Last few months cliffs : could never keep the insane hourly I already knew that was impossible,
Have made $76/h since January, have only put in 250 hours though, have been beyond lazy..
.looking to put up a ton of hours this summer tho so expect some hands and hopefully good runs starting at the end of this month

I'm pretty much not playing until wsop as im trying to move and save myself from burnout, I plan on playing 70+ hours a week for the entire series

Played some cash today and to say it went bad would be an understatement. Although I am happy with most the hands I played, all of my bluffs ran into the tops of their range so it was quite frustrating

The last hand of my session went something like this,
1k Eff stacks, button perceived to be older and on tighter side but I'm not sure don't have much history

open 5♥️6♥️ CO to 25 Button calls and we go Hu
(Flop 58 in pot) A♥️6♣️2♠️ I bet 35 and he calls
(turn 128 in pot) 3♦️, this is one of the better turn cards for me to barrel so I lead 85, he flats
(River 298) 7♦️, I decide to give up and just try to showdown not expecting to win very often....and then he bets 50, he didn't seem like the tricky type so I thought he was going for pretty thin value always, that range may look something like A4/5, A8-T maybe AJ and maybe he riveted A7 and isn't going to fold, but he's giving me a chance to win the pot so I took it planning on folding out every hand that isn't A7, I check raise from 50 to 240 (thoughts on sizing?)

I was instantly filled with tilt and rage so decided to end the session. This was less than 1 orbit after I had folded trips to a man on the river on a J92rJ6 board (I tanked a long time and showed a J so people didn't think I was hollywooding / trying to get a read) so I figured that would help my image on the check raise, apparently I picked the wrong gentleman

Well sorry for no updates this summer. I fell off the wagon and things have been going Terrible. Punted some money in the pit and done a bunch of other stupid things, also have played Terrible and gambly every session I've played

On 9k upswing in my last 220 hours of 1/3. I legitimately had $1200 left to my name at one point so feels good. Just gonna stick with 1/3 for awhile and not rush things. Never want that feeling again.

Ya never been to gambling meetings as I don't have a huge problem, been to some AA as I think I mentioned earlier in this thread and don't like how religious based it is. Just been grinding away at 1/3 lately, back up around 10k,

gonna make the 5 hour drive to Reno next Saturday and play the WPT deep stack series. Most likely just play the $400 50k and $1100 200k. Will grind lots of cash in between. Mostly 1-2 and possibly take a couple buy in shot at 3/5 if it looks good

I know the shots at mtt are Ill advised but the way I see it is if I brick both I'm still grinding 1/3 and if I happen to Bink one its a huge life upswing. So not much risk for very beneficial results.
Right now I am content grinding 1/3 with a 42/hour tax free wage. Have had a complete overhaul in my brain and while I have totally fuxked up my year (again) I am very happy with where it is heading. Will revamp my yearly goals after this trip and go from there
Hopefully I just win the main for 60k+ and can out myself / give myself a better way to be held accountable

Had been really active preflop for last hour and make it 25 from Co over 3 limps with Q♠️Q♣️ and go 4 ways to the flop with Btn bb and HJ all calling. Bb Is new, HJ is a Trappy older guy and Btn is a spazzy seeming Asian I don't know much about...450 eff with Btn and bb and 700 with HJ

Flop (101 in pot) Q♥️2♦️2♥️ checks to me and even though I have been active I decide to check because I think I rarely get floated and only get 2 streets max from 99-TT and have a chance to overboat small pairs this way (thoughts?)

Bb checks HJ leads 50 I flat given similar reasons as flop, want to let him continue bluffing, if he's strong he will bet call River regardless and I give Btn a chance to spazz here. Btn flats and we go 3 ways to River

HJ leads 100 and I tank for awhile and decided he's either bluffing or nutted so I went with a bigger sizing and make it 375 total
(Wug sizing? Should maybe go smaller like 225 but didn't think he folds a 2 and never calls middling pairs to any size)

Excited to torture myself In some tourneys soon, usually run hot in Reno so probly gonna final table a few and win the main. Going to grind PLO cash when it runs and 3/5 when I'm not playing tourneys. Full focus and gonna play my A+ game. Will update every other day while I'm up there or after every tourney I play
