It's simple yet very complicated. Grind a $40 deposit into $2,000 by the end of 2016. This won't be a "hero goal" thread about turning $50 into 5 million in 6 months or anything like that. This will focus on a more realistic short term goal. Especially one that U.S. Players who only got the platform of Bovada to grind in can relate to. This won't be a "unicorn fairytale" thread on how I "dropped college" to focus on the dark and exhausting game that poker is. No! This is a thread that will focus on building the platform for a long-term goal.

As American poker players, some of us understand that not only are the games turning more difficult do to the expansion of poker knowledge; but we are falling behind like dust on a shooting star that only seems to leave us behind to settle down on the grounds of sites like Bovada. Yet, we are known for being fighters and dreamers alike. This thread will not focus on the rockstar, successful, independent poker we want (not yet); however, it will focus on the penny grind that will eventually build the stepping stones to a larger goal.

Who am I as a person and a poker player? I'm just a simple poker degen who loves the game, yet needs a lot more to learn from. A simple man who lives a simple life, yet who has an incredible hunger and desire to improve in both poker and life.

Also, take this challenge as a way to inspire other U.S. Players to grind and learn from the game. Who knows, we might discover new challenges through this short term goal.

I will post results on a weekly basis and explain more about this challenge. I will also go to this thread to seek strategical help on improving and making this challenge a success. I also encourage others to get motivated and build short term goals that are realistic.

GL as well. I'll be following your thread closely too and see how far you make it. Although the dream you have is very tough, never allow anybody to tell you what to do. Even if the outcome is +EV or -EV, the idea of not quitting is satisfying. I myself am doing this challenge for fun and to learn.
