Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right spot or not but I’ve decided to document my journey on approaching the poker “””””””long run”””” here. As a sprouting new player in the game of variance known as poker I used to monkey tilt when I would get my money in on coin flips and lose. I used to think myself, “this is a 50/50 surely I should win at some point, and as long as I have the pot odds/fold equity I should call/aggressively jam to collect the dead money”. However, the two faced coin never seemed to show the other face.

After losing flip after flip I started to become a veteran poker player. Studying here on two plus two and using equilab I learned that over time I started getting my money in as a 2.5:1 favorite, a 3:1 favorite and even a 4:1 favorite as of late. Over time I’ve rarely gotten my money in as the dog as I’ve recorded my progress. While my sklansky dollar roll has increased substantially my bankroll has nose dived straight into the red.
Join me and let’s see how long we can keep the run bad going.
