Decided to stop MTT's for a while and back to zoom grinding! This is more to keep me updated and discuss some hands, etc.

Started like a week ago and I am having fun again in Zoom! eventually I will back to MTT's (I think the juice is in that format, cash games nowadays are really though)

Since last update I haven't play. It's summer already in Portugal, I had weedings, I celebrate my birthday and etc!
So, volume this month will be terrible, I am not gonna achieve my goal ;(

First session of the month:


H1- most people will check behind but I think there's still lot of value here in this spot, what do you think? was a punt?


H2- Really like the way villain played, I tanked a lot


H3- ahaahha, this one... since the beginning of the hand all my alarms and instincts were telling me something... vs REG. now analysing the hand I am not sure if I played like an idiot

I am starting to build a nice winrate at NL50z, it's a lol sample off course but it gives some motivation to keep going

Long time without update, still summer time, not playing a lot!
Volume still the main problem, very short sessions, I feel very tired or desmotivated after playing 1k hands for example (that's ridiculous) but here are the results so far:

vs whale. i block hearts.. and in river I thought his range will have a lot of draws or some 8's. I think I made a terrible mistake here checking.. I could bet 1/3 to try to induce but never check because of that K. lost a lot of value vs whale

4bet I think it's fine vs agro rec. in the flop.. can I accomplish anything with that 1/4 pot bet? just trying villain to fold 88- but that 4bet flat even for a rec shows some strenght. just check/give up flop?

happy with the results, 6.53bb/100 on NL50z seems very good to me, I wasn't expect that much but still a LOL sample and I might be running good or something, so let's wait for a big sample to start to take conclusions

easy fold? or just the king of nits? the way the hand was played vs 2 regs I don't think I am in a good spot, I block FD, str8 draws, JJ QQ are most of their range, I reallt don't know what spot is this... so I decided to fold, no worries

I'm also playing in .frespt and I think we played some hands in NL25.
I'm currently "beating" NL25z and hoping to move up soon to NL50z.
I was wondering if NL50z in .frespt was actually worth to play cuz I only see good regs playing against each other and little fish in a day to day basis, I think I was wrong! haha
Regarding your posted hands I think the first one is an easy fold if they were both regs (and fairly competent) because of you having the Kc.
In the second one I'd have 3betted preflop almost 100%, but as played, I'd have given up on that river.
3rd hand, nice bluff and good sizing I think, maybe you could have scared him off if betting bigger but will never know haha

I think frespt is kinda soft, but ok, I was playing in party poker, everything beyond that is more soft ehehehehe
There's still some whales and bad/mediocre regs at NL50z, in my opinion or maybe I am just sunrunning and thinking everyone is not that good
Yeah, hand 1 I am very comfortable folding KK in that spot, the hand QJs I think 3beting and flating are both fine, it will depend a lot of the "villain type" we are facing.... hand 3 is kind of a punt vs fish but... :P

Hot session yesterday
play some NL100z, this game never runs on pokerstars.frespt and I take a look and see some NL50z fish and recs playing and all the regs that were in the pool were the same regs of NL50z, so decided to take a shot and worked well. 3 tabling, one NL100 and two NL50





Screaming KK AA, this just worked out because we were very deep, I think :P vs reg. It was a long and painfull tank by villain

I am forced. In .com there is more regs but also more fish. So, I don't really know what's better. But I think.frespt is soft
