use this blog also as reminder for important events and set here also goals besides poker.

Daily goals till 6.9.15:

– Get up in the morning 10.00 a.m.

– Do 1-2 hour daily sport/workout

– Play 10 hours daily poker

– Improve / Study daily poker 2 hours

Thanks and good luck at the tables

If you were and/or are a brekeven player I assume you haven't played full time before. When I see play 10 hours of daily poker I assume you mean 10 hours of actually playing at least 1 table, not counting breaks in between? That length of playtime is very demanding and until you have a lot of experience you will not be able to maintain focus and will begin to play your C game at best.

I'm not saying not to shoot for that amount of playtime, but at least while you're starting I'd recommend playing 2-4 2 hour sessions a day, with at least half an hour break between each of them. There are limits to how much play time and study are actually effective, work smarter not harder.

good luck!
