I come here with the soul intention of becoming a professional poker player from nothing.

Is that possible using two plus two? Well, Only time will tell I guess.

The purpose of this thread is to make this happen, to actually see if someone is able to dive straight into two plus two with only the rules in his locker, and become a professional player.

Hopefully, this thread can become a blueprint for others in the future. So please get involved, comment, subscribe and follow this journey with me.

I have literally just joined, with no bankroll whatsoever. I passed the poker strategy quiz and I'm now awaiting $10 free cash in William Hill poker room. I can also claim a free $10 at Party Poker, Poker 770, Poker Heaven & Titan.

I'm a bit daunted by this to be honest. To cut a long story short I was a very bad player years ago and completely quit poker all together. But I've decided to come back and put everything to the back of my mind and forget everything, and finally do this.

So what I need is a plan.

Where do I start? Do I begin my career playing cash, SNG's, MTT's?

Only knowing the rules, Where do I begin to learn to become a poker player with no knowledge?

So please comment below with your thoughts, opinions, suggestions! Thanks.

Play, read/study, find people to talk poker with, play. Repeat.

Play small stakes and don't whine, even to yourself, about your measly bad beats.

Expect to lose for months and possibly forever. Most people with your goal fail and there have been THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS of you.

Good luck, you'll need it.

i think if u really want to be successful u need to be thinking about the game 24/7... eat sleep and breath poker. its has to consume ur life.

u can look at some other posters like imfromsweden and many others in PG&C for good examples.

not gonna say its gonna be easy but if u really want it badly u can do it... GL!!

Thanks for being positive.

I have read imfromswedens journey here, and was well impressed if i could do half as well as him i would be proud of myself.

I just do not know where to start, I want everything to be right this time.
