Hitting volume goals. Playing as bat**** crazy/spewy. Experimenting, trying all sorts of things. Some I think are good, some terrible. Been cold decked pretty good but am enjoying my poker a lot.



some big bluffs:

Vs nitty reg, Don't believe he ever 3bets TT here, maaaaybe T9s but has only 2 combos. I think OB good here since lot of stuff I'm gonna just turn into bluffs compared to Tx.



Vs a reg with a rather high 4b ratio and a fish cold calling, thought if EVER could be a spot for a resteal... but no. With our stack depth being awkward might be better as a flat tbh. I don't mind jamming this pf but ugh.








I like to think of my hand as a draw here really. Don't think reg 3bets deep wide enough from these positions to protect ranges here so felt pretty good about sticking it in. low straight is same as nut straight vs this guy, think id jam TTT as well too.



Think I can probably just let these ones go and fold pre... Reg had very low fold to 3bet, high 4b range.... I hate his turn sizing. Nice river to bink.

Play wise feel pretty good about month. Few spews here and there but spent a lot of my time experimenting and putting into play a lot of theory I've been working on. No money lost really at all to being tilted either which was good. TBH feels like I've been ASS****ED this month by being cold decked over and over. Close to 20x been set over set alone. Right near end of month think I copped 4 in around 20 hands.

Not gonna post coolers (there are lots and lots). Overall probably coulda lost more this month hopefully next I see the reverse side of variance and have a huge one. Most of money lost this month vs players for me was against RECS. Hopefully good karma next month for my donations.

Started playing LIVE poker @ casino up ~3k so least there's that.

Started playing a little this month. Running pretty good. Won biggest live pot of my life last night too at crown of $1840 on 1/3 tables vs a complete asshat.



Vs very active reg, had planned to call river, think ill exploit maximum here and fold rivers and call two barrels since he doesnt seem to want to tripple bluff.

Uhhh where to begin... cold 5bet bluff, necessary: no. Do I like money: yes. Should I be doing this? No. Gigantic spew tbh, i think AK would be the only hand i should be jamming here as a bluff. wrt to the cold 5b jam, i think literally clicking it to $32 would have the same amount of fold equity and could even look scarier to most villains.

with 44 on 84558 I think these russian nitregs can show up with some 8x that x/r flop and x/c turn
although I guess they are leading river a lot as well with boats if they somehow had it

also I see that you flat a lot of 4bets in steal positions with low-medium scs. what are your thoughts on that (readless)? I do it as well but recently I've been thinking that they aren't the greatest hands to be playing 4bet pots with oop

Really depends how you think villains construct their ranges in these spots. If its air heavy with lots of ax bluffs etc calling is good. Forces them to 4b less or hsve to play a pot with offsuit trash. I flat 4b with very strong hands too.

I don't think villain has any 8x tbh except 88 and 85s. its also unlikely I have any either. I will have a lot of spades river here that can't check back. So I need to be jamming every possible boat in range here .

I think he can have stuff like A8, K8 etc. They are pretty similar to TT in that spot (although people might treat them differently I guess just because loloverpair). Think jamming is good still anyway.

Yesterday morning, was -6bi in 23minutes. Surprisingly none were from 3barrel bluffs. Chilled out and got unstuck (almost).

Went and played 1/3 at crown again had the biggest win of my life. +2509 profit. Had close to 3k on the table. Been really enjoying playing live. Not even close to as scummy as I thought it would be.

From reading a lot of the posts on the forums here you'd think that every table has angle-shooters, guys who try and correct the play of weaker players, and people begging for money.

However the reality is that the majority of people you find at casino tables, whilst being losing players, are going to play within the 'spirit' of the game, be happy with however other people are playing, and also be able to afford to lose the money they have in front of them. Obviously there are exceptions, but these scummier people are generally quite poor players. Additionally, the angle-shooters generally turn their hand face-up with their moves (sometimes literally), and as such make it easy to play against them. Good table talk can deal with those berating losing players, and simply being aware of the game can deal with the people who can't afford to lose the money in front of them (which they were losing anyway).

By the way, 3 handed mix games are great if you run good :P

I think this is a very accurate honest description of state of games. I've met some really interesting people from all walks of life so far. Think a lot of people forget that live poker is a real social game and you can learn a lot about people if you take the time to ask. I'm well aware the way I play poker live often gets people angry and frustrated and I try to do nothing to inflame it.

Vs rec think only two real options here and XB flop and smallball or trippel barrel bomb board on blanks too. So many combo draws/hands that villain gets that have to fold river to a bomb.

2plus2er I have no real HH with. I got owned pretty good. Stackadonk line always intresting here. In terms of bluffs we can range him JT type hands/blockers. seems a lot more like value here esp with very little history. kudos if it's a bluff.

last hand is pretty interesting, his line is pretty weird given you block QQ and I assume most reg just b/b/b with 99/66.
but it's just hard to assign him with bluffs on this rainbow board.
kinda of feel you need to call with your hand given your lol image, which I assume you probably peel most of your OE/Gutters with BDF and probably always looking to to bluff on some runout when checked to.
But then it gets confusing as it's Co vs UTG which you probably either fold/3bet hands like 78s/T8s.

life is good Had a little time off to go on holidays around aus (Uluru, Great Ocean Rd).

Last month played pretty terrible. Actually plain terrible. Did try changing a lot of things that didn't work so good or more that I tried to implement too many things at once and ended up dumping $$$. Frustrating month also had some pretty rare passive tilt happening too.


Kinda also may have lost more sets in 3b/4b pots than I won
