Hey guys so I have really started to create a bankroll on ACR from nothing. Been playing some OTR and TDD freerolls finally cashed for 4th and have $1.66 to start with. I will continue to play freerolls.. but what are your thoughts on what i should do with this? Should i be playing sng or cash? any thoughts and advice to work my way up would be a great help..thanks!

don't have the acr schedule at hand, but aren't the smallest games they offer 2NL and 0.5$ SNGs? If so, you should stay away from both if you really don't want to deposit at all until you got like 10$

Yes 1nl is the smallest they have. I am gonna try and just rock the lowest stakes and keep grinding make something out of nothing.. current br= 2.01

I just checked, they have 2x 0.1$ tournaments a day. Seems like this is your only option besides freeroll if you don't want to go broke within 3 On demand sngs.

not neceassarily, but it would be 5 Buy ins for 2NL (1c/2c) or 18 buy ins for 0.5$ On demands, which should last you some time before you have to drop down to freerolls again due to a downswing.

I would stay at mtts since you got some practice in it by playing these freerolls.

if we use Kelly at the 45man section (0.55$ OD get about 30-40 entrants) with a 10-20% ROI you would need 34-69 BI = 17-34$ to play these games comofortably. So with ~10$ you can start playing these to get a feel for the real money games and move down to freerolls if you drop down to ~5$.

fwiw a 10$ OD freeroll (one just running got about 600 players) is worth 0.015$

but freeroll schedule looks good I guess

just try to play any of these freerolls and the 0.1$ mtt and take shots at the 0.55$ ODs whenever you get above 5$ and stop playing the 0.55$ ODs when you're under 5$

I guess you're american and can not play on 888? (maybe wsop?) - as they are great for nano players with no bankroll since they got those daily fortune wheels that can give you a ticket worth ~0.4$ daily as well as steps going from 1c yielding up 10c tickets (no rake of course)

SNG

Freerolls and MTTs

They got freerolls to higher games, super cheap steps and an easier pool than ACR

Yes i am american. Which is why i am bound to ACR and bovada. I think staying playing in $0.1 mtts while im below $5 and $0.55 when im above ~$5 is how im gonna do this thing. I do have a good feel for the MTT's since i have been playing those recently. I did decide to jump into a cash game right after cashing the freeroll and now BR is at $2... This is going to be a long journey but i have a feeling i can make it out of these mentally exhausting micros eventually with good help and suggestions. Im going to really try and stay true to that MTT bankroll strategy and play freerolls and see if i cant get something going! I also plan on possibly playing short .1/.2 NL sitting with 1$ and if i double to $2 i walk when i get above $5 as well. All advice and suggestions are welcome.

thing is that you need to learn each variant so if you stick to one game you can learn more extensively and become better in shorter time at your format.
but I wouldn't say that micros are mentally draining.
It is just a video game, besides evaluating the skill of the playing field and BRM, it shouldnt matter if you play freeroll or 0.55$ right now.

W 26$ you should play all the 1$ OD and MTTs as well as 0.5$ ones. If you drop below a certain value (10,15,20$) I would skip the 1$ ones and keep firing the 0.5$s. I guess 15 or 20 is a good threshold. If you reach 50$+ you can skip all the 0.5$ ones if you want to.
