Bad Beat Jackpot & Bankroll

If you were part of a bad beat jackpot, whether it be winning/losing hand or table share, would you consider money won part of the session?
It's a bit deceiving when analyzing poker stats, bankroll, etc. since it's not a true reflection of your actual play.
What do you guys think?
