alright lets get this thing going again

so this year has been pretty meh so far.

was grinding 100z for most of the year under a stake, but decided to leave the stake and rebuild at 50z. dropped ~1k at 50z in the first week and am just starting to get back into the area when i can start shotting 100z again.

50z is really soft imo and there isn't any reason i shouldn't be able to be a 5bb+ winner if I play my A game consistently.

here's my start to the month;

and some hands from this month;

              The wrap here is alright but 3betting on the flop is a bit eh. Villain could turn around with AQQX, in which case we're screwed. Having the 9 obviously blocks some hands but not enough that I'm not concerned for that flush draw.

              I wouldn't be looking to stack off on this flop even 100bb's deep. I know there's some people out there that will probably even consider folding flop given that our outs aren't always going to be clean. Given that villain just flatted our 3bet chances are we're not facing an absolute monster, although some people will take it slowly.

              As a general rule of thumb though, ANY aggression at these microstakes is 99% of the time going to be a made hand, but with the way the hand played out we have to be pleased.

              So yeah, 3betting flop? Debatable, but nice hand.

              So basically, by the time they've raised your cbet you'll have the equity to call no matter what. So depending on what you want to do most options will show profit. Raise/calling would be okay at the microstakes I think purely because villains won't always bet/call off on a turn that helps us, even with top set. You'll find they'll check behind a lot hoping for a safe river. If you think villain is aggressive enough to bet/call even on a turn that helps us then calling flop is okay, if not I prefer to raise/GII.

              Of course one good action you could do is bet/call flop, then donk any good turns for us. Of course our hand becomes face up, but people at these stakes are bad enough to call anyway.

              Last hand think it depends how you play Axss on the flop if you're looking for a decent ratio (based on intuition, haven't done the maths). Alternatively you could just pot it since 99% of 50z players just bet all their Tx+ there.

              hey man

              my redline isn't as good as it used to be.

              i generally play a bit looser than other regs lately (like 27/21ish) so i tend not to have as strong of a range as others so I can't really backup really aggro post flop stats.

              i honestly don't think blue/red line matters though. all that matters is the green line.

              if i can offer any advice, i think going check/check/bet with the bottom of your range can be pretty effective because most villains won't protect their checking back range very well. these small pots add up.

              That and being more selective where you show aggression rather than 1 and done kind of approaches. Giving up early and exploit folding earlier vs nits helps too.
