I assume you mean the bodog hand with A2dd? wp man, I obv have a bunch of mid strength bet/folds there.

and yea im splitting volume between 200/500 on bodog and 100z. With just one or the other I can't seem to get enough volume. I like switching back and forth haha

I was just looking at your 100k hand challenge. pretty sick imo, Idk how you play 11 hour days like that haha. I get braindead at 3-4

Oh believe me I'm braindead every day right now.

River jam is pry overly optomistic on my end. A hand like QJs from you should actually be quite indifferent to calling if I'm playing well and hands like JT should be closer to calls.

my last two days have been pretty bad haha. It equates to an 8.5bi downer across all stakes so not bad at all but most of it is at 200zone where my winrate over a good sample is ~8bb/100 even after this swing so to say its uncommon to lose this much there is an understatement. ive run better during -25bi downswings on stars for sure haha

Not gonna bother with hands because I seriously havent won any or had any interesting hands (low 100z sample here) so itl just be a bad beat post. After a ~90bi upswing I think im destined to have a losing month eventually so Ill focus on just playing well and getting a good monthly hand total regardless of results!

March Month Review

another month in the books

[X]40k Hands of 100nl-500nl
[ ]100 hands/scenarios simmed in Pio - Reached about 60 though!
[ ]Finish all 5 sections of the ECGM package - nope but im just going to work on it over time
[ ]Workout 15 times (5km runs, Core & Weight workouts, hockey) - missed by about 5
[X]Drink 1500 oz of water (spread out properly, 60 oz per day)

In April Im conjoining the next 3 months kind of in one as far as goals go while Im in Brazil. They will be as follows:

Play 120k Hands of Poker in 3 months
Become as fluent as possible in Portuguese
Record 3 Coaching Videos
Spend more time on what’s important and less time wasting time or being lazy

Last one is a bit ambiguous but I plan on putting myself through a new tougher schedule full of more studying poker/portuguese and grinding while also spending more time with the gf and doing fun things where I am rather than spending too much time on the computer.

One thing I've slowly gotten into is cooking. Im pretty bad but those around me are very good so I have some help and this week ill be attempting to make Risotto hahaha. Right now my resume basically consists of Wraps and Quesadillas.

I haven't been posting here much and will probably continue that trend but Ill try to post some interesting hands from time to time and continue to do end of month results updates.

Monthly Report

Alright we're through another month so let's take a look!

I started putting in more regular volume at 400nl+ and also took some shots at 1knl that went quite well! My volume is 74% 200nl/100nl and 26% 400nl+

Hopefully within the next few months Ill be able to transition properly to switching those percents around, playing 1knl more regularly and removing 100nl (and eventually 200nl) from my grind. Im also working on removing any zoom type games from my grind on any site as I find I like regular tables much better and feel much more comfortable with my grind when playing 4-8 reg tables instead of 2-4 fast or some sort of weird mix.

[X][ ][ ]Play 120k Hands of Poker in 3 months 39k/120k down. Im rounding up so I'm on pace haha, sue me
[ ]Become as fluent as possible in Portuguese This is a tough process and I'm in the middle of changing teachers/learning strats so I'm not sure how this one will end up
[ ]Record 3 Coaching Videos I'll get to it
[X]Spend more time on what’s important and less time wasting time or being lazy So far so good on this one

Getting in some good volume so far this month!

running real good at 500nl and overall rocking an 11bb aiev thus far, and I def can't complain about the extra boost in green line run good haha

ive been crushing it on the pio study and hh review side and feel like im making solid connections on how to improve my game to the next level. I haven't quite planned out my aim for stakes in the near future but my goals will be something along the line of playing 60-75% of my volume at 400nl-1knl and the remaining at 200nl.

Currently playing some hands at 100nl in a new game/site as I look to add back up to 3-4 sites from 1-2 currently. Im looking to avoid zoom/zone games and transition to 6-8 tables of reg tables only

I played a couple $22 SCOOPs with no cashes but if I play any more it will likely be this weekend. The scheddy Im considering running would probably look like this

MTT variance scares me but I do enjoy them so getting into 14 events for a small 4 digit commitment seems worthwhile to me!

haha such a weird attack post considering I havent coached for about half a year.

also if you're going to attack somebody, at least get full results from a site that isn't broken and doesnt track zoom. at least show a full sample. as far as I can remember I think ive played somewhere in the 1m to 1.5m range on stars and am doing well in profit despite not playing much in the past couple years there.

on top of that ive shown all my recent results at the start of this thread and in my old coaching thread (now removed as Im not coaching) and can easily account for 100k-150k in profit over close to a million hands (and a thousand or so live hours) in the past 2-3 years. Thank god im not on anywhere near the kind of downswing that graph shows me on at the end haha, and in fact quite the opposite. I've been running hotter than the sun in my past 100k-200k hands.

Btw I haven't played FR on stars for about 4 years, which look to make up close to 400k hands of that sample there given the stats shown, and is made up of mostly 10nl-25nl, with a little 50nl-100nl. Yea I was pretty bad 4 years ago, you got me.

Lastly, if you're going to get coaching, shouldn't you have looked up results before paying? Not that russian ptr is even slightly accurate, but it seems silly to do the research after and then attack someone for it anonymously a year later. You likely have my skype still, feel free to voice your complaint to me personally.

Anyway, I feel a bit childish for even wasting time replying to this post since it literally meant nothing, but if you would like to reveal yourself instead of hiding behind a fake account, I'm more than happy to compare true long term results or better yet, make some sort of wager challenge

Just noticed him attacking pastorcito in his thread, one of the better msnl+ players out there right now, with more cherrypicked russian ptr stats. I can understand attacking me who may not be that good and an easy target, but why attack someone as good as pastorcito?

doubt this guy was ever coached by me as he's clearly showing all the signs of a subpar troll. will make sure the mods deal with him appropriately. Btw, attacking people's pg&c because they are likely better than you at poker is kind of pathetic. get a real hobby my friend!

End Of Month Update

Definitely happy with the monetary outcome, cant complain about running good! What I am upset about is my volume again haha. As of the 14th of this month I was on pace for 60k hands (28k) but I ended up with only 38k.

So 28k in the first half and 10k in the second half of the month is not great but it is showing more of a trend of mine, where im very motivated at the start and very unmotivated near the end. Def some mental game to work on there!

As for the second half, I did end up missing 9 full days of play due to trips and being really sick for two days. I spent a weekend at my GFs mother's place for Mothers Day and then went to a city called Curitiba in South Brazil for another 5 days (for a medical conference) where I wasn't able to grind but did have a ton of fun visiting a new city! Ill try to post pics up soon of that. Although Im pretty sure last time I said that I just completely forgot, so we'll see if I remember this time.

[/]Play 120k Hands of Poker in 3 months 83k down with 1 month left
[/]Become as fluent as possible in Portuguese Going really well! Im currently studying more and getting better

Over the last month or 2 I started adding some Stars 100nl on the side as a sort of practice in tougher games and setting myself up for grinding more reg tables on multiple sites, a plan im slowly executing over the next few months.

I haven't played much on stars since the rb cuts last year, where I was only a small winner at 200z/reg tables, but the games have gotten softer for sure and I've improved my game tenfold since then. Feeling super comfortable grinding this games and as I get set up with my new plan Ill be moving back up to 200z and likely playing reg tables at 200-600nl. Other, softer sites Ill likely try to play more 400nl-1knl but ill add 200nl where necessary

month so far has been meh.

Im actually down a few hundred overall after a couple poor 500nl sessions. Only thing going well for me has been 100z which ive been crushing. Up around 10bi in 8k hands. Played some 200z for the first time in well over a year as well which was fun!

Overall most of my volume has been going to 200nl which has been pretty lackluster! but Im currently studying my game a lot and regularly improving it, feeling great about my play and in general just happy to be on a consistent grind where the worst thing that happens is a lose a bit haha

Hey guys

gonna do a grind week challenge that I started last night!

Going to be playing 20k hands in 5 days, from mid sunday (yesterday) to mid friday. mostly 200nl reg tables but I may add some 100z as well to help speed it up.

great start so far!

no monetary goals on this. would be nice to win but whatever happens happens, just focusing on boosting my volume a little bit

ya this challenge fell flat on its face haha. got about 7k hands in instead of 20.

June Update

not a great month but I am happy with my grind., most of the losses came from a couple days and most from 500nl which I decided not to play much of this month.

Overall meh, still above 0 evbb at least and I feel like I played strong and just hit some poor variance. Definitely still seeing leaks in my game that im working on (namely mental game issues revolving around the river) and studying the game more theoretically (PIOing SRP flop spots)

The 3 month plan I posted up just wrapped up and here they are:

[x]Play 120k Hands of Poker in 3 months I got 115k but at least a few thousand were untracked so Im calling this a success
[ ]Become as fluent as possible in Portuguese I didnt put my all into this and while I did study some and improved my abilities but I'm still far from fluent
[ ]Record 3 Coaching Videos Not even one haha
[x]Spend more time on what’s important and less time wasting time or being lazy This one was successful! I definitely spent a lot of the last 3 months more productively and when I wasn't using my time to further productive ventures I was spending it with friends/fam/girlfriend and making the most out of my time!

That's all for now. might make a new post soon but for now, back to the usual
