since i tried out something new and loved it here s two of my new favourite recipes:
blakkman08's Goulash soup:
ingredients:
650g-800g of roughly cubed beef
250g mushrooms, roughly chopped
1 whole green celery thingy (not the root). chopped
3 medium sized white onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
500g tomato puree
1 cube of stock
3 medium sized carrots, sliced
2 bell peppers, chopped
1.5 tea spoons black pepper
1 table spoon sweet paprika powder
salt, oregano to taste
2-4 table spoons vegetable oil of any kind
prepare all ingredients first (that goes for any cooking really, as starting out without prepping just fks up the entire process and becomes overly hasty unneccessarily. that said the mushrooms can wait till last)
1- heat a big pot/wok on high heat till oil is sizzly when touched by spatula
2- fry the meat till its nicely browned (possibly turn down rom max heat to 80% as to not burn it), take out and set aside
3- throw in onions, celery, carrot and stir fry
4- add garlic and bell pepper and keep stir frying
5- add back in the meat and mix up nicely so it takes in the flavor
6- add cube of stock, the tomato puree and water so that the entire mix is covered slightly, stir up, bring to boil, add spices to taste and cover with lid. Let simmer for 45min on low heat, stiring rarely
7- add mushrooms and keep simmering for 15 minutes. meat should be super soft when this is done. if soup turns thick, add water
8- enjoy
another one is my dad's own classic nigerian Jolof rice. its a rice meat mix which is easy to cook in big quantity but i dont wanna clutter this post with too many recipes so gonna keep it at one for now. lemme know if anybody actually ends up cooking this as its one of my all time favourite things to cookand i pretty much came up with this recipe myself.

just sayin', quite helpful for me personally.
curious as to what assisting software do you use in game if any?
want to increase volume myself and have trouble playing more than 10 tables
i m pretty okay at keeping track of progress in the gym myself so gonna refrain from using apps for now but thanks for the suggestion, i use hotkeys on stars, party caption on party, holdem manager 2 and a quick trigger finger
not much, mainly click around the old school way. wouldnt say plaiyng more than 12 is to be recommended for almost anybody but the most crazy ppl in this game, its taken many years to be able to maintain brain function having this many decisions to make. i d recommend focussing on playing good poker and consciously keepiung track of time spent not thinking while playing. goal should be to minimize that by adding decisions (tables)

poker
- play 3 sessions - focus on high focus and low table count (aim for 16 max apart from the hour between 8pm and 9pm when i will allow myself a cap of 20 if neccessary)
- adjust my filters in order to help me game select
- pick up and set up my computer from the pc shop (i bought a new one but it had some issues which needed fixing, i m currently back on my old pc)
health
- go to gym 3 times, stick to the plan i designed back in december
- cook every lunch/ dinner i have while eating at home (maximum of 3 breakfasts outside, one dinner on saturday)
- one cheat instance for sweets
- no weed
- stick to sleep schedule on off days (on work days i have little control of when i go to sleep but make an effprt to fix any rythm issues immediately)
- force myself out of bed the moment i wake up (after at least 6 hs of sleep- i ve spent probably 40% of this year lying down wasting time away, thats pretty ridiculous and in this amount has only happened to me once, back in 2015)
given i m restarting the goal tracker its hard to evaluate the volume/frequency goals i set but i m currently on pace to hit all of them
i ve been to the gym twice sicne coming back and will go again on either friday or satruday to hit that. cooked one meal and havent ordered anything, had outside breakfast twice and likely gonna hit 3 or stay at 2 for the week. havent smoked weed since coming back although i did when visiting berlin which was sort of a letdwon but i forsaw that happening so didnt include in original goals. no sweets or junk food eaten yet, but havent made a salad yet either, gonna try and buy some veggies tomorrow.
pokerwise i ve picked up my computer and luckily for the one session i ve so far played it worked liek a treat. the session itself was very enjoyable, did end up playing 20 tables for 2 more hours than i really wanted, gotta try and skip more 30$ mtts, thats def a work in progress. funnily enough i won the two lowest buyin mtts i played yesterday to make some nice profit lol. every time i make goals these things try and drag me back down but i wont let it happen. had one of the most ridiculous misclicks yesterday that was insanely expensive:
i 3bet pre and wanted to bet around quarter pot
made a small little typo for 41bb deep in a timbey thats supposed to be my day saver 2nd vs 1st fml. obv gott ank jammed on and almost made the tilt call but thought better of it and the poker gods above nodded in approval and let me take it down anyway:
month overall due to the aforementioned lack in motivation and weed smoking and all that bs has been my lowest volume month ever, but at least lookign back i can say that the few sessions i played i played with high focus and good quality. had a nice few cheeky wins in there and am up nicely since i decided to stop bumming around, but couldnt quite overcome the downer from early on. some nice volume days coming up and i m looking forward to those.
will still do mondayly updates as i initially intended just figured monthly ones dont hurt either. peace
