So today begins my journey as a pro. A little more about myself first, I graduated from college in Dec. I was able to get a job right after graduation that was similar to what I went to school for but not quite what I wanted. I worked there for 6 months until I quit last week. I made Ok money for the area and was told that if I wanted to come back that I could. It's nice to know that I can have my old job back if things don't work out.
I went in early today to check out the 1PM tournament they were running, I got there a little late and there were 10 people signed up (10 to a table). I decided to play 1/2 instead. Nothing really exciting happening, tight table as I expected it would be for a Monday. The table broke after an hour and I didnt want to wait 45 mins to get on the only other table playing. So after 1 hour I profited
$150. Only hand of note was:
Hero in EP: 9
9
raise to 15, 4 callers
Flop: 3
5
7
Hero bet 35, one caller in LP with around 75 left
Turn: A
