ty, ty. hope you had a good month as well

------------------------------------

Didn't update for a while because I'm still not sure on what to do. Bankroll is at 1118 for the month, had a rough start this month but already got everything back.

Think I'm withdrawing a bit, might buy a new chair because the one I've at the moment is really old and since I spend a good amount of time sitting might as well do it. Already got some under my eye and might buy one of them soon.
Also looking into some software, Pio looks way too much for me at the moment and it isn't cheap, GTO+ seems like a good option but I still have some reading to do on that front

Alright, results-wise it's meh. Played couple session of MTTs and bricked pretty much everything not much I could've done.
Cash got a good start but then, jesus christ, bad beat after bad beat. I've reviewed the sessions and could've saved around 14€ on silly/tilty mistakes but that was all

Darn redline at the beginning was just a diagonal on the graph going down. Finally got it back on track

What I've in mind at the moment is keep playing 10z and 25z whenever it runs which isn't that often. I'll also play MTTs whenever I feel like and add 25nl regular tables if I see a juicy one. Hopefully, it'll go better than the last one

Think that is all, got work in a bit but will definitely play when I get home

Results for yesterdays session after work

Really disappointed at my play. Could easily be a +3 BIs session but I wasn't playing horribly with the addition of some funny runouts ended up not playing my best.
Had two spots where I called 4B Jams vs weak regulars with QQ and they ended up having AA =/ In reality, they were easy folds but not sure what I had in mind

GL with this. The MTTs seem to be getting better on Stars.pt. The entrants at least seem reasonable, more than at the time of the separation of the market? I'm keen to know how they are in general, as I'm hoping to relocate to Portugal in the next year or two.

Where are you at Uni in Portugal? I spent an amazing Erasmus year in Coimbra.

The player pool is decent, we're a small country but at evenings the prizes are decent. Nothing to fancy tho =/ Players are bad and I'm almost sure there's a lot of "semi pros" living from them since the minimum wage in here is something like 550€.
We're expected to join the Spain/France shared market soon, so it'll be better by then.

I study in the north one, Universidade do Minho, nightlife is a bit stale but still good. Coimbra is nice, been there only twice but had a freaking great time.

Crazy days since the beginning of the month. I can't do anything, it's coolers left and right and my play is degrading. I'm aware that I'm not doing my best but still don't realize what I'm doing wrong. Kinda stupid but meh

Don't have much to say other than I've been reviewing more than usual, also thinking about starting a new book but still not sure which one.

Either way, I'll post MTD graph/results because I'm a bit lost on the updates, sorry =/

It'll be hard to turn this month into a good one but I'm confident I'll be able to do it

Only posting idiotic hands this time,

Pokerstars introduced a new table finder thingy where you can't just table select, instead you join a pool and it creates tables. Not sure how I feel about this because I had in my mind to table select hard at 25nl. At least, since this started, 25z is running more often.

Bankroll is at 950.78€, still healthy obviously but lets starting praying that the loosing streak ends before I start doubting my game.

Got the day off tomorrow, will study early afternoon and then grind hard up to dinner. Got stuff to do after but we'll see how it goes. Aiming for 3k hands tomorrow to pump up the volume and hopefully regrind the losses

                        Think that's all

P.S.: Also looking to subscribe to some training site, kinda out of the loop and not sure on what's best, any recommendations?

                        So, what's new?

Shot took 25nl again and just crash and burned =(

I must have a mental impairment because I just can't play optimally. Feeling like I deviate too much from my general strat there whenever I finish a session. Feeling lost at the moment and not sure on what path I must take.

Overall not bad results because I got a grip on 10z again and got everything back quickly.

Low volume month, down 20€ on cash at the moment and like 100€ on MTTs but that's alright. Been regging some 10€ BIs that aren't going so great at the moment.

One thing that must improve is where I spend my time, way too much time not doing anything, being watching netflix/twitch the two where I spend the most time with. Went out a lot as well but that's not a bad thing, a bunch of unplanned stuff that just happened

All in all crappy month, we're already halfway done with March and I haven't done any visible progress, I'm studying a decent bit, more than usual, but still not enough.

Don't think I've anything else to say, lacking a bit on updates in here and that also has to improve.

                        ---------------

Think that's all, I'm reviewing a bunch of stuff tomorrow so I'll post hand then.

                        Hello everyone,

Been thinking about what I want to do with this PG&C and I've reached the conclusion that it needs to go a step further. Feeling really stagnated and complacent these last couple of days, I'm sick at the moment but I'm sure that it only makes up for a little bit.

I'll start to update this weekly instead of daily/whenever I felt like.

Will also define some objectives and things that I want to achieve that week, not sure on what I'll fall into but mostly time/amount of stuff that I think should be done

                        Either way, last weeks results

Played 25nl for a bit again and got rekt. I've already reviewed the session and it was just unfortunate spots. Also been studying quite a bit either way, some hands

                              Bad news for poker,
Droped my laptop on thrusday and its stoped working. Apparently the disk is gone with all my Database. Not a Big of a deal since I think I can request Haha from PokerStars. My concern are the notes I had on everyone on the Stars folder. Hopefully it can be recovered.

Not a great start considering the weekly goals, but not much I can do. Should get the laptop Monday/Tuesday so going to resume the grind there

Any news and I'll update this, GL to everyone grinding

                              March Recap

A bit late on the monthly update but better late than never.
Pretty unfulfilling month, feeling like I got nothing done and got zero progress regarding stakes being played. Considering the beginning of the thread I'm still playing 10z, the bankroll did grow a lot but that's still not enough considering my expectations.

Started the month with a bitter downswing, still recovered tho and even tho I've lost a bunch with 25nl shots, 6 BIs to be exact, I've managed to turn the month positive with a huge heater later.

                              Stakes breakdown

                              Graph

Don't think that there's a need to pinpoint where the 25nl shots where taken

                              10z only

10Bis over EV, that's a lot and makes it even worst since I believe I ran particularly bad overall in the month.

Regarding studying I can say that I'm also not satisfied, I did study more than I usually do, which is zero, got some ranges worked and been looking mostly at spots on 3B pots. Not many work put into it but it's something.

                              What's next?

I've started grinding in April, had in mind to do 60k hands month and still do. Just not on 10z only because that takes me nowhere. Think that I've proven that I beat the stake for a good deal, 6bbEV/100 since the start of the thread. There's a lot of spew in there and some progress as well, believe I could be over 8 without a doubt.

Where am I going with this?
Basically found myself grinding 10z again and having zero motivation to shot take even tho I've like 85BIs for nl10.
My plan is to withdraw everything and leave 50€ only and start at the bottom. Going to be playing 2nl reg tables and reg tables only. Not going to touch Zoom which won't be hard since there's only 10z on the Portuguese skin of stars.

Withdrew everything but 50€ as I've said earlier, had a 300€ withdraw in late March as well

                              Here's the bankroll

                              Rules
                              • Will always shot take whenever I've 30Bis for the next stake (final goal being 25nl. Will polish my game till I beat for a good deal, 5bb?)
                              • 5Bis stop loss on shots taken (will always regrind whenever I take a shot and lose 5Bis)
                              • 5h/w study at the very least
                              • Keep a schedule (making a detailed one below)
                              • 30m/session of reviewing previous sessions (always before a session, will work as a warm-up)
                              • 20h/w of just grinding (adjusted the session timeout to 5 minutes so it doesn't include any break time in the active session)
                              • Post regularly on discord (got a good group that I can discuss hands/theory with and I'm not as active as I should be for my own good)
                              • Update thread weekly with results and on time (every Monday you should expect an update regarding results, might post some hands in between that I'm not too sure of or just some funny ones)

                              Schedule

This is something I struggle a lot with, I always find myself falling on a graveyard shift sleeping schedule. Here's what I've in mind

Wake up between 10-11. Shower/Breakfast and then study until lunch which usually happens at 13h. Review as a warm-up and start the grind.Have regular breaks which I'm not too sure how they're going to work, thing with Zoom is that I can just sit out whenever I feel like. Never exactly played just regular tables so I'll see how they work, for sure they remove me from the table if I get inactive for too long. Try and not spend countless hours watching Netflix/Twitch (Poker channels not included).
The last one might the hardest, I'm used to watch a lot of those before I got to bed, gonna try and watch a poker video instead before I go to sleep. Not saying I'm dumping them both but will for sure reduce the hours wasted there.

Also have work, I normally have afternoon/night shifts, it's just 4 hours but obviously got to adapt the grind around it. Think I'm always 19-23h next week so that works good to have before and after work grinding.

                              ------------------

Not doing much stuff poker related till Monday, got a wedding tomorrow and some stuff planned for Sunday. Should grind later today after work and on Sunday evening.

Results since the beginning of April, bye 10z

Think that it's all, got everything explained and detailed. Feeling super motivated so it was a good thing that I've decided to do this.

P.S.: Is there a chance I can change the thread title? Mods?
