Nightly Recap.

Well we took a beating today. That was to be expected. It's just the manner in which the blows came that felt odd. To say the least.

It's debatable what is more dangerous, lack of information or misinformation. In the former, you don't know any better.
In the latter you begin to think you know better. It is quite obvious, to anyone who has been paying attention, the state of online poker has been in constant decline. There are plenty of resources and tools made available that for the average player, this game has become beyond reach. I am that average player.

So my results reflect that. Over the course of this fun little experiment (prob around 50k hands), I am probably a small winner at 10 NL zoom pool. May be a break-evenish player in the current NL25 zoom pool. Depending on the time/day of the week.
I have not played enough hands to have any idea about where my game stacks against the NL50 zoom pool and above.
I have no interest in finding out either. There are much easier alternatives. And better use of my time.

I just play this game for fun. Whenever I can find some time.
But in the last week had some free time, together with a fortunate luck of the draw on the deal resulting in extra $250 dollars to the bankroll, I pushed the envelope to test myself.

I am ok with the beatings. Probably gave my share of the bad beats and took some beats in return as well.
That's part of the game. You play this game long enough, you see all kinds of stuff! Outcome of any particular hand never mattered to me. Win or lose. Sometimes I got my money in great, but still lost. Sometime I was the underdog, and was saved by the lucky turn of the card or two.
That's all part of the game.

Having said all that, there were few notable observations about the Pokerstars software.
I am not an expert, so take these as just observations/rumblings of one player. We will start with the obvious. I can say with absolute certainty, the decks are stacked non-randomly.
I have no idea how the RNG works.. who tests and ensures it's validity. But it is certainly biased, or at least can be biased. How, I have no idea. There are players ( prob house bots to be more precise) within these games who are exploiting it. They have particular attributes about them. They always act in the same strange yet consistent manner...pay particular attention to the use of the time clock and notable delays between the turn and river card being displayed that follow. The outcome is always the same. In these instances, never good for you. I guess you can call it a timing tell about the doom switch.
But it is a thing. No I did not just imagine it.
For those that know, they probably know what I mean. It is impossible to have played on any real money zooom tables long enough and not notice this.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind, Pokerstars monitors and manipulate your computer during play. Some of it could be part of their security check to see if the player is using some banned software or something. I have no idea. But you can't miss when it is happening on your local machine.

Just to be sure, I watched at least 8-10 hours of you tube streamers and never observed any of the things happening to their client
while streaming live. Yet I can observe that on my machine almost daily.

No.. Pokerstars was not out to get me... or any individual player for that matter. I am nobody.
But they are manipulating the game against the entire player pool. That much I am absolutely certain of...or at least enough for me to stay away.

So I am going to do what makes the most sense to me. Waive the white flag. Thank you...but no thank you.
This game has enough variance on its own. I do not need to support you while you stack the decks as well.

Thanks for the kind words and your time along the way.

You may see me fool around 10 NL zoom pool from time to time.
But I would not trust Pokerstras with any serious money.

Cheers

There are no bad players....just bad plays.

Yes Pokerstars is rigged.
And I'm just a rigtard.
Let's get that out in the open. So you can read the last two sentences and move on your way. This post is not for you.

You see...the problem essentially boils down to that little pop up that says...."do you want to cash out?"... The single biggest scam in
all of gambling...Insurance. Take your equity out now...for a very very small fee. Yes I know you can opt to turn it off.
I know where the button is in the settings to do it for me. I couldn't find it in the software to turn it off for all my opponents.
Did you? Can you? Those that can, or have the powers to do so for everyone, will not. Why would they? What do you think all these
bells and whistles for? To help you make money? No. It's to take away your money. One quarter at a time. Or whatever the percent of the pot
it is being set at. Yes. The entire player pool is being stolen from. And yes it is by rigging the software.

Sure you can always play better. Play tighter. You can be as nitty as you like. Turn in a small profit. Yes. You can always bluff less. May be not in this spot..or that spot. You can always wait for a safe card before you blast off. Or just check back. That is not the point. The point is the game is being reduced, by design, to be about just losing less at a time. For everyone. So get busy losing less. This week it will be Tommy. Next week Bill or Sam. Or Betman. To them it does not matter who wins or loses.
Pots will get shipped around from one player to another...minus the rake...and the convenient insurance fees (if you so choose. ha!).
I guess all you gotta do is increase the number of players that opt to cash out...as frequently as possible. How do you do that?
Hmmm....let me guess. Oh I don't know...let's start by tinkering the frequencies and the card distributions a little bit. Shall we?
Who knows. The math is so complicated. The variance is so big in poker. You can never know. Ha.

There are only 52 cards in the deck. 1326 starting hand combinations. The math has all been worked out. It's been posted all over
this forum even..at least for the last two decades that I have followed it. Just because I am posting from this account, doesn't mean this
is my first rodeo in town Sonny.

The zoom is still a 6-handed game isn't it? It's still No-limit hold em. Isn't it? Do cards distributions magically change depending on how fast a hand is played and how fast the other players folded?
Just because the cards are being dealt faster, you think the distributions should change? No. Then Why Do They?. Yes. They are different. They most certainly are. Go check your databases. The zoom pools are always the exception. You can lock the total number of the hands for head to head comparison with any other 6-player No limit game variant....
10K hands. 50K hands. 100k hands. 1 million hands. whatever number makes you sleep at night.

Oh you don't think the shuffle can be biased? Just go play Spin N Gos.
Within even 100 games it should be glaringly obvious to you that the games are being manipulated to... finish faster. Ha. No it's not rigged against you. It's rigged against the entire player pool. Yet again!

One of the greatest lessons in life is...to trust your gut instincts. They are rarely ever wrong. You have that gut feeling that you are being cheated in a game? Chances are you probably are. No.. you don't need to wait to have the absolute proof.. just walk away. Smart ones probably already did. Without a fuss.

New deposit rungood. Boomswitch. Doomswitch. May be they exist. May be they don't. I can't find them. But I found the switch that matters to me.

Betman scrolls his mouse over to his desktop and uninstalls the client. The Killswitch.

And now for my final trick of the evening.
Betman takes his wallet out. Pulls out couple of rolled up twenty dollar bills.... gently flattens them on the table. Lifts both of the bills up to show the audience and counts out loud. One. Two. And folds both of the bills in half and counts again. 1...2...3...4. And puts the bills back in his pockets. You see...that's the trick to safely doubling your money. Practiced and perfected by fathers and grandfathers all around the world. For the ages.

It's been told that there's a sucker born every minute. I say.. they are being bread. Online. Everyday. Come play on Pokerstars to find them.

Preachers preach....Teachers teach.

Dear 2021shipit,

You presence in this thread has intrigued me. Since I won't be shipping stacks on the tables today. I have some time to respond to what you have had to say.

Thank you for participating. It is never easy to put yourself out there like that. So I appreciate the time that you have taken to respond. But since you were kind enough to give your assessment and opinion on my game, I think you deserve a response. That's' the least I can do... for you. For now.

I have posted enough cherry picked hands (almost 50 dude!) in this thread, so it is logical for someone like you to offer an opinion on my game. I would not even disagree with most of what you have said...I probably am a terrible player. I never claimed otherwise. Nor did I ever say anywhere in this thread you don't need to study to be able to do well at NL50z and above...or below for that matter. I never claimed to be some savant. Naturally gifted at the cards. I have said the exact opposite. Most of the time I have no idea what I am doing...Preflop...Postflop...Turn...River...I am just having fun, playing the game that I love. Always from the heart.

But let's not move the goal posts. You have offered nothing else in rebuttal on what I have said in regards to my observations about Pokerstars.
I was clear to state that they are merely my observations and ramblings of one player. You don't have to feel like you need to come in here and defend Pokerstars. Why do you feel personally threatened by what I said or have to say? I am nobody. You don't work for Pokerstars. Do you?

Since you had a read on my game. In the spirit of the game, I think I should offer my player profile of you. Now keep in mind, I have only two post from you in this thread to go on. So it may be little sketchy. But you will hopefully let me know how well I did. That's what sportsmen do.

Based on the lack of sentence structure and general use of slang, spelling mistakes. Here's what I peg you as.

2021shipit.
Male. Early to late 20's. Country of origin.....possibly Australia. Not very educated. Perhaps some high school.
May be community college. But you certainly did not finish/graduated. Could be family financial reasons or other hardships. Your desperately seek to belong, so you always try to project as if you know more. When in fact you know so little. Oh so little. Your idea of a strong argument is to yell louder. From the two post that you have made, I am not even sure you are capable of coming up with single original thought. Everything that you have posted here is so blatantly regurgitated. Copied and pasted. Without an ounce of thought. You have heard some gamer friends of yours talk. So you try to sound the same. Like I said...to belong. Anywhere.

If you really are from Australia (you will have to confirm for me if I was right on that)....You should know who was shipped off to Australia. And why.
Evolution has not have had long enough to silence some of those strong gorilla traits...it's still work in progress. You are a work in progress.
One mutation at a time.. it is going to to take a few more generations. Perhaps 10 more. Before you become an average, competent human being.
Don' worry. There is hope for your descendants.

I do not believe in putting others down. So, here are some words of wisdom for you. If you want yourself to be heard, make your arguments stronger. There are many perspective to each outcome...life is not always black and white. There is a lot of grey... many...many...shades of grey in between.
There is even a book called Fifty Shades of Grey. You will like it. Read more. A lot more. There is lots to learn. Don't worry. Child. I forgive you.

Now...why don't we make it your worthwhile. You have spent some time in this thread. You know you better. What does this old geezer know.
Let's see how good of a student you can be. More importantly, let's put some money where your mouth is.

In the spirit of the PG&C of yesteryears...Let's set up a simple task for you to complete. In exchange for what you work so hard to make. Money. I don't know what your win rate is... I do not know what steaks you play. It doesn't matter to me. I looked up the minimum wage in Australia on Google this afternoon. It said the national average was $19.84 Australian dollars per hour. Let's round it to even $20. I am fairly certain you do not make that much playing poker per hour. Like I said.. this is just my read. I could be wrong. If you say other wise, I will believe you. I won't even ask you to prove it to me. Just let me know whatever your hourly is, if it above that national average for Australia.

Once we agree on your hourly, I will then pay you double that amount. That's right. I am putting my money where my mouth is. I will pay you twice an hour what you are currently making playing poker. To play poker.
All you have to do is play Spin n Gos for 10 hours on Pokerstars. We don't even have to pick any expensive steaks. The absolute minimum will do... 25 cents per game. You can play one game at a time, two games at a time..4 games at a time. Your choice. All I am asking is for you to play for 10 hours. I will pay you 2x your hourly. $400 Australian dollars. All you to have to agree to do in return is bring the hand histories back to this thread. To me. Then we will have a quick look. I will show you a thing or two. If I am able to convince you that the Pokerstars shuffle was biased in those hand histories.. actively manipulated to shorten the total elapsed time for each game. Clear deviation from the expected. You will agree to pay me the same in return instead. $400 Australian dollars.

Let me know if you are up for it. If you don't have money in your Pokerstars account right now, I can send you some to get started. Let me know if you are up for the challenge. I posted my Pokerstars account in this account. PM me yours. I will ship you at least $10 immediately to get you started (if you need it). That's good for 40 games on the 25 cent games. If you end up needing more, to complete the challenge, I will ship you more. Your task is simply time played. Not win rate. Win or loss doesn't matter. Don't worry. I understand. You may be a cash specialist. It wont be a reflection of you game in any shape or form. I am making it your worthwhile. You play poker anyway. May as well get paid 2x more than what you would be normally making. Who knows. Could even be fun for you. You will certainly learn in the end.

Your move. Let me know by the end of the day or the next couple of days. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Cheers! Mate.

Sigh....That's unfortunate. I had such high hopes for you. You could have been the one. I had so much planned that I wanted to show you. Teach you. You could have even helped me get better! We could have been the real PokerBros.

Well... if you can't play on Pokerstars...perhaps don't go around on the forums posting in people's threads about how they don't know what they are talking about. At least we are playing on the site. You can't even do that. Even when given a chance...for free!

Get back into that call center that you crawl out of to post. Yes. I know. I have always known.

Let this thread be a dialogue instead with people who can actually think. Or at the very least...do us all a favor...Just sit back and watch. Read. You may still learn a thing or two.

Cheers.

For everyone else...back to regularly scheduled programming shortly. Sorry about the little detour. We shall get back to our hand history posting ways. Just a heads up... may just be from 10NLz and 25NLz for a while....until we get the RNG warmed up! May take couple of them software updates that Pokerstars does. We are due soon for that message to pop up. I am waiting.

Sigh....should have cashed out preflop...when we got it all in. They offered me $6...something... Sentient programs. They can move in and out of any computer still hardwired to the Pokerstars servers.
That means that anyone that we haven't unplugged...is potentially an Agent.

On Pokerstars...they are everyone...and they are no one. Stay Alert.

888 to the rescue?.....Why does Pokerstars promote them so much on their platform?

Maybe I should just become a sponsored pro of 888 instead.

What say you fam? Do I has what it takes? I can be like their..10NLz representative. I has mad skillz. And I have a heart!

Is there an application process? Do they take walk-ins?

For anyone who has not caught on.. THIS is HOW the Insuarance Scam Works. Yes. There are hundreds of such house bots.

Don't pay attention to anything after the flop. That is nothing. The key is preflop. That is when the pop up will come and ask.. do you want to cash out? Naturally I declined. I am a Pro.
