Hey Guys,
thought I'd start my first blog ever. I decided to open a blog in order to stay motivated and writing things down is the best way foe me to stick to goals and see a steady progress curve.
I am playing profesionally since 2013 as I turned 18 back then. Since then I played mostly SnGs and MTTs but also starting playing PLO in 2014.
I played lowstakes PLO on the side to my regular grind until in Mid 2015 I got the chance to play on a really soft site where I was able to easily beat PLO400/600 straight away, unfortunately after about 4 months of printing I was forced to stopped playing there as I no longer had access to the site
As the games on the "normal" are a lot tougher, I realized that in order to beat the games at midstakes I still need to improve a lot.
This made me finish my 300k milestone at stars on SnGs as it was monetary smarter and now that I am done on stars, my goal is to focus 99% on PLO and just reg the occasional value MTT.
Heres my SNG/MTT graph from 2013 until end of 2015 on pokerstars only:
That's the only graph I will provide as I want too keep my screens on other sites anonymous.
Now to my current situation. I will start at PLO100 on mostly euro sites as I haven't played many PLO hands the past 5 months. I choose to take 10k€ as starting roll but can add/reload any time.
So here are my goals.
As I'm not a big fan of setting goals specific goals for a set period too long in advance, I will set longterm goals and then Monthly goals seperately which show my short term progress.
Long Term Poker Goals :
- Beat PLO400 6max
In order to reach that I need to:
- Maintain a good Grind/Study rate (75/25)
- Focus on quality instead of quantity so I will play max 6 Tables
- Play 120+ hours of quality poker a month
- Don't switch or play other formats until goal is reached
ONLY eception occasional Huge tourney or Live tourneys
Tha'ts all the goals I've set for poker for now.
Life Yearly Goals:
- Read 10 quality Books
- Improve knowledge in investing
- Go from 18-20% body fat to 12% then focus on gaining muscle
--> In order to reach that I need to follow a healthy diet
- Stick to workout routine during cutting and workout 2-3 times a week doing a simple whole-body workout plan
- Keep trying to improve as a person
- Enjoy life
That's it for now I will make another post now with my monthly Goals and freerolls for the first few posters
