I agree i was horrible with money management. I know that and learned from that already.

I will take that 2% chance. You are wrong for most part and then calling him out is just low to do and is probably out of jealousy as he is the best of the world. Which is a dream for any sitngo player to have some words of coaching from him and willing to help my game. I listen to everything Alex tells me and will follow the advice and coaching he gives to me to the max.

Yes i have been saving on everything i can for past months, only cheap street food, street water, saving on gas and just everything that we can, she helps me a lot as she knows many places that are cheaper than others. We not spend anything on what we did not need. This is how i could still manage to survive with the little liferoll i have.

I am not questioning the love between you too, but it obscuring your judgement on everything. You are a westerner ( I assume) and you have less money than the average Thai. This should be ringing HUGE ALARM bells. You dont even have a months worth of living costs, even Macklemore has more in his pocket.

Your job is playing poker at the lowest levels possible, you dont have a bank roll. Its not like if poker fails you cant go and get a job in Thailand. You have no saftey net. Do your parents know of your situation? for god sake at least call them asking for $1-2k if you plan on staying here.

And I didnt call Alex out, if I did he would know about it. I dont know who he is in poker but apparently he is somebody judging by the pathetic nut huggers quoting his replies. Based on these assumptions I am going to assume Alex is a smart guy, and although what he is doing is very unselfish and very helpful thing in offering to coach you, he should realize that what he says has a great impact on you judging by your reply to his post and your latest comment. He should be advising you to go home and save some more money/ask your parents for help rather then coaching you as a primary option.

From reading all your posts you have no sense at all, and almost everything you have done was not the optimal play in life. The truth hurts but you need to get home at least for the short term and gather some more money and create a plan for your future, weather that's with your gf in Thailand or not.


I wish anyone the best of luck moving to thailand playing Micro stakes and having a good lifestyle, but there are so many variables in your situation which can turn bad and your pretty much ****ed. Given your situation all roads point to going home or at least calling your parents, your track record on your life given what you have posted in this thread shows us that you are not smart or old enough to be living independently. Go home, save some money, read some books and set yourself future goals for coming back here.

What are your goals for the next 3months?
Have you looked any other avenues for work in Thailand? (weekend camps I know pay 1000baht per day)
How bad do things have to get before you call your parents and tell them what is happening?

you should AT THE VERY LEAST get your gf to sell her iphone and her motorbike to free up some capital and least that will get you through the 2-3 month or so, see how she responds too that.

I wasn't in Thailand, but I took a shot and never looked back. Trying to offer him anything but support is out of line and disrespectful. Offer his some encouragement or just stay quiet. Pretty simple.

I was in a similar situation 6 month's ago, had a $400 roll playing $2.50 180's with a little over a month's rent+living in the bank. i got offered a stake to play a lot higher, took it and haven't looked back. gl OP.

Sounds like you are living your life the way you want to. Just be careful spending so much money on gifts. Those are such high price items when your bankroll is so low. If playing hypers for a living and no other funds saved you should probably have at least 1,000 buyins. Keep us updated, I wouldn't mind sending a few bucks. Good luck dude!

Dude the guy is right. Of course he could just stay and see how things turn out, but failing can have some serious emotional consequences for him, plus there are a lot of ugly ways this can turn out. I rather see more well written lengthy posts trying to inject OP with some logic about what he is doing is wrong, than more "gl u da man" one liners that just fuel this madness.

First of all, i did never expect to get some donations from making this thread. But after people were willing to help me this way, i just have to put my proud on the side and accept that help, it could save my dream.

I take a shot and it's not over yet. I have some stuff to sell if it's get even worse, but i doubt it will get worse, but i will start with selling the macbook today or tomorrow as my gf knows a place.
I never busted my pokeroll, never, not even close. I never tilt, i never gamble, i only play the games i know i beat. Which is 9man sng's and 6man sng's in regular/turbo and hyper format.

My liferoll is a different story as u know. I know that by know and would never go back this way down.
