schedule has been officially rekt so no grizzlr yet but i have big hopes for tomorrow. did my accounting this month and its funy how my psyche seems to work but when i remind myself to keep track of what i spend i end up spending insane amounts less than i otherwise would while buying better stuff for less. its ridic actually. def gonna keep it up. sure, partly my spending was down due to peaktime glory hunt and **** weather but i got delivery only 4 times and only 3 times was expensive so thats def a plus. and while i ve had many a frozrn pizza its still decent cuz overall i cooked quite regularly and even tried my hand at making two completely new meals both of which turned really nice.

i ve gotten super fat tho so def gonna push myself to the gym this month. also slacked a bit too much on the no smoking this month so again gonna pay more attention.

just made my first home made salad in about 9 months and loved it. bigger and better going forward, vamos

Something that's helping me improve is having a bunch of separate diaries to keep track of everything and having a big goals diary where I've been setting daily goals, writing a review at the end of every day and setting new goals for the next day before going to bed.

It's good to have longer term goals of course, and I have those written out too, but I've found that setting daily as opposed to monthly or even weekly is a huge help because, when you set monthly and you realise you aren't going to achieve some things it's very easy for the whole tower to fall apart and to feel like you have to wait for a new month to wipe the slate clean. You never give yourself the opportunity to actually build the habit of hitting goals, or the best possible chance of figuring out why you're failing.

With daily you can have a ****ty day, review it and realise where you went wrong. E.g.; couldn't wake up at the time you needed to to get **** done because you were up late watching movies and then couldn't sleep - solution - borrow a book and read before bed instead so that you're not staring at a screen and are doing something genuinely productive.
And with daily goals obviously you get to wipe the slate clean every day so it's much easier to find the motivation to follow a poor day with a brilliant day. Long term success is just small efforts repeated consistently day after day.

I dunno, maybe I'm just projecting but I think if there's a habit of failing monthly goals hard, then reduce the time period. It's almost like trying to run a marathon without mastering a mile.

i m not really a super diary kinda guy tho, dont wanna make this thread a total diary type thing so weekly would prob suit me best. might give it a shot when i get back from home and settle into my spring routine.
