grind 3,000 plo8 sngs and O8 MTTs by Dec 31st.
$10,000 Target Profit
Detach everything and make best decision you can and just relax, your 70/30% or range cooler does not the universe make.
Leave all the money on the machine until the goal is complete, It will be an exercise in mental toughness to watch the money grow and not play Blackjack/Bet NFL, or take dumb or tilted poker shots with. I have to stare the devil in the face if I want to beat it once and for all.
I will break the Updates into 30 game sets, so first update coming in 30 games.

Subbing out of curiosity mostly (will probably do my share of donating as well) as the 08 seems to really dry up around midnight CST so want to see how you reach the volume goal. Maybe you play earlier in the day? Anyway good luck with this next grind!

hey GreyBeard usually play 6:30-12:00 Pacific and then on weekends churn out the volume, but it is a pretty ambitious goal, so not sure if I can get there.. but we shall see.

I forgot what a grind it is, was getting upset by beats, playing like ego boss in limit o8 tourney, needling the fish.. lucksacked a 3rd in a NLHE ament for small win.

not even one percent there, lots of miles to run, be back tomorrow, play better and with more control then.

Just finished second session and it went a lot better, 15 Games +$351.17 won the $11 turbo plo8 ament for $160 and 3rd in $16.50 plo turbo for $240... busted in annoying spot in PlO when KJ104>AA109 on q73410 runout.. sucked out many times to get there though so have to let the beat roll just off.

Felt more in control and detached than night before.... just keep making the right decisions and if I keep doing that I will have more paper money... running well doesn't hurt of course .

dont worry i'm the same when it comes to this sort of stuff..

its a struggle..getting a bit better but i stopped documenting the experience just so i dont feel like im setting up for failure..now i just focus on playing better and hope for the best the next session. at least now i dont have to focus on updating a thread and have to worry about posting good or bad updates.

just treating it a a hobby and if it picks up in the future well thats awesome.

got right back on the saddle deposited $70 and won nightly $22 plo8ament so got account back up to $480... .. can always make money from this game if I play O8.. just embrace what you are, don't run from it...

decent little bounce back sesh, +$390 playing MTT got second in nightly o8 ament and 4th in $7 plo and 2nd Turbo nhle knockout.. got stuck early and dug down and didn't really feel much of anything whole session which was nice..

Well, hope you're not betting on the 49ers next Sunday... Props to you on the MTT session. Those things are such a grind so it's nice to see you come out way ahead.

Thanks for props on MTT session, I do run very well in Omaha tourneys lol.. had chances in all of the ones I busted also.. deck rewards me if I do the right thing.. but punishes me to the max when I am lazy .

think I will try another $300 MTT session tonight. goal is to feel nothing and keep showing them the wheeel...

played few MTT but in deranged gambler mode and didn't make anything happen.. won $50 hyper turbo pl8 sng to chase back pretty much all the losses so just minus $25 overall..

gonna just go with flow month.. no real goals.. work is getting busier and tough to unwind by going into nit hiding hole... so just focus on MTTs and trust read and if i die and I die, and find buddies to bet with and stop paying all that juice to Bovada.... and keep poker money sacred.

been betting $100 a game with Boss and stuck $550 to him but much better to lose in that spot than to Bovada where that means nothing.. at work at least it buys me 2 hour lunches and frequent bowl breaks...

so October goals

1) Play MTT when I feel like playing
2) only gamble offline on the NFL
3) Trust Read/ instinct 100% don't second guess myself and take best line always, your current mindset is not an excuse.
4) Wait until October 31st to cash out.

thanks Omaha8, I have been playing more cash and a few MTT sprinkled in, but not a ton of volume.. also been clicking those NFL bets pretty hard.. have about $1100 spread out on Sunday.

Think I have to get back in the swing of things, because work seems unsustainable. so I will start up a new challenge on Monday Night after the football games with whatever is left of bankroll after Sunday

been awhile since I have posted, been playing almost every night and doing pretty well, while still not super focused.

won $22 plo8 turbo for $350 tonight which feels good, came back from 750 chips when average was 20K. Proud of myself because I have been playing very fearlessly and detached while somewhat restrained when playing Poker. Just try to imagine how a great player would process a given spot and proceed accordingly, and if you are wrong you are wrong, forgive yourself for your mistakes and always adapt.

Got a cashout through for $1500ish and ran remaing $450 back up to $1500ish, so nice to have some money in pocket from cubbyhole and more room to attack on Bovada.

Key is to keep trusting your process and not feeling a goddman thing.

Almost 3 months Blackjack free and haven't even felt urge to go back there in awhile. only way they can bust me is if I bust myself and I have done that for long enough. can't wait to see how mentally tough I am three years Blackjack Free.
