I dint say that they are not soft, i just said that 82 hipers are huge variance and top of your grind buy in range(15++ x of your lowest buy in)

P.S. My point was that you mention that you are seling some % for 162$, si imo you should also selll like 20-30% of 82 hipers or skip them to flaten as much as you can your buy in range and reduce variance

would agree if hypers were still raked at 2% instead of 5 now. I remember seeing an alias of winning regs for 82hypers prior to the change and results weren't that impressive (albeit there were surely a bunch of regs with a suboptimal shortstack game and the better ones made some decent coin) and now after the rake increase it just became a blood bath. basically before the rake changes I would play all of the early ones and skip the reg wars later, nowadays I dont even consider opening the lobby given buyin and variance tbh.

decent grind today but kinda tilting in many ways

came 13th in the $215 title fight on party after having 4x avg with 30 left and mid grind spilled a basically empty glass of water on some wires and killed electricity in the entire apartment for like 20 min which cost me all my timebanks and put me on solid tilt.

and just now lost a HU after being 10:1 cl angd having the guy allin for the win 2x in a flip. sigh

just wrapped the most tilting session i ve played this year.

i made 6 final tables and had these:

9th big $109 10k+ ftw (made massive mistake and tilted super hard for final 3 hrs)
9th $55 5k party
9th $55 superKO 7.5k party
7th $55 monsoon 888 3k+ ftw
6th €50 magnum wina 2k+ftw

won the smallest of all those fts



and didnt even feel good about that

and then lost with A9 vs KQ on Q99 KK in mini thrill with 40 or so left and tilted there as well after a mistake. its weird i palyed well for most of the day but then jsut not making any headway on the runs i made got to me super hard



as u can see i made f3t 15 times, final tables 6 times and in big stuff too and then just couldnt close anyhting meaningful. kidna hard to look back on the session and gather much from it cuz a run like this is so incredibly rare ive prob not had anyhting like this before. funyn thing is the b109 ft never felt like it could lead anywhere and resulted in me making a massive punt and not being rewarded like all the idiot regs too . gotta work a bit on my mindset. least i m happy i got to not lose money today, peaktime is quite heavy on the wallet if u reg from 2pm till 11pm

Making all those FTs in a day is crazy! Shows that you're playing super well as a whole - I guess part of it was that you probably didn't run well at the FTs.

I guess if you have another day like that, you won't get tilted if you make a couple of mistakes and realise how well you're playing to get so many deep runs anyway!
