Hi everyone, I'm a 26 French MTT player who have decided to give a shot to poker playing "fulltime", I moved in Bangkok to focus, play on .com, and see another country.
Interesting thing is that I broke myself after a 3 downswing months in France just before leaving, giving to the shot a more exciting side I guess.
Well, I suppose it was a merge of overconfidence/badrun and bad table selection, but still.

Anyway, I'm going to rebuild, starting with 50$ on ps.com and 50€ on winamax, ready to deposit if I need to. Based on what I learnt in past, I'll focus mainly on deep FR MTT and try to avoid SH and Turbo's one.
I'll try to update this blog/thread around 2 times a week.

Sorry about English mistakes in my post, feel free to correct me if something really needs to be

My results so far, I use 2 computers so datas aren't the same.

Very few tournaments this week, mainly because of new year. I also only went once to gym. I basically try to go 3 or 4 times a week.
I guess it's the same for most of people at this period though.
I maybe had a lack of motivation due the movedown I had to do, my average BI that was around 13$ is now around 3$. Have to deal with it.

Therefore, I'm positive in $ so not a bad thing. I tried to focus mainly on deepstack MTT as I said before and so far I really feel better during my grind session, the edge you have playing postflop is damn so important, it gives me much more confidence in my game. Also won around 250$ in live cash game.

New Year in Bangkok was pretty crazy, all the clubs were just overcrowded though. The next days I figured out that a lot of people living in Bangkok went to other parts of Thailand to see their relatives/family, that's a cool thing when you want to take the MRT or a cab between 5pm and 9pm.

Just discovered Anthony Robbins, his speechs are inspiring.

Thank you man, appreciate.

I spent one year in Japan before for univ. and it was a great experience. Actually I'd say I feel pretty good in Asian countries.
I wanted to try a new "travel" so I've decided to go in Thailand after hesitating with Vietnam and Philippins.
Moreover I'm not really a winter person so that's the perfect time to try.
I play as a hobby for 3 years now and more seriously for 1 year. I don't have something that I'd call a plan in mind but get back to a 13$ average would be a good thing first
Concerning study, I mainly watch MTT videos on RIO, I watched a lot of Jason Koon's video even if most of them are getting old, James Obst, rly appreciate Akira Ohyama as well. Recently I started to watch a lot of tonkaaap twich, this guy is nuts.
I've been coached for a while too, it improved my game a lot and made me aware of many of my leaks.
If you have any advice about video's pros or study stuff tell me !

Still just a few tournaments this week but I spent dozens of hours playing live cash game. A good week though, $ speaking.

There are Winamax Series this week so I plan to play everyday. The huge fields of these tournaments make them difficult but the average level is so low that it would be a terrible mistake to not play.)
I also played some turbos even if I said I wouldn't, not a good thing.

As I said, I went to Koh Chang for 2 days, with the traffic and the ferry it actually took 6 hours to go instead of 3 so I maybe should plan a longer trip next time. It's my first experience about Thai island and it was a blast, the atmosphere is really chilly, perfect to take a break, rent a bike, and walk along the beaches. No sun during these days tho.
I'm in such a good mood now to focus, and grind more.

I'm going to Laos tomorrow morning after my grind session to get a new visa.
I booked a hotel with a supposed good internet connection to be able to grind out there, hope it will be ok.

Hi there,

Still not a lot of tournaments this week, mainly because I went to Laos for my visa running and couldn't find any good enough internet connection there, wasting 2 days of grind ~
Vientane (Laos capital) a pretty sad city for what I saw. I think next time I'm gonna do my visa running in Vietnam or Cambodge, even if it's a little more expensive.

I just figured out I only played around 100 tournaments this month... I'll try to play 250-300 by the end of the month. I'm aware it's a deplorably small volume.

Good thing is I got a 150$ ticket for the tonight Day1C Million Event on Winamax!
