Got some tips for you, use preflop ranges from GTOWizard free, put it on 50nl and see what hands to open from every position (2.5x except 3x on sb), also you can see what hands and sizes you should 3bet/4bet from different positions. At 10nl be a tiny bit tigher in opening ranges and calling from the bb. And watch lots of youtube videos from Weazel_1991, Nick Eastwood annd BluffTheSpot.

Also turn on auto rebuy to 100bb in Pokerstars, else you will be getting the green ring yourself

Edit: can also suggest to sitout next bb and open a new table above 130bb until you perfect the 100bb preflop game atleast, but you can keep doing this even some top pro's/coaches are doing it still

Few random thoughts/observation from first day on the Nickle/Dime Streets

May be playing two tables of 10NL zoom with $40 is not ideal. So going to have to add more ammo.

I may drop the tables down to only one for the first hour or so. Till we condition our brain to be Nittier. Short-stacking Russian bots have no hearts! So we need to shoot them in the eye.

It feels dirty/ratholing to close tables once around 130 bb, but I may have to take your advice on that since I do seem to just going with my reads when even super deep thinking they can't both have Jack on JJx flop... once I fourbet with my AA pre.... but yea.. they always have the J there. Lighting 300bb on fire when the bankroll is 500bb is road to bustoville. But we are not here to cry about bad beats.


We are gonna hit the streets again. But now with 10 bullets instead.

Do people have any thoughts on cashing out/insurance fraud that Pokerstars is offering every all in? I have been declining every time on principle alone. I'm only few thousands hands in, but looks like Pokerstars bots are exploiting it. May have to reevaluate after another 5K hands.

Lastly... I gotta get better at fading. May have to sacrifice a cat or two.

Beginning to think if I am just a pay-off wizzard.

This is the type of situation I was referring to early about cashout exploitation/what looks to be some sort of shady thing with Pokerstars...Granted I was the beneficiary in this hand... but it feels dirty none the less. The real beneficiary is Pokerstars everytime!

I have never cashed out before.. but looking at few of these type of hands throughout the day... it's kinda spooky how often the rivers hit like that. The frequency of such events should be close to the theoretical.. but it looks to be more frequent than expected. Then again... I'm only like 10K hands in. on the Nickle/Dimes....

Also stop shortstacking, I'd advise you to move down to 5nl and put 50% or more of the time you have into improving by the tips I gave you instead of playing and move back up again after you've improved or have a great winrate over 50k+ hands. If you have enough money to face some serious swings by all means stay at 10nl, but if you have a lot of spots you don't know what you should do and just close your eyes and shove allin I'd move down and work on improving first

And post your hands in forum format so it's way easier to read the hh

Can you please link me to a thread or a post on how to post hh properly. I have tried to use the hand history converter link that shows on top here.. but it always says server error .....

By the way, I do not short stack... i just realized I only had it in the settings to top up when stack gets to 80 bb. That's a leak. So fixed that. Now we top up back to starting stack after each hand if need be. Still going with your 130bb stack and we open new table routine. that's been good to keep the math easier to work with.

The suggestions to made earlier were very helpful. I like the criticism. So thank you. Probably need to adjust and be even a bit more tighter...particularly in spots like the AQ. Just dont feel good to give on the hand to one flop bet. But I know exactly what you mean. On the Nickles/Dimes.. we can wait for a better spot!

I mark these accounts as Pokerstar in house shills. I know for a fact that against these accounts I should always just cash out. There are number of these.

It's not the bad beat.. it's who the pots always gets rewarded.. unless you cash out. Fing Pokestars.
