I consider myself a bit unlucky so far with regards to coolers and preflop holdings in standard spots, but hopefully it will even out

I feel that I need to update my grind spot now, im getting very accustomed to 6tabling now as long as it is on one site, im often finding myself overlapping tables or playing with half visible tables etc because I dont have enough room on my 27" (2560x1440) screen. I am thinking of 2x PIVOT screens, need to figure out with "-size I should go for if the goal is to aim for somewhat the same height all across three monitors. (2x 20" PIVOT mode + center 27"). The 27" im rocking is the classic DELL u2711. If someone that reads my journal is secretly holding the nGTO answer please do tell

It really sucks when I have to kill 1-2 or even 3 tables with great value because I just dont have enough room .

Anyway, some stats/giraphes is in order, month so far;

Monthly dollarsites giraphe, which is about 80% of my action thus far (no point in showing my Svenska Spel AI-EV and sd/nonsd winnings as they are faulty and thus misshowing). My redline is very catastrophical so far this month sadly, its not usually this bad. Hopefully I can turn it around.

dunno how you can play on spenva. I tried the boss media italian network and **** nl100 was similar to nl2 cent but **** this rigged ****ty software..

Never lost so much so quick with 0 rakeback
12-07-2014 , 02:43 PM
? what is spenva? If you mean Svenska Spel it´s the swedish government site, its fine/legit. Well it´s a boss media client and that´s awful in itself but the games are great and the rake is low (effective 50% rakeback compared to any other site straight off the bat). Only real complaint is that HEM-guys haven´t figured out yet how to make the nonsd/sd graphs to work there properly, sure the endsum is correct but everyone, and I mean everyone gets heroic red line graphs there.
12-07-2014 , 06:20 PM
i know its not rigged its just i have the worse bull**** happen to me on boss and i play like a **** tard because the software drives me nuts against terrible players.

All the best sites are on boss media but u need balls of steel

First day this week started of real good , let it go on like that one time!

No game this morning, lying in bed with the laptop tucked in. Just left the kids at kindergarten and im going back to sleep a few hours. Stayed up late last night as there was a few insanely good games running and I also ran well along with actually playing well. Sound and active. A 3handed game with a regular whom I have the utmost respect for as he opensits up to €10-20 and plays those games a whole lot, battling at €5-10 etc were shut down. I did have the position on the weaker player but that meant that he had the position on me. However the weaker player weren´t active at all preflop with 3bets, but rather had a high vpip / calling game and peeling awfully optimistic which suited me real well with regards to the position. Anyway, back to the reg he did the usual stuff I encounter when playing against "higher" opponents, 3betting me alot and putting alot of pressure on me barreling but I kept catching him and also made some light K-high calldowns that were good (without being to sticky as sceptical that might sound, just made it clear to him that im not gonna get pissed on for no reason just because he is being aggressive). It worked and he stopped. He even went superpassive, nearly stopped playing altogether after a few spazzy failures where he kept running into the fish´s stronger hands (fish limped his btn pretty much always, and I chose to complete OOP a whole lot and he respons with 4-5xing this with some really bad hands that doesn´t even play well multiway ) which was a surething since the fish isnt folding and I am sure as hell never folding something I chose to complete with knowing that the reg might do just this -> fish autocalls -> me getting sick odds although OOP, anyway he ended up in some really nasty spots alot stuck between players, investing to much money when behind and not extracting much at all when being ahead.

Eventually he got a bit tilted and left and gave up his spot, and in came a shottaking regular from lower games who weren´t fighting back at all which was excellent for me, just let me had all the smaller pots and just bided his time hoping to get a "cooler"(well, not technically speaking but you know, a big hand where the fish commits to much for no reason).

The other game/s were some 5max that had some huge marks that I unfortunatly had the nutworst position on on both tables but that worked out okay anyway, I got alot of them chips!

Probably gonna post some hands later, but now sleep.

These hands within spoilertags are NOT $10/20. It´s swedish "Svenska Spel" and therefor it is ~$1,32/2,64.
Spoiler:

yeah, decided to turn it into a bluff on the river holding the nutblocker, as I am fairly new here and im not likely to yolobluff like this ever in this spot. Opponent being one of the better players, and I can easily see him being comfortable in his own game to not to be scared of being bluffed out of big pots like this and he betfolded quite fast. It certainly helps knowing that he is crushing straight up and winning boatloads There is obviously a big chance he was yolobluffing himself though.

Before you look at the spoiler, read my thoughts first:

First off we are somewhat deep, I squeeze the shortstack(which was the initial better)+regular, I still get 4bet by the regular for some reason and this is a decent warning sign. My spidersenses started vibrating as I can definitely see him flatting a big pocket here just because MP is a shortstack and also very bad so he shouldn´t be worried about getting all his monies plus the mere fact that he puts out a squeezebait.
Anyway, I got AKo, im not folding NOW so I press CALL, hoping for a flop of divine glory - also hoping the shortstack just ends his misery right there. He didnt, he saved his 4 euro to the flop.

FLOP comes K 7 7, I am so ****ing smart and clever and all those things so I decide to donkbet 4bb/4 euro into the shortstack which calls it off and now the "regular" does something that I was not expecting at all. He raises me to 26bb / 26eur! Now my spidersenses are on FULL ALERT, alarms are going off everywhere, evacuate to the bunker! Arnie is shouting "go go go!, women&children first!" so I FOLD! Happily as I am going to witness the full extent of my glorious fold by seeing the hands to showdown thanks to the fish. I mean, who the F raises as a bluff there ever? The fish is in there with a hand aswell so...

So he 4bet squeezed when he is in position with a midpocket deep instead of flatting and setmining the **** out of me and raised me on the flop not even a surewin against the fish. Mmmkay. I got owned, but the question is, who butchered the hand more? I think its pretty ****ing close

quick morning session. Lost against the tablefish, but got a stack of the other regular whilst the fish was sitting out(he eventually got kicked out though because of waitlist, for some reason the hh doesnt show him in the third seat, not that it matters but that´s why we played, hes on my not-to-play list otherwise.)

A very funky play by me, probably real bad but hey im applying Dovidiu logic here . I won the hand. To my defense, the regular seemed a bit off his game, not valuebetting in some given spots prior to this hand which made me inclined to believe he was overbluffing and not valuebetting AQss/AQo which would otherwise be my main concern on the river, putting his valuecombos down to A4ss/A5ss and sets, however my "read" on his state of mind also means he isnt valuebetting a worse ace for 3 streets. I guess I am also beat to one/two bluffs that got there( 78ss, 56ss ). With that in mind, I guess my call was bad, dunno gotta CR-EV it I guess.

Hah, i like the hand tho
12-12-2014 , 04:03 PM
After this month, in January im thinking of taking some coaching again. My old coach (4 hours) is abroad and isn´t focusing on playing for the moment but rather enjoying life, doing BJJ and carpie diem kind of thing. I kinda feel like I am trampling water, doing great time to time but mostly I am struggling and losing slowly in 5max whilst doing fine overall in hu/3handed. I do have a good feeling what my biggest leaks consist of but it´s hard to break habits. I am not really following my ranges strictly anymore(especially my 4bet bluffing range) and I am not cbetting enough on the flop and if I do I do not follow it up remotely often enough on the turn, which I think the main reason is that I am making decisions to fast, as in clicking buttons and therefor I mostly make decision based on hand strength / equity rather than how my whole range looks for the opponent(s). Most given solution to this would be to cut down on the amount of tables, do some offtable work again and follow my ranges more strictly.... but, it´s boring, its fun to grind! (sick feeling)

Anyway, to sum up the rant. Do I have a poster or avid lurker hat might be THE coach for me? Or do any of my posters or lurkers got any good suggestions?

YourDoom does not have a slot open im afraid

Finally a session where I ran like god, even though I played like ****! Had a absurd amount of aces, 6 of em in 757 hands and got it in queen vs jacks which always sucks for the losing one. Even ran above EV. (75bb!) Ohh happy days

Did sadly though not end up in significant amount, great tables but short evening session as I am having the kids the whole weekend because alpha dog is working 24/7 until monday which means BETA-mode for me. Maybe ill take the kids for a stroll @ the town tomorrow sipping a latte.
12-14-2014 , 06:04 AM
Yeah, did a quick morning session while the kids were doing stuff with their mother including paste, scissor and paper/toiletrolls and colored papersheets and all that stuff that I hated doing in school. Didnt bother to bumhunt or fire up another client but one(Svenska Spel). Christmas spirit went out the window when I made a random play against another formidable regular. Which sprouted in a not so epic lashout from him where he berated me nonstop which is fine, I do not mind but he knew my PGC and tablename whilst not being a avid reader which would imply that just the word seems to have been passed around from what I percieved as trustees or I have been to careless with my personalposting/hh´s. (I do know one though who also do not have much love which figured me out pretty easily but he is sherlock holmes.) I do not see him and this guy have any connection though but I might be wrong about that.

Anyway, he suggested id upload the hand so I get laid down some mathematical truths whereas how bad my play was and suggested id download pokerstove, then progress to flopzilla and finally get to the endgame of cardrunners-EV.

"love your ego, thinking you can profitably defend there"
"hubris, no wounder you are losing at 5max"
"I can show you with maths how much of a losing play that is, and with some more maths show how that flopraise was even worse. turn+river play themselves though"

Wording might be a bit off, but that was the gist. Anyway, here is the hand itself and you are welcome to flame away

Spoiler:
Can´t a man be allowed to just be clicking buttons sometimes? Probably gonna do a little sunday update as I always do but after that im probably shutting this down, this is exactly the type of stuff I am trying to avoid by posting here under a psuedonym instead of the swedish pokersite, to put it in swedish, "jävligt skitnödigt beteende". I do not mind being laid down the truth here or by showing more tact ingame - ranting and general badmouthing on the tables put me off, alot. I have never claimed to be a god @ 5max.

Weekly update, probably last for a while, if ever as vented in the earlier post today. Holidays coming up and im just gonna push a few more k hands and call it a month basically except for random funplaying here and there when I got a spare hour or so. Gonna do some offtable work aswell. Took a shot at tournaments today, as usual it did not go well . Figured id take a shot right before wrapping up the year and booking a huge win, as I obviously in my head had already won the sunday million. Atleast the cashgames for being a tournament night went unusually good,(booked a $1200 win or so) usually when I play tournaments and do some cashgames on the side(or the reverse) I go on monkeytilt supereasy at the cashtables. I do not know why really, but winning a huge pot at tournament tables kinda nullify several stacks lost at the cashgames for some reason when the tourniechips true chipvalue is a few bucks or so if that. So as long as I run well at the tournaments the cashgames can go as bad as it want, but the second I start to bust out tournaments there is only one way left on the cashtables and its downhill. On a skateboard. With strapped rockets.

Wrapping up; Positions, as you see most of my profits is from HU and that I good stakewise on the 3handed action

Anyway, this weeks giraphes, starting off with $£€ sites, bad volume(not due to excessive tableselecting, did my usual tablenitting which is perhaps being a bit to friendly towards the other regulars considering how my game is. Just much to do IRL.)

Dollar+Svenska Spel(only 2k or so hands)

Finalizing giraphefest with a last one on dollarsites only filtered towards 5players> and monthly in bb´s. Been running a lil bit bad I guess in the visible AI-EV but that´s all what it is, visually tangible. Get my game in order, run like durrrrr OF THE OLD and I might be off to a very good 2015!

Really bad wrap up for the year, was hoping for a good month but that was shot down, quite disapointed in the year overall, sure, I had a pretty awesome first half of the year which was not disclosed here though as I started this journal in the latter part of 2014 but that was just running good with bums and stuff aswell as running hot in the few ringgames I played, I ran alot above EV and especially in the bigger games. Despite that my 2014 is the worst year ive had in the 10 years of poker ive played thus far, or well, not really the first 2 years were just volatile as **** and I went broke a bunch of times and bounced back within month or two but since I got that **** toned down.

Giraphes I guess, won a bit on Svenska Spel aswell but not much, volume was real low so no point in showing it as it almost didnt even change the graph at all.

Dollarsites AI-EV in bb+s and dollars. Thank god I run good at bigger stakes

Lastly, filtrated dollarsites for 5players only;

gl in 2015, I'm sure you'll bounce back! Do you have any tips for improving HU game? What do you do nowadays to work on your own game?
