Basically creating this thread for myself, as I am going to update this every time I play Million or Warmup. You are welcome to follow along. Updates would not be a lot, since I mostly play Sundays. I will post interesting hands etc.

I am averagely moderate poker player, if even that is an adjective :-)

I am making this to make sure I can focus on winning Sunday Million/Warm Up in the coming times.

I sell for both games in the MP. So one of the sub Goals would be to:

A. Be able to keep as much as I can for myself in the coming future.

Bankroll at the moment is small as I moved into a house and have some real life expenses to take care off.

But here I am , to try and find out the answer for the thread title.

in large field tournaments such as the sunday millions, only top top players can win imo

~that's a big lie lie bro, in tournments like that you need luck, ok in the begining you play deep and post flop players can have vantages but win a tournment with so may people doesn't mean nothing about the skills...

Sense of irony is strong here.

Not much to write since did not play Sunday Milly and ran kind of bad in other games.

Did win a small tourney to stay afloat, the bubble rush

I might not have updated this thread, but I am still holding the universal vibes to get me to
take my shots at winning the Million.

After some moderate runs, had a outright win in the Big 11 before the new year and had a 3rd in Big 55, also came 2nd in a Party event.

Little bit of study session did help.

So rejuvenating the universal vibes, will try and play the milly this weekend.

Been a while since last update...been playing sundays for the most part and very little volume in between.

Played the Milly twice and fell 1010<QQ in the 3rd hour, 4 bet jammed against aggro 3 bett'r..

And then last week, fell shy of cash bust in 4th hour AK<AJ

Had an outright win in Big 16.5 to save the day and a few other deep's.

Will be playing most likely this Sunday.

In the mean time since have not been playing regular sunday sessions was a sweet session to win the Mini Tuesday, 4 tabling at start and single tabling last 8 hours or so.

Long time for a win to come by, but sure feels good..



Was a tough FT with avg stack being above 50 bigs

OP does not know the definiton of moderately average. The moderately average poker player is breakeven at best.

To answer the question yes of course they can. Don't you remember I7AXA the guy who came 2nd and then donked it all off playing $5000 headsup hypers. Also I dont think petesgotaces was known as an amazing player before he won the sunday mill. He was an $10 mtt grinder.

Have not updated this in a while but went into a small downturn, made a few final tables.. Big 22, won the 27 psko, and back to back seconds in Hot/Hotter 3.3 to bring us back somewhat.. Have had some mind numbing 10-15th in last few weeks..



Going to work a bit this year on the game to have a better year

The most important part I am realising after Mental game upliftment is Game selection provided brm is okay.

Will see what 2018 has to offer, volume will be less in first 3 months... Definitely will take more aims at Milly ball, if it stays at that, that is..

So played the Winter Series main event and got the closest run so far in the 215 Milly category, 91st...

2018 is the year where I aim a little harder on the 109 and 215 category and overall try and play higher abi

Mini ST has got to be my favorite tourney at the moment. Ended up getting a second in it yesterday. Was close to the win but then this happened.

Was pretty good to hold our own against a tough field where there were 3-4 folks with over a 100k score.

Big one tomorrow. It will be basically a minefield, and for some one to plow through that and get to second day would require a lot of focus and A game and some luck.
