Fun past week, it was Carnival here in Malta but unfortunately the weather cancelled most of the events. Still made it out to Valletta for one day of it with a couple friends

Past couple of weeks have been fun, had a friend in Malta until a few days ago, finished up her erasmus semester and was hanging out until returning home. She went to Sicily for a few days and then wrapped it up here in Malta.

Also discovered a chicken/duck/goose village in Sliema, there are like 4-5 of these things next to each other, they look delicious



Also lately we've been taking flipping a bit too far, i think we have a problem. It's gone beyond just dinner/drinks ect.. we've started flipping for nonsense, last time alone these were the non monetary ones.

-Grabbing a strangers drinks off their table and drinking it
-Grabbing cleaner / a rag and cleaning someones tables while they are still sitting there
-Dance on a table
-Do a striptease on a chair in the middle of the bar

Probably even a couple things i forgot / repressed from memory.

Piece de resistance was the fifa prop bet. My flatmate vs one of the guys in the other flat. Accrington Stanley vs Real Madrid at 5:1.

After a couple weeks of **** talking we finally got it scheduled

Decided afterwards it would be more fun to make him take us all out to dinner than pay the bet, he'll get a slight discount and we all get a nice meal so win-win.

I received a pet snail in my cilantro, had to explain to the house cleaner to clean around my pet snail, she was not entertained.



Finally, friend drunk purchased some ice cream on the walk back, didn't grab a spoon. 4 minute debate about whether or not the store has a spoon yields no results and him squeezing the ice cream out of the carton like the worlds largest push pop.. store owner comes near the end of the ice cream holding a spoon looking confused by the mangled carton.

When i see him go back and explain the sight to another co-worker, the co-worker looks at us like we are sub-human.. it'sokayweplaypoker : |

Hi, going to be visiting Malta for a holiday mainly but would like to play some cash games while I'm there. Could you recommend a good location so I had a choice of venues not too far from me.

Stay in Sliema/St. Julians/Paceville - you won't be too far from casinos. Probably the most popular poker room is Portomaso - a few 1/2 tables should run each day, sometimes a PLO table pops up.

I would update more often but to be honest there are tons of things i dont really want to post / dont know if i can or should post, especially the stuff that involves other people. I can always change names ect.. but kind of pointless to post pics if i have to MS paint everyones faces out : /


Only real notable thing of late is that maybe one of our friends got caught by his gf when he was walking back to his flat with another girl we met at he bar, from what i can tell his nuts are still attached to his body tho.


As far as poker goes, im more of an underground tetris player, that's where the real money is.
Will start playing more this month ideally, plan for the summer is to plan 1-2 short trips somewhere but other than that just grind my balls off since most of my friends are/will be gone. Teeny-tiny chance i do some streaming this summer just to see if i have any fun doing it, cant imagine it would be more than a couple hours a week though tbh.

Went to the Dingli cliffs, tbh felt like a waste of time. I mean it looks cool but it takes like an hour to get there, you look over the cliff for 5 min, say "well that's nice" and then head home.



On the way back from dingleberry cliffs i stopped in Mdina, was actually really cool and i would recommend it to anyone visiting malta. I forgot to take pictures until i was on my way out tho ><

What a bad day of spins will do to you

Hola, been a bit so figure i should try to post something. Not too much has happened, flatmates are back home until after the wsop or traveling for the summer, so shenanigans have slowed down for a bit. Still a few peeps left in Malta though, summer will be pretty scarce but i have stuff to do anyway and i wilt in the heat so i'll be on #teamstayinside.

My sleeping schedule has been disgusting, i've been going to bed at like 9-11am and waking up at like 5-7pm.. like when i wake up do i eat eggs? or have pasta and then have my breakfast food at 8am before i go to sleep, i have no idea anymore.

Going to experiment with a 2 phase sleep schedule, like 2x4 or a 4+2 hour sleeping schedule so i can still have my productive hours between 11-7am when i prefer to work but without being a cave troll, im one of those lucky ppl that can easily get by on 6 hours, but my circadian rhythm / having to black out my room is so fk'd ive been sleeping way longer and feeling kind of bad when i first wake up. So that's on the list of things to fix this week.

Indeed they are. Applies to Casino Malta, Portomaso, Dragonara & Oracle.

Fields usually between 30-70/80 regs in general but obv. with some differences sometimes.

Yes, im still in Malta. I'm no longer working with BTS though and sadly a lot of people left Malta in the last 6-8 months.

I got a new place with one of my flatmates from last year + a BTS student + another guy who was in Malta last year as well.

Last year was actually a pretty ****e year for me although I had fun. A few
ridiculously unfortunate events + I royally ****ed up some personal matters that need to be mended.

Im looking forward to making progress on things i messed up or neglected, having these things on my mind is a massive source of anxiety to the point it messes with my productivity. I got some great news a few months ago and am waiting for a couple things to come through that will really help set that all in motion with some decent momentum.

That being said, it's not all doom and gloom, poker is still borderline thriving imo and there will still be plenty of shenanigans to come. I'll consider creating a new blog after this month I think, wont be poker related bc there are just way more interesting poker blogs already out there. Prob just some funny stories/travel or whatever I think will give someone a laugh.

I used to play poker long time ago, and would like to get to talking about it with a regular group again, was a time I had a load of poker friends. Now only poker people I meet are in the casino and they are not gaining anything by giving me advice or tips.

Where is the best place to meet like minded people to discuss, is there a meetup type thing or what?

honestly, internet. Probably just join some of the more general skype groups, then find some like minded people and move from there. It's what pretty much everyone did imo
