Sup guys. I m back for another one of these. I ve stopped counting how many of those its been but it sure as hell has been a fun ride from the 5nl fullring cash tables to vienna where I m currently living with my high stakes cash crusher roomie and my girlfriend and her/our two cats (well not quite but next month we will )

Throughout the last couple years the thing that's kicked me in the balls the most in terms of acquiring dollars as much as i d have liked to is high stakes variance and the downswings that followed me taking big shots that failed. While surely another way to deal with it woulda been to reduce table count and study and get to a point where I consistently make solid money at those stakes I chose the other less stressful and more structured option: I m mass grinding a slightly lower abi than i have been and play offpeak. I came up by playing tons of tables and I ve just never stopped enjoying playing huge volume. That's how my brain works and what feels like the best way to apply my skill set. I m a peaceful dude not rly ever striving to be or beat the best I just wanna make money the best way I can and be set financially. This past year has seen me start in a deep hole but finish in the black quite nicely for the first time in a while and this year I wanna build on that and push myself without riding the variance train that is high stakes.

Here s my last two years without high stakes mtts:



And here s my goals poker wise:

[ ] 4 sessions per week, 4 weeks a month, 100 mtts/ Session, 25$ abi or higher
[ ] study once a week thoroughly

As you can see this will mean more than double the volume than I have had the last years but since I ll cut all high stakes it should be much easier to achieve than it looks and should result in a solid profit for the year. I won't make goals money wise cuz it's dumb but I assume I ll make more than 25% roi with this grind and so y'all can fit out what this should net me if u fancy

More importantly here s the life goals I have along with the poker:

[ ] get back into shape

[ ] paint a bunch of water color paintings and portraits

[ ] on average read one book a month

[ ] make sure I leave the house as much as possible in the colder times of the year (summer here is too awesome so it's easy)

[ ] track and minimize my expenses while improving my habits cooking and otherwise

[ ] have a blast

Won't put any live Poker's as goals as it's mainly aids and I ll just go when I feel like it. Vegas is a possibility as is ept Barca ept Prague etc or whatever they gonna call them now but I won't set it in stone. Most importantly I ll keep up my rhythm of waking up early and playing the games I love when I love to do so and go to the gym on my off days. I realize that there will be a bunch of series during which I will struggle but what matters is that I mainly live this way as I ve noticed I m just a ton happier when I see sun a lot and have time to do things in the evenings. Who woulda known.

So ya I m back for another one and it has started already quite nicely on Sunday with four final tables and a bink in my new fav mtt of all time that I ve binked 3 times last month: $44 6max Turbo:
