I think my suggestion to play 8 game is reasonable. I mean it would actually be pretty funny if I beat him over a decent sample size just no in PLO8 but I actually think I would have a very good chance of winning. I think you know that too but you would never admit it.

If he is such a good PLO8 and by his claims excellent at every form of o8 then he should also be good at 8 game if he's so versatile. I read from him that he has played most forms of poker so I think 8 game would be a fair fight at midstakes. Don't you?

The reason I left cash was not because I was losing at any form of o8 but I wanted to take a break as I did not enjoy it mostly and I also lost around 10k in stud8 to 2 Chinese clowns when I was drunk. (my downfall at cash cashes was playing drunk sometimes) And then ego and frustration being my downfall. Was a winning player in nlo8 up to 3/6 and plo8 up 5/10. Probably too small sample size in 5/10 though.

I think i could be one of the regs who battles both players the most last 2 years. Even today played bit Hu vs Shanis.

Why i rather sitout because of the rake and because there is chanche these players could beat me. It cost lot of energy and i tilt quickly. There are no Hu tables to fight for and i always have seat in 6 max game either way.
I would play fers NL 4 card (he dont play me in that) and Shanis is pl 4 card en Nl 4 card if rake was way lower (or at least rakeback on 10/20).
