You took the high variance line and 3bet and then pot committed yourself on a pretty dry flop where you're only likely to get called by worse hands without much chance of improving - they're not calling with nothing when you pot bet so you're pretty much turning your hand into a bluff. Just something to consider as AAxx can become a very expensive hand in PLO.

(I realise the above is probably contrary to what is considered "standard" in the PLO section, but you should always aim to be better than just doing the "standard" stuff + there are benefits to not 3betting aces too)
Got ya. You only would shove preflop AAxx double suited ?. Not talking about other hands .

It depends against the player of course. But if we're talking about putting in my stack of 100bb pre-flop then i'll do it with pretty much any aces but preferably at least single suited (I can think of one time I folded aces pre-flop in a pot I could have got it in 3ways because I put someone else on aces and figured i'd be chopping/drawing dead.) I generally prefer to play the game post-flop

That's a shame. Sounds like you're dedicated into getting better though. I guess it's hard to put in too much volume with 3 jobs. But to become the 'new plo king', gotta up your hands/day to at least 2.5k Just saying. Good luck anyways

It really changed my whole game. Preflop is alot easier for me now because if you get reraised pre your not automaticly comited.
And the most important think for me is that when you get stacked off you just simply make more money and its possible with 100bb to bluff people out of the flop on tunr and rive wich you simply cant with 50 BB.

For example:
PokerStars - $0.05 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

SB: $1.92
BB: $9.77
UTG: $12.50
Hero (BTN): $6.45

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05, UTG posts DB $0.05

Pre Flop: ($0.12) Hero has 6 9 7 T

UTG checks, Hero calls $0.05, SB calls $0.03, BB raises to $0.25, UTG calls $0.20, Hero calls $0.20, SB calls $0.20

Flop: ($1.00, 4 players) 7 Q 8
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $0.35, fold, BB calls $0.35, UTG calls $0.35

Turn: ($2.05, 3 players) 2
BB checks, UTG bets $1.00, Hero calls $1.00, fold

River: ($4.05, 2 players) 3
UTG checks, Hero bets $3.86, fold

Hero wins $3.86

Yes i should have bet more then 1/3 pot but i was kind of afraid of a bigger straight if a 9 falls.
I also wasnt so sure if i played that hand correctly and i posted it a couple of days in the plo forum here the link: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/38...-play-1128852/

Played another session but i played it on the 0.10/0.25 short heads up tables.
People are so fishy at those but i just cant play them because of my BR.
I just wanted to try them out with one buy in and won 24.29$ in 123 hands.

What do you think should i give them a 5 Buy in try ????
I rly think if i dont hit a doomswitch at the beginning i can makes some winnings.

BTW: There is a guy who lost over 90$ already at a plo5 table and still plays. One guy is getting all his money lol.

I really like your mini shot at a micro stake that was out of your BR. It looks like you went in with a plan to just use one buy in and it paid off. Good discipline. I'd be posting the same thing if you only lost a buy in at .1/.25 instead. Keep up the smart work OP. rooting for you

yes. what's the confusion. you played at 5x your normal stakes for a short session and profited and you said you were only going to try one buy in anyway. good job again?
