Hi 2+2
Starting a new challenge to grind back my lifetime losses from poker

Started playing 4 years ago. Never beat a level higher than 2nl online, never beat higher than 1/2 live.

Most losses of that £20k come from playing 200-600pl HU or 200nl HU online.
Had some small wins in MTT's and decent runs live.

Also that loss is a rough estimate. I don't have lifetime hands and due to live winnings it could be lower.

So with that in mind it looks like I have around 0 chance completing this challenge

I'll be playing 50-400NL, mostly zoom, and moving higher if I show a good win rate over a decent sample. Current bankroll is > 100k. Will most likely be playing live at least once a week also.

Any coaches who can prove to still be winning at these stakes feel free to pm me.

I'll post updates as often as possible but due to work I can't guarantee a lot of volume.

Today's first session looks like this:

Most of the volume is at 100NL zoom. Accidently sat at a 400 PLHE table and won 36 BB lol

I'll post hands once I do a review of them.

Couple of hands from that session.

1)

iPoker - €1 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 241.68 BB (VPIP: 20.37, PFR: 13.21, 3Bet Preflop: 4.17, Hands: 54)
Hero (BB): 105.3 BB
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 30.77, PFR: 26.92, 3Bet Preflop: 18.18, Hands: 26)
BTN: 190.1 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 8)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9 9

fold, fold, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, SB calls 6 BB

Flop: (18 BB, 2 players) 3 6 T
SB checks, Hero bets 12.6 BB, SB calls 12.6 BB

Turn: (43.2 BB, 2 players) 8
SB checks, Hero bets 30.24 BB, SB raises to 133.92 BB, Hero calls 53.46 BB

River: (210.6 BB, 2 players) 6

SB shows 8 8 (Full House, Eights full of Sixes)
(Pre 18%, Flop 8%, Turn 86%)
Hero mucks 9 9 (Two Pair, Nines and Sixes)
(Pre 82%, Flop 92%, Turn 14%)
SB wins 258.82 BB

Played this bad. Just thought when I get re-raised I have a lot in the pot, getting 3/1.

2)

iPoker - €1 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 101.2 BB
BB: 115.51 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 6)
CO: 115.84 BB (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 33.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)
BTN: 74.22 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 6)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K K

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB raises to 8 BB, Hero raises to 17 BB, BB calls 9 BB

Flop: (34 BB, 2 players) 2 6 5
Hero bets 34 BB, BB raises to 98.51 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 50.2 BB

Turn: (202.4 BB, 2 players) K

River: (202.4 BB, 2 players) J

Hero mucks K K (Three of a Kind, Kings)
(Pre 80%, Flop 3%, Turn 23%)
BB shows 3 4 (Straight, Six High)
(Pre 20%, Flop 97%, Turn 77%)
BB wins 214.71 BB

Probably should have 4 bet more pre. But thought I'd get more value by keeping him in. On flop I thought he could have worse here, smaller over pair, flush draw. Didn't expect the exact hand he had. Too good for me

3)

Not had much time to commit to this recently due to work.
That hasn't stopped me donking when bored.

I did get my lifetime hand histories from PokerStars.

Here's lifetime NLHE:

And Lifetime NLHE MTT:

Damn $100 spin & go's

This doesn't show any PLO hands as I haven't upgraded PT4 to support PLO.
I'd estimate there's probably an extra $5k lost at PLO thanks to playing HU $5/$10

Then there's other sites which you could probably add $5k max onto.

I'll try and resume the challenge over the next week.
However I think that I need to do a lot more studying and start at much lower stakes.
