Sup peeps

i ve had a few threads on here before so just look them up for tl:dr versions of my story, heres some cliffs:

-started at 5nl with 200 bucks
-moved up to 100nl
-switched to donkaments:



as you can see i ve hit a rough stretch which started during last WCOOP partly due to RL tilt partly due to not being able to stay sharp playing only once aweek for a couple months and partly due to runbad (obv)

I tried fulltiming uni this semester but that hasnt rly worked out so I will prob mix both for the next semester ie study a bit and try to either start enjoying the studies or find sth else to do and play a few sessions every week usually one on thursday and one on sunday and another squeezed in whenever i have time.

this thread will just serve to document my progress- i dont plan to post as regularly as i used to before, just whenever i wanna ramble sth off my mind or when i have some bragging to do.

first goal is to beat that downswing and to pass my math exam in two weeks.

I'm in uni also and sometimes it's hard to balance, but once I get my work done, feels great being able to go and play all the poker I want haha. Keep crushing man, loved your previous threads!

hey glgl, as someone who went to uni(Dentist) for a bunch of years then decided to **** what I had studied, maybe what youre not passionate about what youre studying!?
Even making money if you dont have passion for it then your job feels like going to hell 5/week. Looks like youre in a position to take some time to think/feel what is it that youre passionate about, cause anything can be turned in to a cash machine once we enjoy it

@melchior: yea you re prob right but I m not all that passionate about poker either in the sense that I never rly have seen myself doing this when I m 30 or whatever, just as sth while I pursue other passions or whatnot. Issue is I have no real passions that are viable options to commit myself to fulltime so I just dabble, couple big days incoming, run goot in hsmtts onetime?

Did you start downswinging after you stopped updating your previous thread? Do you think opening a new one will stop the runbad?

I think being more accountable will create more focus instead of just clicking around buttons. Threads and the increased accountability have usually had a positive effect on my productivity at the tables. Plus I like the extra incentive that being able to brag ikr a crazy mofo brings

Not knowing right now is not something you need to worry about, if poker serves its purpose till the time you know what youre passionate about then thats a success in its own way, just keep options open and keep digging, glglgl
