Sup all.

I never really took bankroll management too seriously from time to time i caught myself off guard and would take stupid shots at stakes that i shouldn't be playing by being drunk or high on pot. Ive learnt the hardest way possible now, so as punishment, I will not deposit as I have $50 left over on my acc from a stupid shot taking that dropped my roll from around 2k.
I currently only train for sport 16 hours a week (gym/team n personal training's) so have 30+ hours to grind this through.
I will not move up to 5NL until I have 50BI and will be strict with my BRM.
I now dont drink or do drugs and havent in many months, my habbits were costing me around $25 a day for pot and $30 a night for booze :/
Im now strict with money in my personal life so maybe this will brush off on my bad shot taking habits

I have tried to start a challenge/blog post before but I failed because I didnt dedicate myself to it instead I ran up rolls using no real BRM because i was weak minded and became an alcoholic(tequila was my drink of choice or red wine)!

I will be playing strictly 6max 2NL (6-12 tables) and also at the start of every morning session add in two $1 180man sng to try boost it up little quickly.

Ive been back in the the studying of "Moving up through uNL" published on here by verneer. I do have PT4 as my tool of choice and my ipad for those tilt jerk sessions with the micros get me down.

Goals!

Year:
-Crush the uNL then become a regular at 100NL
-Win my countries national trophy for my sport, be the MVG of my sport,Possibly play abroad once again!
-Join the 100kg club of muscle mass

Monthly:
-Hit target goals set at the start of eat month for poker.
-Gain min 3kg of muscle mass

Weekly:
-Play at least 20k hands a week
-study and develop my game 3hours
-hit the gym 5x a week
-daily post to this for updates
-post hands to discuss
-each 225g of protein a day!! Beast mode it!

Cheers Team!

P.s heres a picture of my daily breakfast!

This guy got me for 3 BI/100 not sure how but he wouldnt lay down a hand and turned/rivered me.. Was it my best option to leave or should have i stayed to try get some back? I tried tightening up and also tried loosening up vs him with no luck.

Also? Whats would be a good rule for when to leave a session if i notice im suffering a loosing session? consider id be grinding an average of 12 tables? 10% of roll? or 15%?

thanks in advance!

I used to use 5 BI's from my peak and it worked pretty well for me. So if I was up 3 BI's and I reached -2 then I'd call it a session. If you're prone to blow up really easily you could use 3 BI's and just take a half hour break or something. I'd call it a day if I dropped ~10BI's in any given day.

Woke up at my normal body clock time or around 8am this morning, drank a strong black coffee n had a cigar.. yeahhh boy mornings are the best.

Felt I should of had breakfast first but didnt.. anyway, sat at 12 tables but didnt reg to any 180man sngs as i didnt feel too awake. Tried not to fish **** out etc, just let the flops come..

2.5hr and 2.5K hands later I made close to 10Bi..

Going to have breakfast now and maybe relax for an hour before i continue my daily sessions.

Any way here are two hands I dint know about really, advice would be sweet!

So Today is over I think as ive gone past my expectation of hands played for the day, Next week I may consider playing a min of 6k hands a day as ive been playing 14tables lol.

So this being said.. I should call it a night and play some video games n eat a mega protein packed dinner! (Brown rice, mixed veggies and around 200g of mince beef n a large glass of milk to wash it all down).

So today ive played 5.5K hands in 5hr... Things went well i was laying hands down when getting 3bet heavy on boards i considered to have been hit with top two or a decent check raise from a reg.. Only five hands i got caught being behind after getting it in on the turn only for the river to give them a flush over my stright/set.. That being said My few largest winning hands came from me being behind with trips to river a larger full house.. (sorry, actually).

other than that things seemed to have gone well.

Bankroll sitting at $77ish as yesterdays premature grind dropped me $7

moving up to 5NL at $150

Back at it tomorrow!

GL and dont give up.

Humble and personal suggestion: play 5nl on 2-4 tables, focus more on getting better than playing too many hands in autopilot, cut off all kind of distraction from full concentration as well.

You will find yourself playing 4 tables in a higher limit crushing it very soon, so it will be better to play 4 tables at 25nl or 50nl as a better winner, than 12 tables at 5nl (holding some winnings and rakeback).

Enjoy your journey

you are correct, i felt like if i was 12 tabling id need 50bi to be steady
but 25bi will be my entry limit for each stake! once i reach 50NL i will start try obtain 50Bi for 100NL before taking the shot!

suggestion noted and much appreciation of the advice/feed back!

every shot taking for the next stake I will only play 2-4 tables and then once sitting with around 40Bi i will then increase number of tables once i feel i can play solid at those stakes. At 2NL i feel like they make so many bad mistakes that i can play well with 12-16 tables lol (not trying to be cocky) as hand selection is key obviously!

I try not to have distractions ie mutli tasking with differnt things, i currently just listen to some tunes n grind hard.

Finished up for the day.. Gotta get my walk on to the gym then have team training's right after so busy night ahead..

Today I played for a little over 5.25hrs with a total of 5,097 hands

I didnt get a good start out the gate and I think that made me play a little too tight, i wasnt cbetting enough and just laying down hands to a flop raise even with somewhat of draws, I didnt flip too well overall most of the day. loosing a few solid flips and getting it in at wrong times to only realize I didnt have the top pair.. KK over AA etc..

I did start towards the end of the second session to cbet more regularly and things started to run well, my redline is pretty obvious to show this.

Dont really have any notable hands today everything was pretty standard.

Graph is a little ugly today but hey we still in the Positives

2x 180man sngs - -$2
Bankroll sitting at $88ish

LOL to think i woke up this morning thinking i could run as solid as yesterday :P

Day3

today i still managed to play a couple of sessions even though i felt pretty drained from yesterdays gym n team training sessions for sport.

3x sessions 6.5hr 7,219 hands

I still managed to wake up at my normal time around 7/8am felt a lil sleepy after breakfast but still managed to grind it out churrr!

1st sessions started out pretty bad, ran into some bad boards got caught on the wrong end on the river at times and AK flips didnt come through but lucky for the villans they setted up each on flips while being behind preflop. it wasnt until around 2k hands that I start to grind it up :/

2nd session i felt more tired but need to push on through to move up! It was pretty standard then I really started to run well

3rd session.. was pretty much a break even session.. I think i got carried away playing 18 tables LOL

No real notable hands everything was pretty much ABC, but I do need to ballz up and start cbetting more regularly, did make some sick(dumb) calls to win a few stacks.. I seem to be able maintain attention to 12tables and make reads but +12 is still a little tricky! I do label players once watching a few hands and seeing their stats.
maybe post up my labels tonight for a laugh.

All up I still ended the day in the positives churr!

BR = $110ish

I almost have enough points to get 2x$10 rakeback but I think if i save them until I reach 10NL I will be able to move up quick through the stake!

Not too keen to take the 5NL shot until around 30-35Bi so i dont have to move down if i take a hit too quickly.

Time to get my walk on to the gym then team training!
