I have solved poker. What was needed was the correct song on spotify. This is how a session looks like when you play this song. I had it on repeat, thus consistent success and not unlike the almighty god PureDiesel I unleashed my rawpower and smited my opponents into oblivion. I felt like Ryu in a real world street fight. Showering them with alpha male strikes such as dragonpunches and hadokens over and over. Not that the song itself brings out the beast in you, its more like being shown the light and get to bathe in its glory.

I fully expect every session to be like this form now on. Want to hop on the train to success? Here you go.

anyone know what is considered the norm in 5max and 6max games regarding WTSD% ? (I understand it is in symbiosis with W$SD% but at what % do you guys raise your eyebrows and go like, uhm okay he folds way to much so im just gonna keep firing at him if you guys see his W$SD% is 50%-52%. I am thinking one of my biggest leaks lies here.

Alright, booking the month. Been a wierd month, I had a "huge" MTT-binge (in my world that is) where I played 57 MTT´s over the course of a few days and It didnt end to good, -$1480 with 3 cashes where the best position was 37th in the big ben. Shoved 33 in the sb into BB for 20bb, aces. The more promising tournament was a really fun 4handed where I was chipleader a number of times, swingy stuff , however I busted out in a very funky situation after a few up and down pots which all were sort of std, blinds were creeping up on us and everyone was pretty good at winning the flip they needed when they were the shorter stack and the reverse until I was the shortstack on the BTN with TT. Blinds were 10k/20k and i had 400k. Opening to 40k SB 3-bets to 100k(which he did a whole lot, esp. now when he was the "new bigstack", this changed alot between him and me hehe). anyway I was not worried about his range, at this moment it was a fistpump jam, but BB flats the 100k which had me worried as he was sitting on a mediumstack of 650k with me on 400k and the one in SB on 1,7mil or so which kinda tells me that he is either on a really ****ty hand and want to herpderp a golden board like JTss, 89ss, and perhaps low pockets he misplays OR the divine one. But I couldnt listen to my spidersenses, it was 240k in the pot already plus antes which unfortunatly is not much in 4handed play so I shoved into the BB aces. I do not know much about MTT's, but I do not like his flat given that he is not a big stack who can "gamble" with a 3way flop in order to trap but nevertheless, I got owned and busted out that one in 49th. My two deepest runs :/

Small comfort on the tournament side is that I got a few tokens of "kill the fish"-bonuses and stuff during the winamax series along with me tilting sporadically Spin&Go/Espressos, just small ones $5 or €5, sporadically €10. I managed to make a profit though of $121 in the end over 266 of these, hilarious jamfest this makes the tournie sum landing on -$1350.

Cash? Oh well. I was casually playing zoom 6-handed on the side to get supernova comfortably as I thought I had the gist figured out, but seems im not even close. Yeah, samplesizeLOL etc (22 buyins over 20,5k hands) but I actually feel lost a whole lot which isnt a good thing, taking the sign and getting rid of that sidequest.

Spoiler:
zoom games 6handed 0,5/1

To be fair, I got peeled and turn oversetted a gazilion times I do not hold the powers to fold a set very often but I sure as hell seem to fold way to often in other spots lol.

1/2 regular tables 5-handed not much to say, a little runbad but nevertheless a loss and small sample. Most of my stacks were to the tablefishs which sucks as I see regs get the enjoyment of picking them off.

Spoiler:

Atleast HU+3handed treated me well. Not much HU in there this month though, only bumhunting there for the time being so it´s about 2k hands.

Spoiler:

Exclusively 3handed games.

Spoiler:

total giraphe of the month sad face with all games together:

Spoiler:

removed the sd/nonsd for a swungy look in the next spoiler;

Spoiler:

There is about 10k hands missing which are on the laptop, but its a +$50 total and running with AI-EV (mostly 0,5/1 5handed) which I played in the sofa netflixing sporadically.

That graphed and said, it was a bad month but with rakeback and monthly bonuses and counting my MTT-losses etc im up about $2k and change. I get the feeling from looking at my graphes that I need to play UTG/MP/CO much better, my redline isnt diving as hard in the 3handed games as it does in 5 and 6handed, probably playing to weak hands to often forcing me to fold and not calling down enough with the stronger holdings, yolofolding to often basically. Hence my inquiry question in the post before that I sadly did not get any responses to.

Going to read up a bit more coming into february, cutting the zoom games for now and not play as much on regular table lowstakes either should free up alot more study time as its probably more tilting than it is rewarding as the money isnt that good and the very same stakes as ZOOMgames rakes more than the double amount in my database which isnt very sexy at all to the endresult

BTW. Very excited about broading my game a bit if the opportunity given delivers next month

edit; final giraphe with rakeback+monthlybonuses+tournament bonuses put in.
Spoiler:
so subtract -$1350 from the yellow line for monthly totale.

edit2:

HOPEFULLY I get to run better both in poker next month AND in life. Been rough couple of days of late, my youngest daughter(1,5 years) been lying in fever for 3 days straight now it ranging from 39,5 to 40,5 celsius which is bad and really tough on anyone esp kids. Havent slept much myself last couple of nights, 3 hours 3 nights ago, 1 hour this night. Got a full nights sleep in between as it was GF´s turn then, I really do not have the "guts" to sleep beside her as im kinda sleeping deep when I do, and I do not hear well either as im gravely hearing impaired so I do not trust myself to wake up if she starts to have an feverattack/fevershakes and stuff like that, its been quite easy not to fall asleep though as she kinda keeps waking up alot. As any parent in this spot I wish I could be sick for her instead because its so heartbreaking to watch despite that im that dude that gets "sicker" than everyone else(reality is that im not, just weaksauce soul), selfpity etc

Feb goals:

Poker
-no ZOOM this month

-focus better/prepare mindset before sessions. (not tired, not being sloppy with gym etc)

-try to play atleast 50% of the time with delayed decisions(I usually snap everything)
-250 FOCUSED games spin&go/espresso & do some research behind SNG&Hypers, find the relevant videos and info and study, as of this instant I only have HU nash jam/call charts which doesn´t account for ICM(do multipliers matter at all? I have no clue), need to think actively about ranges w/ to limping, 2x, jam etc so im not totally off base w/ everything.

Life
-Dietstart again. Allowed myself to become real soft and out of shape as I quit working out there for 3-4 months and when I lift weights now its really unfocused and without much drive. got about 10kg or 22lbs to cut & remodel. That said, this is a multimonth goal obviously.

-Buy myself some skis before seasons over and take that up again, been holding that thought back some because results and work ethic isn´t top notch, my extravaganza tend to go the kids instead when results is slumming. So hopefully im off to a good start or atleast mentally feeling great so I can treat myself

small update thus far in february. The pokergods have been good to me, ive been running good, both in regular pokers and spin&gos. Only gotten in about 80 games a day though in spin&gos so no volume there to speak of but ive won all days so far except one so im slowly chipping up. Life is going according to plan aswell.

I just hope it could go on like this for a whole month.
02-08-2015 , 06:12 AM
Thinking of dropping HEM2 and switch to PT4. Any upsides at all? IDK why really, just want to be able to have a hud in iOS on the macbook so I do not have to bootcamp/parallells. "Lazy" but I am also thinking about having a switch of a main computer to hengedocked mbp.
02-12-2015 , 05:53 PM
played like 1k spin&gos this month, it is absolutely impossible to run above chipAI-EV lol . Crammed out a roi% on 1% despite running 100% below accumulated chips so far, oh the horror.

regular pokers been tough since last update, but I managed to pull out a small win today atleast.
02-15-2015 , 10:35 AM
the multiplier swungs in this game, so dumb, itm >40% get -ROI%

It´s listed for each day

unrelated to pokerupdate; VABRUARI(swedish mixup of two words, VAB which is short for "being home with sick children" and february.) Lots and lots of sickness going about passed around the daycare kids, so im not getting as much pokers done as I wouldve wanted since its comfortable to me to stay home with sick kids becuz... well im home anyway, but my fiancee have taken a few days off here and there so I can get some grind done. Training(dietstart @february) is going great, im actually picking up in strength again, and I am feeling alot slimmer already and is pretty much fully detoxed from sugaraddiction. Haven´t weighed myself yet though, was thinking of checking the first time @ next monday.

Pokerrelated? on a small upswing again, which feels good aswell, no big financial break through though, the usual.

overcleaniness is def a "issue", but also parents whom is unwilling to stay home when they are infact sick or atleast contagious. Prisoner´s dilemma to it´s fullest. Everyones kids get sick if one isnt doing their job as a parent and keeping their sick kid at home, and thus everyone get sick. If everyone did it right, the colds would stop being passed around like a secret note.

But people today is overconsuming today(buried in mortages etc), so they need to go to work. It wasnt like that in Sweden 2 decades back but the materialism and greed is slowly transforming the wonderful place of Sweden into random capitalistic state! We still have a long way to go tho until apocalypse is around the corner as illustrated in the video below, we are still heaps ahead of the rest;

02-17-2015 , 10:32 AM
Getting sick kids together is fine the problem is as soon as they are home they are given **** medecine that hides the symptoms and stops the body from learning how to better fight.

Let them get sick, dont give them any medecine outside of vaporub at night to breathe better and they'll get stronger.

cool video

unfortunately people don't care in the west. They just want the latest tablet(never seen anything so useless as a table when we have laptops and massive phones)
02-21-2015 , 05:23 PM
this post really do not belong here, nothing pokerrelated or anything so skip this, its just personal stuff that I need to write down for the sake of my sanity.
Spoiler:

I cant sleep. I sure as hell know im not fit to grind for the moment, all I am doing is sit here and erase post after post. Trying to gather my thoughts. I have now(clearly since the paragraph above..... decided to not erase this one), im a emotional bitch when push comes to shove. figures it feels better afterwards as it really do not matter in the grand scheme of things, practically as noone know who I am except for a few pokerfriends and one pokervillain here and there. Anyway, here I am at my parents house, my kids are asleep and I thought this was gonna be a relaxative weekend, (I often escape to my parents house w/ the kids if my fiancee is working the weekendshifts, which occur about once a month.) Dad was doing his usual stuff in the evening, watching hockey and taking small breaks to the refrigerator, however in one of these trips he got dizzy, and managed to get himself to a chair and couldn´t get up afterwards. Got hit by a massive stroke(or atleast that is what im assuming it is.) His right face started to hang, he no longer had control of his right part of the body, neither the arm of the leg and his ability to speak was gone. Ambulance got here real fast and he and mom are gone with it. Luckily my kids were asleep already so I have been free to break down at will and so I have.

Talked a bit with my older brothers now and feel better, they have been waiting for this for a long time already(to the tune of almost 10 years) I am the young naive one who really didnt see it coming like they did. In their mind this is one of the best things that could happen to that as he is a goddamn human IRL-troll, he refuses to change or adapt if he really doesnt absolutely have to and this should be a pretty firm push in the right direction in case he bounces back from it like alot do with most of himself intact to change his way of life. My oldest brother who have worked with him and know his working history better than anyone actually told me a few things I didnt even know tonight, noone that have worked with dad or under the circumstances he did during the 70ths is even alive today in Sweden, they have all died. and alot were younger than he is (he is 68.) so for him it is a huge win that he is even alive today, considering all the **** he carries on and the mistreatment he gives his body everyday. He figures we got grandmothers genes to thank for that, she is 90+ years old now and havent had one little thing hit her in terms of bodily ache.

Got a phonecall from my brother now, whom is at the hospital, he is doing under the circumstances pretty okay, the "usual" gibberish when trying to answer more than yes/no questions and the doctor is gonna make a decision wether or not to put him on the stroke ward or intensive care soon, which is pretty much just a 24h decision as he is for sure ending up anyway in the stroke ward soon enough and a long rehab to look for. Hopefully he can give a **** and give it a real go, my fears rather than hope is sadly in the favour of odds on that one.

****, with that im gonna wrap up this text and watch banshee and clinch my phone for updates.. perhaps get some sleep. What I do know im not gonna do is play poker for the next few days, my mental state is for sure -EV.

02-21-2015 , 05:39 PM
Kinda hits home and something i can relate to. It's good that you were there and able to help him and hopefully he is getting a good treatment now. Hope he gets better !
02-21-2015 , 05:48 PM
Yup. Ran good with that one, would probably be gg if he was driving somewhere, stubborn as he is he mightve killed someone before stopping aswell or got it in his sleep.
02-27-2015 , 05:43 AM
gonna book the month, I am for sure gonna play a little more but I got time and results won´t differ much in the end anyway. This was a low volume month, the thing with dad, short month(hehe) and it being the worst sick month of the year with regards to kindergarten sure did their thing and NO ZOOM.
Spoiler:

sweet rush to save the month lol

Also played ~1800 games of spin&go on really low levels to pass the time, im total **** but I managed to cram up 36,5% itm and a roi of 2,10%. which netted me about $250. Add in some bonuses of another $400 im totaling @ ~$6850 pre RB. A okay month for sure! Gonna up the stakes a bit on the spins and test the waters, so much fun!
02-28-2015 , 08:40 AM
correction; Been winning a bit since update, a additional grand or so, and a few buyins in spins. So totaling is close to $8k pre RB this month. Pretty happy with the results considering the amount of time ive played this month
03-02-2015 , 10:16 AM
started this month by running really ****ty, started the last month by running godly and then ungodly.... so my hopes are up that I will be running godly from now on !
03-04-2015 , 03:55 PM
hi,

Nice blog.
What do you do theorywise to beat the games?
What are your fundaments for example?
How are you working on your game beside playing??

keep winning
03-05-2015 , 01:53 PM
Hi. Up to 6 months ago I have only been playing HU for years, not working on my game much except taking a random reg battle every now and then and watch recordings to get an idea of how people play and general direction of "evolution". Figured id branch out to shorthanded tables in order to get more hands in every month. My bb/100 will take a nosedive but figured it would increase my hourly which is all that matters. To speed things up I took a few hours of coaching, we basically just talked about ranges and looked at my database a bit, analyzed a few handhistories(the methodology behind it mainly) that got the ball rolling in terms of how to aproach the game. Worked a bit on my ranges, tried them out, small fixes, try some more. repeat. Fairly happy with where im at atm, except that im a little low on the 3bet/4bet frequencies , however its balanced in its current state, just a bit nitty.

For the moment im also working on my HU hyper/spin and go knowledge, which up to this point have only been spamming games and try to pick up the gametendencies and implement them, and hopefully improve them a little bit on my own. Crushed some microlimits, now donking around at 30s.

I guess im gonna roll with a coach here aswell when opportunity is right, for a few hours. It is the nut in terms of money spent and time invested imo, as long as you go for a effective and proven one.

Gonna brush up on my shorthanded game soon again, read up a bit and mark hands and try to break them down. Doing this every once in a while puts your head back on top instead of having your degenpilot in the frontseat. After that I think im gonna go back to working on my HU game as im being sat by regs a little more often now than earlier so I can fend the nongod tier off
03-05-2015 , 08:11 PM
You watch no vids and basicly dont reads books at all.
Guess its -ev?
03-06-2015 , 04:53 AM
"watch recordings" = watch vids, I do read books. But they are mostly in the past as there are very few books up to speed with todays games on my stakes. Applications of no limit holdem was the latest book, The mental game of poker before that. It is just not something worth the time for the time being, except for online reading obviously in all forms. (conversation, texts on 2+2 or whatever)
03-06-2015 , 05:24 AM
Quote:

I dont get that.
Obv appl and mental is are good books by the way.
03-06-2015 , 06:49 PM
I just think that most books are outdated versus the state of the game, except for sng and mtt ones.
03-06-2015 , 07:28 PM
ah allright. Therefore you have to work on them by yourself.
Just get the math from mathematics of holdem or application of holdem and use some software equilab etc. i guess.

Sng and mtt books or vids valid? like harringtons.
