Even when i get out of it, i will be very thankful to her for helping me in the way she can and emotionaly, but we both know we won't make the same mistake and we will not change our lifestyles at all, we will keep this $100 a month apartment which i will take pics of later today and live cheap by only spending what we need and try to keep below $500 a month. So my liferoll can grow much quicker.
I learned a lot in the last weeks, believe me. Never want this feeling again of feeling so miserable.

LOL nice trolling.
No man our lives and dreams are on the line here.
If i get a stake, it would help me out for sure and i can move up. I believe i can beat anything up to $20-30 in the regular and turbo format sng's, hyper i dont know as i never played higher than $1.5 but im confident i can beat higher for sure. I like the hyper format a lot so far.
Btw i have holdem manager 1
tableninja 1
Xbox 360 controller with xpadder
Sitngo wizard, wish i could try out icmizer but can't afford it right now and have to wait for later.
Wizard defintely helped me a lot, but i don't just look at wizard/nash and play that way, have to adjust those ranges from the information i have, taking -Ev spots or some spots where i need a bigger edge.

I play stacked and put tables aside when i reach HU or sometime at the bubble. I sometime use mouse, sometime xbox controller.

I used to take a lot of notes of my opponents, but the games i play now, it doesn't matter that much coz of the high field of different players, i only see the same regulars 1 or 2 at the tables and they just play abc and showing a low ROI like 1-3%.

Good luck all today !

Interesting. What signs of "plugging life leaks" have you seen from the thread starter? His mentality has remained pretty much the same.

Overall this has been a pretty interesting experiment--a young man putting his life on the line to play poker. To the Thai girl it's practically a godsend. A guy from a first world country, probably with parents w/ money, comes out of nowhere and buys her stuff and toils in poverty to spend money on her.

To those donating, you should at least get some sort of feedback/progress reports to see how things turn out.

It wasn't even a troll man, it should be a genuine concern for anyone reading this thread.

Second reg flag are your ridiculous statements on not being able to afford ICM software, you don't just play wizard/nash and how you used to take notes?

- Get ICM software if you want to beat hypers
- Learn Nash ranges first and start adjusting from there
- And take notes on everyone and their grandmothers

My advice would be to move back to Belgium and beg your parents to let you live rentfree with them for a while. Pray Awice will actually come through in the coaching department and learn how to beat 30s and 60s before going back to Thailand. You dont want to be that 30 year old broke western guy, 1 kid, 1 on the way, no skills and no way to pay the bills.

Get the f*ck off 2p2 and actually start grinding/studying, rinse/repeat.

For all the other idiot dreamers in this thread who think I need to get off his back: get f*cked, life is hard, deal with it.

*EDIT*

No one noticed AlexNorge pointing out that the date on the family picture he posted was from 2012 and how it's very likely a fake picture?

I also supported his ideas, but I dont think he is in the best position do execute them successfully in his current situation. He does not even have the guts to call his parents for money, how much more busto does he need to be, hes got $125 on his persons.

The scary thing is people are saying "yeah go for it, do it". If it had a bit more capital like $1-2k I would say yes go for it too,as least he can feed himself for the next 2 months or so. He is obviously clueless about life, if he fails here god knows what it will do to his self-esteem, may even fall into depression/suicide (worst case).

If you dont want to tell your parent the truth, just tell them your account got hacked or your wallet got robed and you need $2,000 to tie you over.

I think TS made up his mind already. The more people say no, the more determined he will become. At any rate, let's see how this pans out.

Predictions:
- gf becomes pregnant
- more poverty

Any updates on Sit-n-go/hypers results??

Lol, i have icm software and know my nash ranges pretty good. I have icm software since i started with poker.
I agree i should spend more time on the tables now, i've been studying on the side for now since alex helped me. I will get back to the tables now.

And lol about the picture, i have tons of other pictures from that same age.

Honestly this is not that far off from my story and it turned out alright for me (About the same age at the time also). At my low point I was completely busto, quit poker and started to write articles for money while living in Laos. A year or so after this I started programming again and making decent money (I did a lot of programming in my teenage years). My girlfriend never thought about leaving me and didn't care when we had only a few hundred dollars a month to live off.

I'm not saying this is a setup for success, but I don't think OP is doomed to fail per se.

^do you freelance programming?

OP do you have any other skills other than poker were you could earn money online? Would be a sensible idea to exhaust all areas. Also look into basic maths tuition or IT skills for local Thais, assuming you wont call home for help and can teach these or other subjects. You could join my free webcams were people will pay you money to do stuff or start a blog like me, passively they will earn me appox $1,500-2k a year if done correctly.

Not saying any of these are for you, but its good to have more than one door open. Put an add on craigslist to teach the Belgium language etc.

Yes I do.

I agree OP should find something (anything) really to make a baseline amount to live on. Microstakes poker to pay for food is way too stressful and not very rewarding either.

IT and design are good areas to look into for freelancing. You can learn a few basic things pretty fast that can make you some money in small jobs, even without too much experience. Check out sites like odesk and freelancer.com and see if there is anything in demand that matches your skillset.

I'm not going to say you're right or wrong OP, but please for the love of being hugely life +EV DO NOT SELL ANYTHING YOU GET THE GIRL. I don't know why everyone is telling you to sell things you get for her, but it's plain the wrong choice. She'll say she's ok with it, but deep down she will not like it at all and it could cause for some problems down the road. Of course, you shouldn't have bought her these lavish gifts to begin with, but once you do don't make a second mistake by selling them.

I took a chance OP. When I was 19, I was in college and, for all intensive purposes, living on my own. I was attending the largest university in my nation in their honors program. I had it. I took a chance because I thought I was smarter than everyone. I ignored life and went with my dream of playing poker professionally by starting off at 10nl. It was fun back then, parties and drinking and girls and freedom.

Fast forward 6 months later, I was completely busto. I couldn't afford a cell phone, I had to move back home, I was kicked out of the university because I neglected my classes, and I didn't have any girls. I was young and dumb and finally went to my mom (and grandmother) for help. 3 years later, here I am with my first college degree working on a second, a steady girl, life savings that are greater than any monetary amount I had previous had in 20 years, and a position in my company that is highest I can achieve without being in management.

The moral of this story is to just take your chance. Go ahead, take it and run with it. Just don't be stupid about it and keep all options open. And if you fail, go back home. And for the love of god do not sell anything you bought this girl...just don't buy her any more gifts until you can comfortably afford it.

That wasn't even close to what I was trying to do you need to hang out more in bbv @OP: don't piss away the chance you're getting now with all the money flowing your way and time spent by Awice on your game.

Now on with business: post more pics of sister from this side of the Y2K!
