Just be nitty and don't pay off in spots where you have a straight and board pairs and suddenly they fire. Or you have a weak flush and they start raising, those sort of things where you don't have the nuts/a way to make the nuts. Not that many people bluff in these games (or so i've found in my experience.)

I can't really fault any of your recent hands apart from the above. I think you should fire turn. You don't want to give away free cards and if someone's got a set they're not going to fold so you at least get another street of value out of them as they chase for the board to pair. You don't need to do anything too clever and worry about donk betting at these games, if they have a hand or half a hand they're going to call even if you suddenly take the lead when a scare card hits.

Did you take a shot at PLO50/100 on your graph around hand ~15k?
it was plo50 hu ^^. I had a big fight with my girfriend that day and was like **** it i wanna play hu now. To good it worked out pretty well :P

Hi,

gratz on your recent success and the (i think) wise decision to give deepstack play a shot, you´ll benefit vastly from it as a player imo.

One good advice I can give you is to use the responsible gaming feature on Stars to exclude you from stuff like PLO50 HU etc.

PLO is a game of tilt and your shots won´t go well every time. So ususally, the first time when it doesnt work out well is when your whole BR goes down the drain through tilt.

I personally busted 2 rolls on monkeytilt at PLO50 HU, and if I look at your graph you seem to have the same tendencies and just been lucky so far.

If your serious about becoming a good PLO player it might have benefit for you to "protect" you from tilting of your roll in -EV games (the rake seems so ridiculous high at PLO50 that it might be hard to beat it even as a winning player..)

If you feel like playing HU from time to time, why don´t you mix in some HU SnGs? I played a couple and they seemed very soft.

I tried the hu sngs. The thing is that when someone beats u they weill leave instead of play you more. Thats what i dont like about it and wich makes me not play it . And the vpp u get is ridicilous low

I've meanwhile started to learn PLO by myself and are currently playing a lot PL2 and 5, so we might meet at the tables.

Unless you had a read, hand 2 really feels like a mistake. Why did you not think they'd flopped the nuts?

Hand 3: I don't know - these spots are kind of thin. I'm ok with it but not loving it. I think if you put them on a set you can still hit on the turn and get paid off.

Hand 4: Another spot where I think you're overplaying. Your T is a dirty out and villain's bet pot so you're not going to get a fold if you put them all in. You have a read or something or are you just shoving every nut flush draw?

I was going to play some earlier, just feeling pretty tired atm.

Hand 4:

Don't you think that Villains Range contains enough combodraws with inferior flushdraws to make the push (slightly) profitable?

He limp/called from late position, so I would say that he can have a lot of gapped rundown hands here as well that flopped something like an OESD with a flushdraw or sth...
BECOMING THE NEW PLO KING Quote

If you go up against a big draw with some flush outs you're not a huge favourite and if you're up against a set then you're not in great shape either. The best scenario is hoping they have something like top 2 and that's it. In a pot which wasn't 3bet/4bet people aren't going to generally stack off with top 2 in this spot.

I just feel if it is profitable, it's such a small edge that you're going to have to do it thousands of time to overcome the variance of pressing that edge. I'd rather peel and re-evaluate as I think shoving isn't going to get hands to fold and then it's a question of "what do I hope to get called by?" and working out how your equity fares against that range.

i guess hand 2 isnt that bad . I put him on two pair here because he played amost everyhand.

And i had an overpair with straight draw so i think its ok to put it in.
Hand 4 i honestly thougt he had kkxx with a flushdraw aswell or 78 .

But when i play aaxx with the nutflushdraw and i get raised on the flop i almost insta shove it pretty much everytime

thoughts on hands :
hand 3 : i raise preflop with a double suited hand from utg . Flop comes perfectly for me .
turn isnt changing much another flushdraw is possible now but at this point i was pretty sure he had either trips or two pair. The hand pretty much played hisself.

hand 4.: i reraised preflop with single suited aces get called by the open raiser.
flop is horrible for me . Flush draws and straight draws .
sb checks and i contibet and get called .
turn comes a 6 . at this point i knew i was probably behing and i should have check fold here but i bet and loose .
