I am finally taking the plunge to play poker full time. I have played for several years online and live since black Friday. My goal is to make 50K in profit playing at a local casino and also traveling to some of the other casinos that are nearby. I'm creating the thread to post hands and get general feedback on how I played hands and what I could have done differently. I will start my grind after the weekend (going to visit gf's family). Ill write more later after I get off work.

So today begins my journey as a pro. A little more about myself first, I graduated from college in Dec. I was able to get a job right after graduation that was similar to what I went to school for but not quite what I wanted. I worked there for 6 months until I quit last week. I made Ok money for the area and was told that if I wanted to come back that I could. It's nice to know that I can have my old job back if things don't work out.
I went in early today to check out the 1PM tournament they were running, I got there a little late and there were 10 people signed up (10 to a table). I decided to play 1/2 instead. Nothing really exciting happening, tight table as I expected it would be for a Monday. The table broke after an hour and I didnt want to wait 45 mins to get on the only other table playing. So after 1 hour I profited $150. Only hand of note was:

Hero in EP: 99
raise to 15, 4 callers
Flop: 3 5 7
Hero bet 35, one caller in LP with around 75 left
Turn: A
Hero ???

Session 1B, I went back to play during the evening, which I plan on doing most nights. The table I got sat at was by fast the best in the room. There were a couple of agro people, with one guy who was betting 50 dollars when tp/gk. I never got into any big hands with him. At one point the avg stack was 400-500 which is nice since the cap is 200. Nothing super exciting to report during this trip. Overall I profited 390 after 7:45 mins.

Total Profit so far: $540
Total Hours: 8:45
Per/Hr: $61.71

Session 2 had nothing exciting happen. Sat down at 1/2 and got JJ within the first few hands, I raised from EP and got one caller from MP. Flop is 6 7 9 with two hearts. I bet, he calls. Turn is a six and we get it all end. He turns over 10 8 off... river is a blank. It was a rough way to start, I moved over the 2/5 game but never got much started there either. Finished the night even overall.

Tonight ill be playing a tournament and then some cash after. Hopefully the tables will be a little better and have more action.

Total Profit so far: $540
Total Hours: 14
Per/Hr: $38.57

Session 3: Nothing exciting to report as far as hands go. Didn't win or lose any large pots just a bunch of small ones. I started out by playing a tournament and was doing really well but tried to run a bluff on someone I knew I shouldn't have bluffed. The middle aged lady was horrible and had been making bad calls all day so why I thought it was a good reason to bluff is beyond me. After the tournament I played 1/2 for a bit then moved to 2/5. I was hitting a lot of good flops in 2/5 but the table busted after an hour. I went back to 1/2 and finished out the night with a total profit of 183.

Total Profit so far: $723
Total Hours: 22.5
Per/Hr: $32.13

Session 4: Had my first losing session since starting to play full time. The action was slow, there was an older gentleman who was calling all in's with 9 high flushes and two pair on straight boards. I was never able to get any big pots with him. I was pretty much break even all night. Only one notable hand for the night

Villain was a 30-35 year old guy who had 500 in front of him when I sat down. He was raising most pots and had won 7 out of the first 10 that I saw. He got into a couple of big pots and had solid hands each time.

At the time of the hand, I had about 155 in front

Hero raises to 10 with 8 h8c from LP
3 callers including Villain in big blind
Flop is 6c 7c 2h
Checks around Hero bets 25
Villain makes it 50
Hero?

Total Profit so far: $523
Total Hours: 28.5
Per/Hr: $18.35
