I have started this journal to keep track of my progress, starting at NL2 (Poker Stars) and my goal is to become a decent cashgame player.
Background:
I am 21 years old and living in Sweden.
In late 2014 I started playing poker for the first time online, played very intensively for 4-5 months but then decided to quit due to lack of fun which when I look back at it was more of a bad bankroll management problem.
I donīt strive for having poker as my main job, I like my current job very much, it is very flexible and gives me an ability to work on my poker game too.
Rules for my poker:
I will use 100 buy-ins for every level, starting at NL2 with $200.
I am trying to combining playing and studying and I am aware of that there is one tactics for playing NL2/NL5 versus playing higher up in the stakes.
My plan is to update this thread once a week.
Since this is the first post and donīt want it to be utterly boring this will be the end of my first week, started saturday 14th so a bit more than a week...

Hmm.
Can summarize this week pretty easy.
-Fighting too much for marginal spots.
-Tilting a bit when I lose pots I, in the moment thought I deserved to win.
-Looking to much at the results in HM2 during the sessions = stressful.
-When a few BIs down, trying to win it back = super long sessions.
-No flow at all on the vast majority on my all ins = crazy All in EV adjusted.
So what should I do to stop sucking?
-Stop playing turn & river vs passive players when I am not sure I have/can hit the best hand.
-Thinking more long term, when I lose an all in w KK v A3o, then it will profit me in the longrun. Screw the part that he sucked out that time.
-Donīt play these monster sessions without a break, split em up.
