Was thinking if i should start twitch to let you guys follow my epic journey better ?
Problem is i'm on a laptop so i've gotta setup a stationary computer etc, what do you guys think??
Duration: 4h 55mins
Hands played: 5906
Net won: $69,38 (34,30bb/100)
EV Net won: $7,46 (10,25bb/100)
Thought i'd talk about two of the biggest pots this session.
#1
Preflop: UTG opens for min and we got pretty DS Queens so standard 3b
We get snap4bet from a villain that i've got a note on that he 3-4bets light so pretty standard call, if we were 100bb deeps i'd ship it pre since he 3bets 20% and 4bets 12% so we're ahead of his range alot and even tho he 3-4bets light he pretty much only GII with aces so we got a bunch of fold equity by jaming pre, but since we are superdeep the only option is to call.
We see a flop of T84rb, good flop for our hand, we also block some rundown hand with our pretty much useless 73 sidecards. He cbets 70% here so standard float. Turn brings the Jack of spade, villain doesen't cbet turn light so unless he smashed this turncard someway he's checking back this turn alot so with our QQ blockers for the nutstraight and also blocking alot of his range that can continue on the turn like KQJ etc so i lead the turn and he calls. River brings a brick 5 of diamond and we follow up our bluff and jams the river, and he goes in the tank, almost timing out while i'm screaming fooooold
and he calls with like 1sec left and i'm thinking amazing calls with AA w spades m8 !! But apparently was valuebetting the whole time lol.
Results: $28.73 pot ($1 rake)
Final Board: 8 4 T J 5
Hero showed 3 Q 7 Q and won $27.73 ($13.45 net)
CO showed 9 3 T A and lost (-$14.28 net)
#2
We get dealt DS Queens again and a standard 3b pre vs a lag player from EP.
He calls and we see a flop of J65cc and villain comes out firing pot, i see this alot and this is almost always a draw or nutflush combo, when they flop set they 99/100 times go for the checkraise witch they should since i'm cbetting this flop 100% in a 3b pot HU . So i just call his bet and we see a 9 of hearts as turncard and villain fire again, we pick up a open ender so pretty much a trivial call yet again . We river two pair when the Ten of diamonds land and villain snapjams, and i'm 100% sure he never jams a straight or set here since 87 would be worried about a higher straight here and atleast take some time before jaming, but usually they check here so when he jams and we got QQ blockers again for nutstraight we call with our two pair and scoops a nice 500bb pot.

Usually when i grind i listen to music, but for the last couple of days i've put on a video w Ben Mallah in the background, i really like the style of this oldtimer , i dunno if he's big in US or it's just me who like to watch random people on youtube , i've been following Grant Cardone for a long time but i like Ben alot more, seems alot more real.
Nice, the graph looks good. For some reason I thought you were up more.
Do you mind much about the red line or happy so long as the green one goes up?
I got some 40k hands on another computer so you're right, i'm up more, about $120 more.
"Greenline is all that matters but if your red line is terrible improving it might be the best way to increase your greenline."
I'm rather suprised my redline is that low since i do all the things to improve it, i 3 barrel bluff alot vs fishes on locked down board, valuebet extremly thin and 3b very wide.
break-even or slightly losing red line is pretty optimal, I think. but my main focus is on the blue line

Do we got any Omaha Manager gurus here ??? I'm having trouble with how the program calculates $EV Diff , some hands are just way off, i can gii with nutstraight vs like 1 pair no redraw and the hand is marked -$xxxx.
Like this hand :
I guess the only reason to use it if you're taking a shot in a higher game and don't wanna risk getting sucked out in the biggest pot of your life and you're happy to pay 1% for it

Yea but that's like taking an insurance for alien obductions, not likely to happen.
I think its pretty bad for winrates , anything that lowers the variance is terrible from a winning player standpoint, i'm thankfull for variance, It's the only reason you get action. Fishes aren't lining up to gamble in chess.
I mean, no winning player will ever take this, so it's just a way to increase Stars' cut of recreational player's money going to them rather than to regs - i.e., it's an effective rake increase
So pretty much this:
- 1% fee
- Rec players now have a clearer idea of how bad they are getting $ in
- Rec players lose the 'satisfaction' of taking stacks off regulars
- Insurance = reduced tilt = reduced edges
So i've been thinking of buying a computer monitor for some time now, and i've got my eyes on Samsung 43" Curved. Does anyone use curved monitors for grinding ? if so how is it ?
The resolution of a default PokerStars table is 800 x 570 pixels and the 43" got a resolution of 3840*1200 so it would fit =
3840/800=4.4 * 1200/570=2.1 = 8 tables without overlapping.

So i posted this in another thread but i think struggling players need to hear this.
I've seen the same players been grinding the same stake and not making any progress year out and year in, i've listen to tons of audiobooks w Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Robert Kiyosaki,Zig Ziglar but the best advice i've ever heard is from Seinfeld :
If you want something you've never had, you've got to do something you've never done (=
I think a lot of people in life and poker are comfortable where they are. I dont think your average losing plo25 rec or reg could be beating 1/2 in a year with coaching and studying.
