I haven't played any live here, there are a tournament couple series that are apparently worth it, but from what i've heard about day to day cash games is they only run like 1/2e or something, so not really worth leaving the house.



Grindhouse is cool, like i said in the OP it's in a great location and the apartment itself is v good for the price point. Also of course living with other poker players is a huge advantage compared to living alone in a 1br somewhere, you talk regularly about poker, send each other hands, settle arguments via PIO ect... also being in Malta you'll run into some other players eventually.

CFP program is growing pretty well, we're overhauling the microstakes product, adding more resources as well as taking some steps to ensure they are able to move up stakes freely and quickly, and our low-midstakes product has also improved, the coaching approach has been improved / refined.

The coaches are in contact with each other so that each student has their individual needs catered to in coaching, even if they don't have the same coach every session.

We do a bunch of things, general HH or footage review to try to spot inconsistencies or leaks, then once we've identified the problems we can isolate and focus more intensely on that topic, either in 1o1 coaching or by making some general theory content if it's a more common problem among students.

Went to an outdoor music festival last weekend, being the worlds noobiest blogger my phone was dead 20min after arriving. The music wasn't really my thing, but it was still pretty fun/interesting, only 1 picture but gives an idea of how it was decorated i guess.




Maltese elections were this past week, since it was announced on the 3rd the streets have been filled with people/ car parades. M#%$#*uckers start honking/celebrating at like 7am and go all day, saturday is the official celebration i guess.. and it's not like a couple playful honks, it's dozens of people all laying on their horns at once, playing air raid sirens through megaphones, just w/e loud noise they can make











think i've gotten a mild case of tinnitus from the past few days just walking around

Everything's been cool.. Starting to get hot, played some volleyball for the first time, will probably start going in the sea regularly.. Excited to play a bunch of hands as well....not a fan of the heat that's coming so just going to hide in my apt.

Went to Casino Malta to check out the cash game festival, didn't go at a great time and was pretty tired so didn't play anything.. saw a ~60 yo whale wearing beats try to death stare soul read showofforce.. overall the room seemed fine to play in if good games run..

Went to the isle of MTV or w/e it's called on Tuesday to catch the headliners, it was okay. Good excuse to hang around outside for a few hours though.

Cool thread; I also went to the Festival there. Thought games were pretty meh Thursday, but picked up a lot on Friday and Saturday. I was the drunk british guy who prob didnt stfu all festival (sorry )
