a lot of what you said about the escapism and the isolation (obv atleast somewhat corona related) really resonates with me, I think if i didnt have to bouldering thing id be in an super similar situation to you. I really dont think u have to worry about this friends becoming acquaintances thing tho, corona not gona last forever and summer is just around the corner so obviously gona be a ton more non bouldering activities going on

If there’s something I learned while in my career in law enforcement it’s balancing full time hours, overtime, going to the gym, doing cardio, cooking my meals, playing poker, being a good husband and being a good family member and friend is quite the challenge. haha think going into tunnel vision and grindinghard then taking some complete nonpoker time to relax isnt the worst way to go about things (you technically have the luxury of being a cash gamer so u have the option of balancing but i def get how that question mark is a thing

ye i mean its def mainly corona induced and i m very much loking forward to summer. even if its jsut to have an occasional figar brekky or something, its prob mostly these little things that are dearly missed. wont lie other than game nights im not even that much of an 'activities' guy, just love hanging out at the river when its warm jsut writing this it honestly could be a case of winter blues too. i usually get like this when its dark and cold haha

thx boys won’t lie this felt pretty damn good. Picked one of the absolute grandest mtts of the year where I have most of myself to run like the absolute sun in. Couldn’t really ask for more (other than winning the heads up for the extra 40k but even there I ran amazing to have the smallest pko heads up in history relative to the money payout so the loss didn’t sting one bit)

I even hit a one outer for my timbey life five handed. Absolute insanity
